Complaint raised from Location- Jaipur (Rajasthan- India)

This is with reference to Honda Cars allotted complaint raised number 'VIN No. MAKGM652EEN001704 on 12/12/2023 - Clarification on Extended Warranty'

1. I have two Honda cities, one is 2014 model IVTEC UK07BG1382 and one is a 2017 model CVT IVTEC RJ14ZC0026. Both have extended warranty. CVT 2017 is in continuation however 2014 model had a discontinued warranty period from 2018 to 2020 in between; but since the past 3 years same has been renewed.

2. My 2014 model IVTEC UK07BG1382 had developed certain issues as informed by Service Team of Pink City Honda Jaipur (Vishwakarma) related to undermentioned parts which are covered in warranty list :-

(a) Converter Comp -Part No. 1816055CE00

(b) Sensor RR Oxygen - Part No. 3653255AZ01

(c) Sensor Air Fuel Ratio - Part No. 36531RE003

(d) Converter Comp CC - Part No. 1819055CE00

3. The warranty was done by Sunshine Honda, Sitapura workshop, which has been closed now and thereafter I had to shift my car for service support to Pinkcity Honda in the second quarter of this year.

4. The above parts are covered in extended warranty vide Honda Cars warranty document as attached; however Pinkcity Honda service Team has shown their inability to honor the warranty. They mentioned the reason that the company does not refund for the parts replaced and the fine is levied on the dealers if they replace the part.

5. Despite repeated mails to [protected]@hondacarindia.com; not a single mail has been replied by them. Only I receive calls if my querry has been resolved or not. It seems HONDA CARS to gain populairty for their product and EARN FALSE MONEY, resorted to sell FAKE WARRANTIES to their customers thriough their dealerships and later not honoring their own warranty.

Now I look fwd that either the company should honor the warranty or return the money of extended warranty of both cars to me.

Dealership cant do any thing. Its the Honda Corporate level which is playing game with customer.

Kindly guide if I need to send legal notice for same. Or your forum can do something to it.
