January 3, 2024 I mailed in a yearly payment of $179.88. During that month I was charged $6.00 through auto pay. I called about the $6.00 and I was inmmediately reembursed. Two months later I called why my check never claeared the bank. The gentleman found my check and turned it over to finance while I was on the phone and assured me it would be taken care of. Since that time I made several phone calls about the same issue. Why has it not cleared the my bank so I can see I paid. I do not want to do auto pay because I started that way and wound up with overdraft fees. I prefer sending checks. I noticed with several of my contracts they would hold on to my checks. I am old fashioned and I balance my check book every month so I know exactly what I have to spend. I am on a fixed income and I track my monies. I have told them over and over again not to use my debit card, I will mail checks. Now it is 5 months and homeserve veolia is still holding on to my check. I want to see in black and white that I paid. I get the same answer everytime I call- we see you paid- then why has it not cleared my bank. They tell me not to worry but 5 months is a long time and soon it will be half a year. What if I have a plumbing problem? Am I going to be told I didn't pay? I've been with Homeserve for several years. I don't want to change. I don't want to have to find a plumber and pay alot more money. It's so simple. Deposit my check. Someone in finance is not doing their job. It shouldn't take this long. My agreement No. is [protected] and my zip is 17055. Please, please help me. I had to call today again about it and I get the same answer: Don't worry about it you are current I'll let them know. 5 months is a long time. Please, please clear this up.
