HomeAgain Zero or Negative Stars Deserved

Pretty much what everyone else has said. Horrible customer service and billing of CC without permission for a deceased pet. Have been trying to contact them for weeks with no positive outcome to cancel their service. It appears to be intentional at this point. Avoid this company like the plague. You've been warned. Hopefully it is not too late for you or your pet. Stay away from Home Again. It appears they are just a front for a financial scam. Maybe it isn't, but it certainly appears as if it is a scam.

Best solution is to never give them any money. It's a useless subscription that doesn't give you anything. Use a free chip registry like Free Pet Chip Registry.

HomeAgain No Service Provided

I have paid for my pet's microchip policy but am unable to access the information online to update my home address and personal information. The website says to reset the password because they "updated their website" but experiences "internal errors" every time you try to reset. I have called multiple times and nobody ever answers the phone. You wait on hold for 10 minutes minimum, are asked to leave a very detailed message, but never receive a call back. In my opinion, I was charged for a service that is not being provided. This company then, is a rip off and scam.

Desired outcome: I want a refund OR to be able to access my account online to update my information so my pet can be returned to the correct place if lost.

HomeAgain Renewal payment not credited

I paid for the microchip renewal thru my bank - a check fo $24.99 was sent and cashed on 8/20. I kept getting emails to renew and called the company 6 times. They still say they never got the check so my Bank of America sent them a copy of front and back of the cashed check. After that there was silence but the website still shows 'not renewed'!

Clearly there is fraud going on!

Desired outcome: Payment applied to account!!!

You don't need to pay them. The info remains on file even if you don't pay. Paying doesn't get you anything useful.

HomeAgain HomeAgain Review: Terrible Customer Service and Unauthorized Charges

Yo, listen up, I gotta tell you about my experience with HomeAgain. So, I signed up online and gave them my card number, but then I decided to cancel. But guess what? They still charged me even though I erased all my financial info from my account. And get this, they won't let me close my account online. I gotta call them, but when I do, no one ever picks up, not even the emergency hotline for my pet! I've been trying to reach them for three whole days now, calling different services like customer service and emergency, but no one ever answers. It's like they don't even care about my pet. So, I had to call my bank to stop these people from taking my money. And I'm not done yet, I'm filing a complaint with the BBB. This kind of service is just not cool, man. They're taking advantage of our love for our pets and it's just not right. Be careful with these guys.

HomeAgain HomeAgain Microchip: A Disappointing Experience

So, we got our cat from a local shelter back in March and they had a HomeAgain microchip put in when they took him to the vet. They told us we could call to have ownership transferred, but boy oh boy, it's been a real hassle trying to get in touch with them. I've left three detailed phone messages over the course of several weeks, but haven't heard back from a real person yet. And let me tell you, their automated message system is not doing them any favors.

I finally decided to try emailing customer service eight days ago, and while I did receive an email response with a case number, I still haven't heard anything else from them. I even left a new email message today and got another automated response with a new case number. It's like they're not even trying to help me out here.

To make matters worse, when I tried to go through the process online and enter our cat's chip number, it said it couldn't find our pet. What kind of nonsense is that? I'm starting to think this whole HomeAgain thing is a huge rip-off.

Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with the whole experience. I thought having a microchip would give me peace of mind, but it's just been a headache. I think next time we take our cat to the vet, we'll be looking for a new chip with a far more reputable company.

HomeAgain Disappointing Customer Service Experience with HomeAgain Pet Microchip Service

I've been a loyal customer of HomeAgain for over 9 years now, and I have to say, I'm quite disappointed with their service. Despite updating my contact information online every time there's a change, my bill still comes with incorrect information. It's frustrating because my pets mean the world to me, and I want to ensure that they can be easily identified and returned to me if they ever get lost.

I decided to give them a call this year to see what was going on and to confirm what contact information they had on file. Unfortunately, I've been on hold for what seems like an eternity, listening to Muzak for 15 minutes each time. It's not the most pleasant experience, to say the least. And when I finally get through, I'm told to leave my microchip and contact information for a callback, but I've yet to receive one.

It's a shame because I really wanted to like HomeAgain. Their website is easy to use, and I appreciate the peace of mind that comes with having my pets chipped. But if their customer service is this lacking, I'm not sure I can continue to support them. I might have to start looking elsewhere for a better option.

HomeAgain HomeAgain Charged Me Despite Requesting to Withhold Membership Renewal Due to Financial Difficulties

So, I got in touch with HomeAgain on August 17, 2021 to request that they withhold my membership renewal due to financial difficulties. I hadn't turned on auto-renewal, but was informed by their customer service representatives that the pending charges would drop off. In addition, they said that I would receive an email and phone call regarding the matter.

Today, I woke up to an email stating that my membership renewal had gone through, despite specifically telling them not to do so on August 17th. I'm furious about this situation since I had communicated my financial circumstances, and was promised that the renewal wouldn't go through. Furthermore, I explained that I planned to renew the membership in a few months when I was in a better financial position, but they were greedy and took my money anyhow.

This has left me feeling incredibly disappointed, and I hope that they refund my money as soon as possible. If they don't, I'll be left with no option but to report them to the bank for fraud. After all, I had not initiated auto-renewal in the first place.

As a long-time customer, I'm extremely disappointed by this experience, and I'd give them a zero rating if I could. They should take better care of their customers and honor their requests. It's unacceptable to charge people without their consent.

HomeAgain HomeAgain Microchip Review: Don't Waste Your Time or Money

I gotta say, I've been dealing with HomeAgain for a while now and it's been a real headache. I found a cat about a month ago and took it to my vet to get scanned for a microchip. Turns out, the cat was chipped with a HomeAgain chip. So, I called them up to try and get in touch with the owner. And let me tell you, it's been a real struggle.

I've called HomeAgain multiple times, along with my vet, and they just don't seem to care. They never call me back and the information they gave me on the pet was wrong the first two times I called. It wasn't until the third call that they told me they had an update to their system that may have caused the mix-up. But even then, they didn't do anything to help me out.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend anyone chipping their animal with HomeAgain. If you do decide to chip your pet, go with a different company. And whatever you do, don't register your microchip with HomeAgain. They offer absolutely nothing when it comes to helping reunite a pet with its owner. They don't fix incorrect information caused by their system and they don't do anything if the owner doesn't respond. It's like they're completely worthless.

I'm not the only one who feels this way either. If you look at their reviews online, they're pretty terrible. So, if you're thinking about using HomeAgain, I'd think twice. There are plenty of other options out there that are much better.

HomeAgain Beware of HomeAgain Double Billing Scam - My Experience

I’ve been using HomeAgain for about four years now, and unfortunately, I’ve been having some problems with them. They’ve been charging me twice for their services every year! I’ve tried to reach out to their customer service team four years in a row, and every time they told me they would handle it. But to my disappointment, nothing changed- I continue to get double billed. It's really ridiculous at this point!

Just today, I received yet another bill from them for next year, but I don’t think I can trust them anymore. I can't help but wonder, how many other people have experienced this same problem? I think they should be investigated to see if their business practices are up to standard. I mean, what if I had not noticed the double billing? Who knows how much money they would have scammed me out of!

All of this makes me question if my beloved pets were actually being looked after by this company or if it's just all about the money. This situation has caused me to lose trust, and I will not be renewing my subscription with them. I hope that others out there can learn from my experience!

HomeAgain HomeAgain Dog Tag Review: Unreliable Order Fulfillment & Poor Customer Service

So, I was looking to keep my dog safe you know since he keeps running away from time to time, and I stumbled upon this website called HomeAgain (homeagain.com). I thought you know, I'd give it a try. I placed an order for a dog tag on November 29th, 2020. They took the moolah out of my account right away but to my utter dismay, I haven't received the dog tag up until now - January 4th, 2021!

I got so miffed that I decided to call them up on December 29th, 2020, and they blabbered on and on about this and that. They told me that I would receive an email from the Service department, but I NEVER received any email. Now that was just bananas so I called them up again and this time I had to hold the line for so long. Finally, I got a hold of Don from customer service, and he told me that I would receive a refund on my credit card and get a confirmation email ina couple of days.

Let's hope they keep their words because if they don't, I am not going to just sit around twiddling my thumbs! I'll go straight to my bank and report fraudulent activity on my credit card account. I mean, that's just not right, is it?

HomeAgain Is HomeAgain the Right Choice for Your Pet's Microchipping?

So, this thing happened to me that just really grinded my gears. My sweet little Jenny passed away in June of 2021, and as her loving owner, I made sure her membership with HomeAgain was updated to reflect her absence. But lo and behold, come January of 2022, I get a notification that her membership had been renewed! What the heck?! I was so upset and couldn't understand how this could happen. I mean, if HomeAgain can't even keep their internal records straight, how are they going to be any help if my pet actually got lost?

Luckily, I was able to talk to a rep who apologized and confirmed that Jenny's status was indeed marked as "deceased." But still, it just left a really sour taste in my mouth. And it got me thinking about how important it is to research and choose the right company when it comes to microchipping your furry friend.

And that's when I realized that HomeAgain isn't the only option out there. There are plenty of other companies that offer pet microchipping and tracking services. But what sets HomeAgain apart is their extensive network of veterinarians and shelters that they work with. In fact, HomeAgain boasts that their chip has helped reunite over 2 million lost pets with their owners. That's a lot of happy reunions!

But at the end of the day, mistakes can happen, and it's important to be vigilant. Make sure you keep your pet's information up to date, and don't be afraid to double-check with the company to make sure everything is in order. After all, our pets are family, and we want to make sure they're always safe and protected.

HomeAgain Poor customer service and communication from HomeAgain

Hey guys! So, I wanted to give you all an update and my personal experience with HomeAgain. Unfortunately, my beloved dog passed away a few months ago and I was not able to use their services. However, I noticed that they had automatically renewed her annual membership fee, despite the fact that she is no longer with us. I understand that mistakes happen, so I called their customer service number to let them know what had happened and to request a refund. Unfortunately, I had to leave a message as no one answered the phone at that time, which was kind of frustrating.

Now, I know we are all busy and that things take time. I'm always willing to wait a reasonable amount of time for a response, so I waited a couple of weeks without hearing back from them. Unfortunately, I still hadn't gotten a response or even a refund. I called again and had to leave my information once more. It's like no one was there to answer the phone. Honestly, I was just getting really annoyed by this point. I didn't know whom to contact or how to fix the problem.

Finally, I decided to get fancy and left them a direct message on their Instagram account hoping to get some kind of response. Sadly, still nothing. It's been a month or so now and I've had no response or refund.

I find it quite disappointing as they have a good reputation, but the lack of customer service and communication has made me lose trust in the company completely. I mean, if they can’t even communicate well with their customers, how can I trust them to take care of my pets?

As I am not sure who to reach out to, I might just reach out to my credit card company to dispute the charge. So yeah, overall a pretty negative experience dealing with HomeAgain.

HomeAgain HomeAgain customer support is unreliable and frustrating - Look elsewhere for pet services

Customer support is straight-up ridiculous. I was on hold for like, half an hour before I gave up and left them a message. They promised me a callback within two days, but what do you know? Crickets. So I fired off an email to their website, but of course, it's been a week now and I still haven't heard back.

After I called them AGAIN and spent an eternity on hold, I finally talked to someone. But this [censored] spent more time trying to sell me on some new tag or whatever than she did actually helping me renew my subscription. I had to say the same thing, like, six times before she got it.

Honestly, I'm so done with this crap. I'm cancelling my auto-renewal and finding a new service, because who has time for this nonsense? If they can't even handle the easy stuff, how in the world am I supposed to trust them if my dog actually gets lost (heaven forbid)?

In conclusion, HomeAgain's got some serious issues. I'd suggest looking elsewhere if you want a service that actually cares about its customers.

HomeAgain Unethical Auto-Renewal Policy of HomeAgain unacceptable- A Customer's Review

I just started using HomeAgain and I'm a little upset about having to sign up for auto-renewal when I pay online. I know it's a new feature this year but I don't think customers should be forced into auto-renewal. It seems like a scam to me. Plus, once you've put your payment information into the system, you can't remove it online. You have to call customer service and hope they can remove it. And if you do choose to pay by check, it takes 4-6 weeks for the payment to be processed and your account to be renewed. Ridiculous! I really hope HomeAgain changes this because it's irresponsible and unethical.

HomeAgain Is HOME AGAIN Worth the Price for Pet Protection?

Have you ever heard of HOME AGAIN? You might think it is a service to protect your furry friend and reunite you with your pet if they get lost or stolen. However, think twice before paying for it.

Let's start with the basics. What exactly does HOME AGAIN promise to provide? A 1-800 phone number to call if your pet is in an emergency situation, like being run over by a car, and spam coupon emails to your inbox. So, it is not exactly clear how they will help you reunite with your pet.

One of the biggest selling points of HOME AGAIN is the microchip. This tiny device contains your pet's identification information and, when scanned, should provide a way to reunite you with your furry friend. But guess what? If your pet ends up in a shelter, they will scan the microchip anyway, whether or not you are a HOME AGAIN member!

Additionally, animal shelters and human societies have their own protocols for contacting pet owners. If your pet is found, the shelter is required to scan for a microchip and check for any identification tags. They will then first attempt to contact you. If they can't reach you, then they will either hold the pet for a certain period of time to give you a chance to claim them or put them up for adoption. Whether or not you PAY for a monthly fee, the shelter will follow its own protocols and contact you or not as they see fit.

So, at the end of the day, the odds of being reunited with your pet are the same whether or not you pay for HOME AGAIN. The company advertises that paying the monthly fee is the best way to ensure your pet's safety, but the reality is that your pet's safety is already ensured by basic identification measures.

Therefore, before paying for HOME AGAIN, think twice and consider if it's the best option for you and your furry friend.

HomeAgain HomeAgain: Unreliable Microchipping and Recovery Services

Ever since I got involved with HomeAgain, there's been nothing but trouble. I first signed up because the shelter implanted the chip and recommended it to me. But as soon as the 3 free months were up, I contacted HomeAgain and they immediately charged me for a product that I never ordered. I had to call them to reverse the charge, and it was a whole ordeal. To make matters worse, they kept using my dog's wrong name, when I had clearly informed them of his correct name. Eventually, I decided to renew my contract with them for a year.

However, even after paying for the renewal three weeks ago, they keep sending me emails asking me to renew again. I have replied to their emails on multiple occasions and have called them several times, but they don't respond to my emails, and when I do happen to get through to their customer service, I'm left on hold for ages. Recently, when I finally spoke to someone, they sounded unprofessional and couldn't find my payment in their system. It's unnerving to think about what would happen if I needed their services and they couldn't even keep track of my payments!

Honestly, I don't think HomeAgain is a reliable company at all. Their customer service seems to be lacking, and I don't trust them with the safety and security of my beloved pet. I would advise any pet owner to look for other pet microchipping and recovery services that are more trustworthy and customer-friendly.

HomeAgain HomeAgain Microchipping Service Review: A Waste of Time and Money

Yo, so I adopted my dog from the shelter about a year ago, and they talked to me bout this thing called microchipping from HomeAgain to help keep my pup safe in case he ever ran off. I was like, eh, why not, can't hurt right? But now, I'm gettin' this letter in the mail, at an address I ain't even livin' at no more, sayin' they want another 22 bucks for services I never even used or knew 'bout. I was like, what in tarnation is goin' on here? I mean, don't get me wrong, it would be cool if somethin' ever did happen and he got lost or somethin', but now they expectin' me to fork over more cash for somethin' I didn't even know I had? Nah, that ain't right.

So, I decided to give 'em a call and see what was up. I mean, how hard could it be to pay a fee, right? WRONG. I'm sittin' here, at 2:30 on a Friday, tryin' to get ahold of someone for ten whole minutes and no one even picks up the dang phone! Like, seriously? Ain't nobody got time for this mess. If they can't even answer the phone, how am I supposed to trust them with my dog's safety? Plus, I can't even update his name (which I changed when I adopted him), my new address, or even make a payment. What kind of service is this?

Honestly, don't waste your time or money on HomeAgain. It's a bunch of baloney if you ask me. Just stick with old fashioned ways to keep your dog safe, like a sturdy leash or a big ol' fence. Ain't nobody got time for this mess.
