Last year we arrived at our Haven caravan at Caister on sea. Friday 19th May-Friday 26th May. Ref [protected]. We were given the keys to our cravan but when we arrived it had'nt been cleaned. Haven Holidays No reply to my complaint

I have already sent a complaint and no one has replied we stayed at church farm in the 30th of October for four nights we had lorries coming and going day and night we were woken up at all times of the night I asked to be moved the manager said he had no were to move us to that was a lie as we looked on your site on the Saturday and there was still lots of caravans for hire the manager there is useless we were not the only ones to complain I spoke to others we should have been warned that you had trouble on the site or we should have been put some were else I hope you have the decency to at least reply to me we go on a lot of your holidays

Desired outcome: Compensation and for you to do something about the manager there

This is the 3rd time I have complained no one is responding we went to church farm in the 30th of October we had lorries in and out of the site day and night we were awake most of the night on the Tuesday I asked to be moved and the manager said he had no were to move us to such was a lie as we looked on your site on Saturday and there were still caravans for hire the manager is useless there other people complained as well the site should have been closed or we should have been told it moved away from were the lorries were pumping out we holiday with you a lot and I am very disappointed in the picture you can see how near we were

Haven Holidays Church farm

We have just come back from church farm we have had hardly any sleep there we had lorries coming and going all night why didn't any one tell us before we got there that they had a problem and had to get lorries in all the time I did speak to the manger there and say why didn't they tell us before or better still move people away from that area he said he had no were else to put us such was funny as we looked for a caravan for our daughter the day before and there was lots he didn't want to know this is not acceptable as we go with you a lot and are very disappointed at what we had to put up with the lorries were pumping out 20 yards from our caravan and was making a loud noise the lorries in the night were one after the other Mrs G D Frost 54 Broomfield Harlow Essex cm202jz

Haven Holidays dirty caravan

Me and my wife stayed at craig tara on monday the 25th of september 2023,we expected to stay until the 29th of september but we were so digusted with the state of the caravan.the curtains were all ripped cobwebs everywhere over all the light fittings and the vents were glogged with them,the blind was missing from the kitchen window the toilet seat was insecure and the whole place smelled.Iwent to the reception to complainand they told me that they would get the cleaners in,i told them not to bother iwasn't sitting in there with cleaners in in fact i was so disgusted i told them i was leaving in the morning 27/09/23.T he next day i went in to hand the key in and she didn't even say sorry for the state of the van in fact i got the impression she couldn't care less.I have photos but i do not know how to load them i know it was just a cheap holiday but it was all i can afford at the minute if you do need photo's i suppose i could get them to you

Haven Holidays Caravan holiday from 11/9/23 15/9/23 ref num [protected]

We stayed at weymoth bay in a silver grade caravan it was not too standard we paid for the sofas was all stained and in tolet the flush did not work, We did go to reception and ask for a move thay said they was fulley booked they did offer to give it a clen dont think it would of maide a diffrerence'we also paid 35£ for a upgrade for a river veiw and we did not see it.so we ask for are money back its not good enough we drove all that way and did not stay as the caravan was not we paid for and came home .

Haven Holidays Swimming baths at haggerston castle

Me and kids went on our first family holiday last weekend we booked swimming and it was terrible the lifeguards walk around in outdoor shoes the floors were covered in puddles and not once did I see anyone get a brush to move water away lil one fell twice and was walking super slow he also went unde water and lifeguard didn't even notice his sister had to get him and we have came home and I had to take oldest to a and e how whole foot was swelling up and his two little toes were huge he got prescribed antibiotics as he has got athletes foot off your swimming baths off a tiny bit dry skin he picked up infection at your swimming baths we were that discusted with how dirty it was we didn't go to our other booking for swimming while we were there x

Haven Holidays Haven caravan site, Primrose valley

Booked this holiday about seven months ago and couldn’t believe when we got there we were put the lake Lakeside camping part no disrespect I’ve camped all my life and I spent a lot of money on this haven, holiday and also on the activities for my children which one is disabled. Maybe I didn’t understand when that customer service tell me about upgrading to where you want to be. I’ve never heard before Ican’t believe we were segregated from the immunities I never got no help from customer service. I was willing to upgrade, but unfortunately with it being August, they had no availability I have booked many of times with Haven and the Customer Services it was a appalling please can you explain to people in the future that they need to pay extra even though they’ve paid a lot of money for the holiday so they can get closer to the amenities. I think this is a disgrace.

Haven Holidays Dirty caravan and noise

I stopped at presthaven in North wakes

I arrived here on the 14/8/23 at 15:00 but I did not get key till 16:00 as they said it was getting clean. Then when I got the key it was dirty and not as expected. Then they said there is no other caravan to give me then when I unpacked my bags. I was called by receptionist to be told they got me another caravan to find that dirty with hair on the bedding very dirty when I told receptionist they said they will call a cleaner to clean it up. Which they did but now the kids where hungry as we had to move and settle down late we had to get a take away which was more expense which I was going to cook and feed the kids at home but as we she we had to keep moving and wait for keys Time was now 7pm before I fed the kids .

On the night of my stay at 108 denbi there was noise from the train and people shouting at night disturbed all the kids and my self . I have not had a good stay!

Haven Holidays Holiday

We are staying from the 14th to the Friday at greenacres larch Grove number 19. The searts have sand on them the windows are filthy and my son who's 1 just nearly ate what looked to be some kind of animal dropping. We're here because to unsettle them would be difficult. But I would of thought not been able to check in till 4 it would of been clean. High chairs have what looks to be chocolate in then also. We've cleaned it up now all of it but not a good start

Haven Holidays Various issues

To whom it may concern:

I am writing to you to make you aware of the extreme disappointment we experienced while staying with you from the 28/07/2023 to the 04/08/2023 at Thorpe Park. To start with we found on arrival our caravan was satisfactory but not worth the price we paid for it. As the caravan moved as any person moved or turned over in bed throughout the 7 day period. As we don't complain we carried on hoping to enjoy the rest of our holiday.

Also we opened the door to the caravan, we had no complaints regarding the cleanliness. However, I was disappointed with the interior as the settees were grubby and worn. The double bed mattress was solid and gave my wife back ache due to being so hard. My wife had to move into our sons bedroom as the mattress was softer. But as you can understand the beds in this room are for smaller persons so my wife had little room on the bed, and my wife is of normal stature.

On arrival at the entertaining areas we were overwhelmed at the amount of unsupervised teenagers who dominated the all play areas and were kicking footballs in areas where people were trying to relax and enjoy a quiet drink

including ourselves. Parents also were involved in this activity and when i asked a security person about their behaviour they replied that there was not enough security staff to control misbehaviour. Also these teenagers (Chavs) also controlled the activity play ground area by sitting and vaping so that younger people could not use the equipment, i.e. our 12 year old son, he also felt threatened by their present in these areas so could not partake or enjoy any enjoyment time. This carried on through the day and night.

Because our son could not enjoy the free outdoor leisure equipment, he went into the arcade most nights, and in this area we and my son found the staff in the arcade rude, ignorant, unhelpful and blatantly opening machines to move prizes away from any chance of winning, so you had to spend more money. I enquired with one of the staff who replied its companies policy to move prizes and with that walked off. Which i found to be infuriating and unbelievable. Blatantly ensuring customers spend more money with no gains. This includes all the amusement arcade games.

To add injury to insult we took it in turns to be with our son in the amusement arcade and sat in the Coliseum dog friendly bar area towards the middle of the week we found that our dog had been bitten by fleas, also ourselves, whilst sitting in the Coliseum. We had to purchase flea treatment which added extra costs of £60, and have the worry that our dog could have been allergic to the medicine given as our dog has allergies.

We pre booked activities for our son, and one of these was cancelled due to inclement weather conditions, (which is understandable) however we are still awaiting reimbursement for this activity. (The Jump).

Due to our son wanted to go for a bike ride, we hired two adult bikes and one junior for half a day but was charged for a whole day which we didn't notice until we checked our bank statement. The cost should have been £6 each adult bike and £3 for junior as this was an offer on the day, however we have been charged £12 each bike in total £36.00.

Another incident occurred with me when five teenagers (chavs) in the indoor swimming pool, where two of the teenagers with super soakers kept spraying me whilst playing with my son, and water at pressure went into my ear and i responded by telling them to stop spraying the water at me. They continued and i complained to the staff lifeguard, who did nothing, so i moved pools to confront the teenagers as my son started to cry at this point and wanted to leave. Again i said to stop squirting the water where they were just laughing at me, so at this point a staff member called the duty manager who intervened and eventually asked them to leave. All through this incident my son was so distraught that he asked me to leave which spoilt our family activity and also stopped my son from returning to the pool on our holiday.

As parents we were so disappointed that our sons holiday was ruined due to some individuals and lack of staff on site, we tried to redeem our holiday for our son, by booking an extra 3 nights at one of your other sites Golden Sands Mablethorpe, which was another extra cost which we did not expect to spend, but felt we needed to do for his mental health as he had a disappointed and unhappy holiday at Thorpe Park.

Golden Sands staff were much more friendly, no unruling teenagers, and our son stated that we should have booked Golden Sands and he enjoyed the extra three nights...thank god.
