Haven Holidays review: The caravan inside and out

I have visited haven sites 9 times since 2022.
On 8th September I arrived at the presthaven for my bronze standard caravan. I had chosen bronze as my friend and I went to Hopton in May and were impressed by it. This time was a special break as I had paid for it for my friends 60th birthday, so to say I was disappointed was an understatement.
As we pulled up at the caravan the sleepers at the bottom of the steps were not level.
On entering the caravan there were a few single false eyelashes. The seating had lots of stains on it and wasn’t like the bronze one in Hopton. In one of the cupboards were a few new baby nappies. The worst bit was on the outside of the shower which was very dirty on the edges.
I could not believe the difference between bronze caravans on the two sites.
The double bedroom was a lot bigger in Hopton which suited my friend who has a cpap machine so it was a tight fit for her at presthaven. We were impressed so went to see the reception lady at Hopton and explained how the layout of the caravan was for us and she kindly put a note on our booking which one we had and sent it to presthaven.
We thought we had been put in a saver caravan as it was on par with the Devon cliffs one.
I was very disappointed for my friend
as it was supposed to be a lovely holiday.
We have booked a bronze standard in Weymouth in May next year but after this holiday we are considering on cancelling it as we were so disappointed.
