I had the exact same experience with Happy Feet Slippers and Pat. The animal slippers are no longer designed to fit an adult female size 6.5 as are several others. I returned three pairs viz UPS for tracking purposes. After waiting a week for my refund to post I contacted or tried to contact customer service. That was a nightmare and complete waste of time. They only operate Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 4:00pm and then only if they want to via online chat. My return package was not delivered and signed for which I verified in writing and by phone with UPS, yet they still insisted they did not have the package! She actually had the audacity to tell me I wanted Happy Feet Massaging Slippers! My experience with customer service and Pat Yates went on for a total of (16) emails because they do not answer or respond via phone. What a joke! You purchase anything 24/7 but after that you are on you own. It was continuous series of rude and nasty arguments. I wasted a lot of time and had enough so Amex CC dispute took over. Pat continued to send emails which I did not reply to and week later sent another curt email telling me they had refunded my return even though they did not have the package! Ha, still not posted to my CC.
I never received my item
I never received my item. I contacted them but no help was given. Their customer service was appalling. They were rude and seemed to only want to argue that it was not their fault that the item was never received. I am very disappointed and it was a terrible experience. I do not recommend shopping here at all.
I just had the exact same experience. Pat, whether or not you are a good business operator, you should definitely put someone else in charge of customer service. After my package was not delivered, my experience with customer service was abysmal. It was just a series of dismissive, rude, and poorly-written arguments. It took intervention from PayPal to get a refund. Prospective customers, if you really need a pair of these slippers, I would highly recommend paying with PayPal for your own protection.
As the owner of this business I can assure you that there has never been an order that we haven't fulfilled OR refunded. Every company has issues and I am still willing to research and check that this is fixed correctly. IF the person wants to email me at pat@buyhappyfeet.com citing their issue and give me a chance to research I will be that this was addressed.
