Well I was a customer for 3 years. All I have to say is that after you get your new hair and wear it for one month, the hair starts getting very dry and brittle and starts falling out of the hair system. I called and complained many many times. Kelly the manager in New Haven also made me feel like it was my fault. She would always say that I was not using enough of their products. The hair needed to be conditioned and washed with their products only. So I always purchased their conditioner and their shampoos. It did not help. So I called Kelly again to complain. She said that I must have hard water at home and that was causing all the hair to fall out after one months use. Every time I washed the hair I was always afraid to comb it because I would see alot of hair on the brush and comb. She always blammed me not Hair Club's hair. I followed their directions to the T. I also tested my water at home. I did not have hard water so that was not the problem.
They also gave me hair adds in my contract for the entire 3 years that I was a customer. Well suddently after I kept complaing about the hair issues that I was having, they all of a sudden said that they wanted me to sign a couple of forms to verify my name address and account information. Well I had asked if I could take home these forms before signing. Well in that form they changed my entire contract around. They were now going to charge me $190 for all hair adds as well as decrease the number of visits included in my contract and they were taking away one of my new hair systems for which I had already pre paid and had signed a one year contract.
Basically they were trying to amend the contract that I had with them. They were lying to me. They were trying to make me sign something without lettng me read it and not explaining what changes they were making to my contract. They only said I was verifying my name address and account number. Very very sneaky Kelly!!! You are crooked! You are a liar! You are a sneak!
Hair club is horrible do not fall into their trap. I have since left hair club. I am buying my own hair online from China. I was paying $3000 a year at that time with Hair Club. They were going to increase the services to just about $4000. I informed them that I could no longer aford Hair Club and that I was leaving. I thought it was crazy what they were charging me. I was going broke.
I now pay less than $200 for each hair system. It is of high quality. It does not fall out like the cheapo hair systems that hair club provides. And I apply my own hair (I watched hair club apply the hair so many times that I figured out how to do it myself). I go to a hair dresser that cuts my sytems and styles them. She does an awesome job! I am so happy that I am saving tons of money and am rid of Hair Club and the nasty lying cheating Kelly the office manager at Hair Club of New Haven at Long Warf. Good ridence to both Hair Club and Kelly!
