This is my second time using H2H Movers, Inc., and the process was perfect again. From the consultation, to the follow up calls and emails leading up to the move, finally to the day of the move and the clear communication throughout the day. You know exactly what to expect in terms of the service, who you'll be working with, when they will arrive, how long it's estimated to take from beginning to end, and H2H even checks on the move at the mid-point. This second time I worked with Azamat, ***, and *** (who led the move this day). All of the guys were professional, hardworking, and asked questions throughout the day to help plan where things would be placed, how I wanted them arranged, etc. The entire move from my storage to travel to placing the last box in my new space took less than 4 hours. I appreciated this being on a Saturday when there were so many other things to get done this weekend! I highly recommend H2H if you want a worry-free/stress-free move with amazing communication and follow through! I will continue to use this company over and over! Thank you!

When looking for movers, responsiveness, cost, and service all matter. Moving is stressful (I hadn't done it in 10 yrs) and H2H delivered on all of the above. A friend recommended them having used H2H THREE times and I couldn't be more satisfied with how our move (staying within Chicago) went. The quote and confirmation process was seamless--prompt and courteous communication the entire time and they did a great job setting expectations of what I needed to do to be prepared and set the move team up for success. On moving day our crew of 4 was there exactly on time, and our leader did a great job overseeing the disassembly and wrapping of our furniture and more fragile items. The entire time the crew was very courteous (always asking if it was ok to use the restroom) and were troopers in conducting a move in less-than-ideal winter conditions. My only critique or complaint was that they didn't proactively lay out mats to lessen some of the snow and ice being tracked inside but were very responsive to our requests where we wanted them to be careful once coming indoors. Nothing was damaged, their rates are competitive, and using H2H made the experience much less stressful than it could be!

I will absolutely use H2H Movers any time I need to move. I was thoroughly impressed by their timeliness, professionalism, and how swiftly they packed and unpacked all of my things. I got a detailed quote within minutes of requesting one, and within 24 hours I had deposited and confirmed my move date and time. 48 hours before the move, I received a call to confirm the process and go over all of the details, including the increased safety measures in place due to Covid-19. On the day of the move, one of the movers called me to let me know they had finished their previous job early and were available to begin my move early--truly, this has never happened before! We were able to start my move a full hour and a half earlier than the scheduled time. The crew of 3 were incredibly professional and swift, including disassembly and reassembly of all of my furniture. This was the most seamless moving experience I have ever had. All of my furniture was treated with utmost care. I ended up paying exactly what my quote was--not a dollar more. There were no hidden fees, and being able to pay using *** was highly convenient. If you want professional, reliable, timely movers, you should absolutely use H2H.

Moving is a stressful on its own but the truck that arrived from H2H movers wasn't large enough to hold the belonging that I had listed on the survey - and confirmed on the many many phone calls with Julia. The truck that arrived which I had [censored] and hoe spray painted on the side of a plain white logoless van was not large enough for my 1-bedroom 1000 sqft apt. I immediately called the number to reach a person to find a plan on how to proceed. No one answered the phone; when I finally did get a call from the office they said they would discuss with management and get back to me- that also never happened. The main mover did speak to management and they were sending another van to get the remainder of my belongings and it would arrive in 30 mins (30 minutes of waiting I would be paying for) Not only did the second van not hold everything but the movers then put things into a U-haul that I went and rented and also had to pay for. When the move was over I was charged the full quote of the move - and was told someone from management would be contacting me - they never did. Al from quality assurance reached out to ask if I was satisfied with my move when I expressed my dissatisfaction he apologized and offered nothing else and again said someone from management would get back to me. The employees of H2H were all as professional as could be! They addressed all my concerns when I called their customer service line every time I had a question and moved my appointment a couple of times to work better with my building's elevator appt schedule and other things coming up. During the actual move, we had a 2-hour window for the elevator and had everything out of the apartment within an hour, out of the building within another 15 minutes, and off to the new house. They even made it easy for a small fee (really, it was small) to add an extra step to grab a friend's couch they were giving us and they only spent about 10 minutes there to get the couch safely and swiftly into the truck from their 3rd floor walk-up apt. Finally, at the house, we had 3 floors and tight spaces to negotiate. There was *** WAY my husband and I would EVER have gotten the couch from the back door into the living room without damaging lights or walls, but they did it quickly. Unloading everything from the truck only took about an hour, and they reassembled bedframes for all 3 beds we moved in and helped arrange things in every room. We even flipped the configuration in the living room, realizing it was not optimal, before they left. They were happy to do all of this and we were very comfortable right after they left. Also, they did have masks on the entire time and were respectful of our COVID-19 concerns as well as those of our friends and the policies of our old apartment building.Use H2H next time you move!"

We moved from *** to northern ***. This is our third long-distance interstate move, our first with H2H, and by far the best. We selected the option for H2H to pack our things as well, and we opted for the expedited delivery which means our household goods would arrive much quicker and would arrive on the same truck on which items were loaded in *** - no commingling with other households and no transfer of our belongings to and from other moving vans. This added quite a bit to the cost but at the end of the day it was worth every ***. Four man crew arrived promptly at 8 am; they were out and on the road to *** by around 12:30 pm the same day, including a snack break (hint: treat your moving team well with water, snacks and meals to save time) - we had *** and Jersey *** subs and plenty of bottled water and gatorade. There's no way we could have ever packed our things so fast and with same quality and care. We met two of the four movers in *** for unloading, delivery and set-up. They arrived at 9 am two days later - that was our biggest challenge because we had to get to *** as well after spending some time after the packers left to clean our unit, turn in keys and close out our affairs in ***. Timing was tight but we made it to *** via *** Wednesday evening with just enough time to pick up our new keys. Delivery with even just the two guys was efficient and well coordinated. Nothing was broken or missing. One item had a small chip in it - a sharpie fixed it - and that was it. Of the three long distance moves, this was the easiest, smoothest and most hassle-free. No headaches, no heartaches. I would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend H2H.

Make the right move by avoiding H2H Movers! They are the local *** movers you cant trust to take care of your belongings as you move into your new home. Their free estimate will be comprehensive and clear only on the paper and they will walk you through the details so there are many unpleasant surprises are waiting for you at the end of the process.They will promise a competitive price. But in reality, they give you the highest price if you compare it to the others. They promise you'll get high-quality, personal service at the best possible price. But in reality, youll get high-quality damage to your stuff.They promise that their trucks are stocked with moving blankets, packing supplies, and everything else needed to protect your belongings and keep your move efficient. But in reality, they dont bother to cover your stuff with blankets so its guaranteed that your belongings will be damaged. They guarantee that everything is insured but ! they will ask you to buy one more insurance in addition to the one they have in case they break your furniture, or TV, or everything all together. They're so clumsy that they drop your stuff right in front of you.But when time comes to pay for damages, they become blind and deaf. You also, will enjoy communication with ***. He will impatiently command you how quickly you are obliged to agree to their terms because he has not made enough money on your move, and the parking situation in your area is not convenient for him so he must return to his car as soon as possible.Do not trust their statement: - our business was founded on the idea that your move should be easy and stress-free. Based on my personal experience, I highly recommend to avoid this company and find a reliable one you can trust.

I rarely post reviews of businesses (and when I do I generally tend towards positive since most people only comment when they have something negative to say), however... I'll make an exception for H2H Movers.My initial experience was fine. They were friendly and helped me set up my move easily.The day of the move (who were subcontracted by H2H) did an okay job. They broke/damaged quite a lot, but it's a move... it happens. One piece of furniture they damaged very badly they tried to put back together very sloppily leaving exposed screws and nails and rendering it useless (red flag #1). At the end of the day I was presented with a *** that was DOUBLE the initial quote I got. Yes I understand that a quote is not a final invoice, but it should never... NEVER be double when there were no surprises at all on my end.The movers told me they wouldn't leave the property until it was paid in full (a little aggressive, but... whatever). I paid it and called H2H to discuss the wildly inflated invoice (which also included several hundred dollars in packing boxes that were never used). They essentially told me "Too bad, call AMEX".After going back to the former property to clean up I found that the movers had left several rooms and closets FULL though they were shown everything that needed to be moved.H2H sent someone to move this (thank you).We called AMEX to resolve the ***, and they reached out to H2H multiple times and got no reply. After trying unsuccessfully to resolve this WITH H2H, AMEX put ***-back on the charge and only paid the initial quote.After several months of no word H2H sent us to collections having made ZERO attempts to contact us about any issue. We were called, threatened with litigation and bullied, with them making no effort to resolve it with us.The entire issue was resolved within a few hours of us finding out.A completely unprofessional, inappropriate way to handle a situation.

Gearing up for a local move, we called a bunch of moving companies and ultimately settled on H2H Movers, Inc. Primary reasons for considering them were other good reviews, transparent and up-front information regarding pricing, policies, and procedures. Their online system made it easy to update our quote to include items we forgot to mention during the original pricing. Their team followed up several time to make sure all the information was properly conveyed and our questions answered. Just like with everything else, planning pays off. Movers showed up on time, and took us off guard how quickly they started to take stuff out of the apartment! They were SO fast, courteous, and just simply handled everything. There were a few items we had forgot to tape and they just took care of it. We had a few heavy, bulky and fragile items and they properly wrapped and secured all the items and moved them without any issues. Before long, they had the truck properly packed and everything strapped and secured. Expert Tetris players! They requested us to do a double check for any other items we may have missed and got going to the house. They showed up, asked for a quick tour of the rooms and naming conventions for them and just like it had begun, the house quickly filled up with all of our belongings. They double checked and pointed out any problems with locations (one of our dressers we wanted in a closet and pointed out the doors may not close). They also were eager to help move or relocate any items we needed. Best of all, they beat the estimate they had initially informed us about. Tip, well earned. It was like working with a well-oiled machine. Very professional, and very efficient. I can't imagine moving again without using this team. The minute the movers left, we got a call from customer service to ensure everything went well and according to our expectations. I'd say they beat ours in every regard!

My experience with this company has been the worst with any moving company. I have moved several times with larger companies including ABF, trico and others. They arrived too early for my pick up date which I was not even prepared for because I was out of the house picking up some items. They did not give me a 24 hour notice to let my apartment know to reserve the elevator. They arrived late to the drop off and they told me they scouted the area to know the heights and the location, but when they arrived their truck was too large so they were arguing with me to where to park. They took 7 days to move from *** to ***, and they were going to take longer if I have not called to complain about the time length. They broke my entertainment stand which was around $325, the item broke from the truck to the house and they said they dropped it on the lift of the landing. So they were at fault and they havent dont anything about that. They also bent the frame of my DX racer chair which was $410 and is not easy to do so. That was a very sturdy chair I dont know how that happened, unless they stacked something on top of it which shouldnt have happened. There were other damages including a lamp and box damages which is understandable but some of the larger items were It has been about two weeks and no follow up regarding the claim, I have tried emailing since that was the method the claim was sent. *** has been attentive as much as she can but she may have too much of a workload to assist. I would really appreciate if someone would reach out to rectify this situation.They tried to offer me $75 for the damages when they DROPPED my entertainment stand from the moving truck to the apartment unit. And they stated they dropped it As of now I do not recommend these movers. I do enjoy helping out small business because I do work for hospitality, and part of my Jobs is to find the best customer service and product, but I can not say much positives about them.

I used H2H Movers for an interstate move. I used them because of their stellar ComplaintsBoard.com and Yelp ratings. They explained that they're able to provide such excellent moving experiences because they have their own fleet and the movers are employees instead of contractors. On the day of the move, I discovered that they subcontracted my move to two other moving companies! They did not come on time and, in fact, wanted to reschedule my move ON THE DAY OF THE MOVE! It made an already stressful day so much more stressful. Besides this, H2H was largely unavailable to be contacted. I was freaking out, wondering "where are they?" I was calling and emailing and they weren't answering my calls, returning my messages or my emails. It was HORRIBLE! Then, they charged me an additional $900 for a shuttle service when the destination had TWO loading docks for semis. The shuttle service is when they move all of your stuff from a semi to a UHaul so that they can bring it on smaller streets or driveways. My destination had two semi loading docks so this service was completely unnecessary. I told H2H again and again (and spoke with managers at the destination for verification) that I did not need a shuttle service by they insisted. My boxes were crushed, thrown around and broken when they arrived. Grandma's China was broken. Boxes marked with arrows saying "this end up" were upside down or on their sides. Handles were broken off of plastic boxes. Their waiver indicates that they're not responsible for ANY OF THAT. Finally, I asked again and again for an itemized receipt and they would not provide one for me. In the end, they gave me a paper that said, "Moving services $xxx" and did not include the credit card processing fees that they charged to me. They explained that since they were not the recipient of the fee that it wouldn't be on my "receipt." To this day, I don't know what all of my charges were for. There were about four or five charges. They still haven't given me an itemized receipt and have absolutely REFUSED to do so.

Its been 2 months since my move and Ive just finished unpacking and I can actually say EVERYTHING arrived undamaged. I hesitated to leave a review until *** had a chance to go through everything, and didnt realize how lazy *** be about it.Quote process was simple and straight forward. I underestimated what I would need however, if youre doing a *** to *** move its billed by the hour so it is what it is and all moving companies are going to be the same. The rate I was quoted was in line with several other quotes I received. I ultimately decided to use *** because of other reviewers and the fact that it is a female-owned business. For the packing portion, they charge a per box fee. I think it probably came out to be more expensive for this service then some of the other moving services that charge by the hour because the guys were so fast. However, I cant say for certain because Im not sure if anyone else could have been as fast, good, and careful as *** and crew.A few days before the move I was contacted to confirm arrival time, *** procedures, and general details on how the move would go and then again I was given a heads up about an hour before the movers arrived.On the day of the move, the movers arrived about 45 minutes early, and my building is a complete PITA when it comes to moving elevator time slots, but we were able to find a parking spot and they got started with a partial packing. By the time they finished, the elevator was ready for my use and they had broken down the furniture and everything out of a 1-bedroom apartment in just a little over an hour.At the drop off location, they were just as speedy and had everything moved in and furniture reassembled in about 90 minutes. During the move, someone from the company reached out to me to ensure that everything was going smoothly which was a nice touch.The only complaint I have is the payment method. The first 500 dollars they required in *** and the rest I could pay with Venmo/Zelle or they would accept a credit card with a small fee. In 2021, who does business with *** anymore? *** prefer to just be able to Venmo the entire payment and be done with it. That being said, I would highly recommend using ***, will continue to recommend them to my friends, and should I need moving services in the future will come to them first.
