I purchased a 2015 F150 and got the extended warranty from this company. When the transmission failed they denied the claim arguing that a recommended transmission service at 150,000 miles was not performed. However, they received a letter from my mechanic, indicating that the service was never needed. Also, the service is recommended, not required. Those terms are inherently different. They then try to argue that an aftermarket lift kit invalidated their requirement. However, they received correspondence from the repair facility that the transmission failed due to internal components not exterior forces. However, they continue to deny the claim. This company refuses to communicate with you directly and tries every tactic to deny the claim. The warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on. You’re better served to save your money to put towards your inevitable repair rather than continue to make this company, any money.
Claimed loss: Transmission
Desired outcome: They should pick up this claim and pay it as covered under the policy as well as reimburse me the well over $250 cost. I have incurred her rental car while going through this process to still have an unresolved issue and no fixed car.
