The customer support was also excellent, and they promptly resolved any issues I encountered.

To start, downloading and installing Richcopy 360 was simple. The interface is basic but intuitive, giving you options to add source and destination folders and begin file transfers. I added my AWS S3 bucket as the source and an FTP connection to my Linode as the destination. Richcopy 360 allows you to filter files by type, date modified, and other attributes so you can be very specific in what gets copied over.

Once the source and destination were configured, I initiated the transfer. Immediately, Richcopy 360 displayed the progress of the copy including the number of files transferred, the overall progress in terms of size, and the transfer speed. However, Richcopy 360 supports resuming interrupted transfers and re-using the same specifications so if there were any network hiccups, the transfer would simply resume from where it left off.

A few hours into the transfer, I did experience an internet outage for about 30 minutes. As expected, when my connection came back, Richcopy 360 promptly resumed the transfer from the point it had stopped. This auto-resume feature is invaluable when dealing with large transfer jobs that can span days. Outside of that short interruption, the entire transfer from my S3 bucket to Linode completed successfully in few time owing to Richcopy 360’s stable and reliable performance.

Overall, for anyone needing to move a large amount of data between AWS S3 and other storage solutions, I highly recommend Gs Richcopy 360. It has a simple interface, supports very granular file filtering, stable transfer speeds, and most importantly the ability to auto-resume from any point. This makes large transfer jobs feasible, even over spotty internet connections. This small but capable tool perfectly met my needs to migrate data from my S3 storage to my Linode . For basic but consistent file copying between clouds, Gs Richcopy 360 is an excellent choice.

On a personal note, I care a lot about supporting businesses from my own country and I confess to having hoped that RichCopy 360 was made in Canada. Unfortunately, it's not, and that gave me a bit of disappointment.
