GSR Renovations

A BIG NO SHOW. They were gonna build us a Fence 2 weeks ago. Wood Delivered! then nothin. No Contact at all. Voicemail full. Not returnin emails or Texts. DO NOT USE THEM.

I signed a contract with GSR Renovations on May 16, 2022, to have fence posts installed on July 19, 2022. We had regular communication until July 15 when the contractor informed me that there would be a delay of 2 days because of a previous project running behind schedule. However, after that, they stopped responding to my messages and I haven't received any read reports.

Everything started out well with Scott of GSR renovations but then completely fell apart. We contacted Scott at the end of April 2022 and he provided a prompt reply with competitive pricing to dig and set 28 posts for us. Scott and his brother arrived on May 28th on time and prepared for the job. We provided Scott with verbal and written instructions for post spacing and placement. He assured us that he understood and that it was straightforward, he dug 25 of the 28 holes. They left without saying when they would be back and as forecasted a large amount of rain fell in the following days and the holes they dug filled with water and many collapsed in on themselves. Scott and his brother returned the following weekend and assessed the holes. Scott indicated he regretted digging the holes prior to the rain and that "nothing like this has happened to him before". He said he would come by daily to check on the holes and as they dried out he would do sections at a time if he had to. It sounded like he was committed to the job and to fixing the problems that arose due to the weather. Scott never came by to check on the holes (at least not to our knowledge), and communication completely broke down. I sent multiple messages asking when he would be returning, tried calling and leaving voicemails, and posting a direct message on their Instagram. No reply. By the end of June I realized they had officially abandoned the job. We had another company come look at the state of our yard and they let us know the holes were misplaced (not 6 ft on center as we asked) and many were too wide for the 6x6 posts we had. Not only did we lose precious time to build our fence this summer and had to live with our yard in shambles, we now have to find a company willing to take this on.
