This company pretends that they are the best HVAC company in *** . . .Actually they are just schemers to get your business. They gave me a bid on an AC unit that was the highest from 3 estimates I received. I had a service contract with them and scheduled an appointment on my furnace and they claimed I wasn't home and never showed up after we waited for over an hour and several phone calls they never showed up. They claim their service man came and knocked on our door and we weren't home! What a joke. I spoke to the operation manager who swore the tech showed up and no one was home.After he tried to BS me I demanded a refund on my service contract which after some heated back and forth he agreed!Their TV commercials show outstanding customer service don't believe it!

We called Fix-it 24/7 todo a repair on our furnace. we were able to get a apt in a few weeks on Oct 23 between 1 and 5 pm.. They never showed up or called. we waited a few days for them to call, but finally called them today when we never heard from them. We left a message and a lady called back saying she had tried to call us to cancel the apt. We were home all day on the 23rd and did not receive a call. we said if she couldn't get us , our phone has an answering machine..She then told us she left a message. there never was a message left. She also told us they canceled because they were doing more high priority cases, and were too busy to reschedule an apt with us. I believe they were not being honest about leaving any messages, and the customer service was quite awful. I definitely would not recommend this company for any type of service. thank you for allowing me to offer my coments

AC went out during a heat wave, so searched for an HVAC company. Could not find anyone to come out on short notice (a week to several weeks out), so went with fix it 24/7. Kudos to them for the quick service and what appears to do an excellent job on the installation. Having to have the job done immediately, had to sign to waive the 3 day remorse clause (*** law), but fortunately was covered by a two week price match guarantee. After finally getting a couple of companies to come out for estimates, both indicated that we overpaid by $2000. Specifically asked them to match Fix It's equipment and warranty. Calling Fix It, was told by their operator that the salesman would contact me. After not hearing from the sales rep after two calls, the operator said she would have the sales manager contact me. It has now been a month with no contact. Very disappointed that they do not honor their word.

I called to get my furnace cleaned. They came in telling me that I had a gas leak and that my furnace was going to break down because it is old. They gave me an option to get a new system for $1400.00+ system after they told me mine was a hazard because of the gas leak and how it would break down in the middle of winter. I told them I want to wait until mine broke down to purchase a new one and to let me know when they would be back to turn the gas back on. They said they would get back to me. I still have not heard from them and it's been over a week. I called Xcel energy regarding the gas leak and they told me that there is no gas leak and that it was working just fine. They also told me that I don't need a big furnace since I own a condo and that I could get one for under $1000 and just have it installed. I feel like this company was taking advantage of my situation since I am a single mother with kids in the home.

These folks replaced my old *** failing furnace with a new unit. They carefully sized the new furnace to interface better with the existing ductwork, for the most efficient airflow. My existing furnace was a little more complicated than the usual installation, and they handled all the details easily, leaving me with a much cleaner, highly efficient setup. The installers were very respectful, quiet and unobtrusive, stayed as late as necessary to get the job done, and left my furnace area super clean. They took all the time we needed, to explain how the new system works, how to open access panels, how things are laid out inside and out, where the shutoffs are, and how often to check the filter. The only sour note, was that while they were moving the furnaces, the back door screen was wrecked by unusually high winds, but it turned out well, as they came back later with a custom built screen replacement. Overall, an excellent experience!

I called with a furnace drain overflow/ leak at 2:58 am, again at 6:04am, then again at 6:50 and 8:09am. I f I had the presence of mind, I would've called someone else after the 6:04 call. After someone did call me back about 7am to tell me I'd hear from someone within 30/ 45 minutes, I made the 8:09am call. I understand businesses get busy, but I felt I had to chase this one down. I was told both an HVAC tech and plumber would be available to me on Sunday depending on the source of the problem. When the (very kind and capable) HVAC tech, Tavish ***, told me it wasn't an HVAC issue, I was told no plumber was available until Monday. If it's a 24/7 offer, shouldn't there be someone on call for plumbing emergencies on the weekend? My neighbors recommended this place highly. The HVAC tech was knowledgeable and quick. I've signed up for their membership plan hoping that this was a one off and things will only improve. I'll leave another review either way.

Called Fix it 24/7 because I was having issues with my furnace overheating and shutting off. The technician came out and advised I either replace the entire furnace and AC or purchase a new circuit board and blower motor for my 17 year old system for $3k! Left with little choice I went with the "cheaper" repair. The next day after spending all that money the problem was not in any way fixed. Frustrated and with no heat with a winter storm on its way I called another service to come actually fix the problem. When I called and asked to speak to a manager about a refund of the circuit board and blower motor I was out $3k on I was told managers "were in meetings" over the course of 24 hours until I was finally called back only to be told that the brand new parts are "useless to them" and my issue was with *** Fargo (the financier) now. This has left me with a financial burden that will take years to repay and some furnace parts I have no use for. Nightmare of an experience.

We recently became aware of Fix-it 24/7 this past November. In an effort to reach out a previous company, we learned that they were acquired by Fix-it 24/7. So our approach to this company was one of rebuilding a new relationship. Today, our family benefitted from the care and support of *** with Fix-It 24/7. He was very timely, respectful, professional, very knowledgeable, and personable. He helped to identify and Fix issues with our system same day. Without any pressure he helped us to be well-informed regarding all choices available to us. Even being a team player for our best interests, by reaching out to our team mates to offer their insights when needed. He took all the time that was needed to resolve our immediate issue and spent time cleaning up! We appreciate the excellent service. All Techs and Master techs so far with Fix-It 24/7 have been similarly respectful and knowledgeable. Due to this quality of the organization, we would recommend Fix-It 24/7 to others needing their varied services.

It's extremely refreshing to have a company like Fix-it 24/7 come out and explain to me the fundamentals of my HVAC unit, and where areas of improvement could be placed. I recently had David come out and assess my humidifier needs and then explain to me what my options where, and most importantly, what would have been overkill for the size of my house. His honestly was great appreciated! He also took the time to explain to me some of the science behind humidity, which I was very humbled to learn that what I thought I knew was barely skimming the surface. The next day, Ronald *** came out to my house and walked me through the installation. He clearly explained what was going to happen, and that he would walk me through everything when he was done. He installed everything neatly, explained how it all works, and even voluntarily helped me clean out some of the trash area around my unit. Great service and even better person! Lastly, the member program that Fix-it 24/7 has is almost too good to be true. All home owners should seriously look into this! Happy to be a reference should anyone have any questions about this company!

This business took over ***. We initially paid them to turn up our evaporative cooler in the spring along with paying them to turn down the cooler this Fall. I contacted the new business (FIX-IT) in early September to have them turn down the cooler and they gave me a window of 1-5PM on September 28th for them to come out and do this work. They didn't show up or call on the afternoon of the 28th. I finally called them and they said they couldn't get to it after we waited all afternoon for them to show up. They set a new date of October 14th and gave me a window of 8AM-12PM and told me I would be their first visit on that day. At 10AM they hadn't shown up or called so I called them and they told me our service man was on another job and instead of telling me they would be out by 12PM they only agreed to have someone call me by 12PM but couldn't tell me when they would actually do the work. Someone finally showed up to do the work after 12PM. I think that because they already had our payment we were placed low priority on their work list. This is not the same service I got from *** over the years before FIT-IT took over.

I had Fix-it 23/7 from *** come out to my home and service the furnace and they told me my furnace blower moter was leaking oil from the bearings and needed replaced. The furnace is less then 3 years old and the parts are still under warrenty. The cost to install the free new moter from Trane was $480 which was high to me. Before having the still functioning moter replaced I wanted to see how much a new furnace would cost as Fix-it was telling me my current furnace was way under size for my orginal house before my basement was finished. I did believe that the furance was undersized after my basement was finished but not by as much as Fit-it was telling me. I scheduled a cost estimate for a new furnace with Fix-it for the next day betwixt 10 and noon. At 11:30 they called me saying they were runing late and would be there between noon and 2pm. They were a no show and no phone call. I called them and asked to talk with a manager but none were available. They told me someone could now be at my home in an hour. I said no thank you. If Fix-it can't keep two appointments why would I have them replace my furance? After thinking about the service they perforned on my furnace which was supposed to be a cleaning and systems check I wounded how they could perform a cleaning and not vacuum any part of the furance off. At this point I question if the blower moter is bad or not as it is still working now.

This company is AWFUL! Stay away! Not only are they not responsive, but they charge almost 3x what other local technicians would charge for the same work and materials. We joined their "Green club" membership, because we were told (lied to) that we would then receive priority service as "preferred members," however, when we actually did have an emergency, we were informed that their technicians were out on other calls and it would need to wait until the following morning, when we would be the first client on the list. We were not, and we waited ALL day but without any service or communication. This was not the first time that this had happened. In fact, I counted six times that we had a scheduled technician for their four hour windows, who either did not show up, canceled, or was severely delayed. They have horrible communication, horrible customer service, and it is nearly impossible to get a supervisor or manager on the phone. I have called twelve times over the last week to ask for a call back from a manager or supervisor, yet every time I speak to a customer service representative, they are always apologetic and proclaim that they will take notes and get this to someone in charge and label it as high priority, however, days later after no communication from them, I call back again. I am not sure how this company received such high scores and reviews, but I'm starting to think that it is fake and that they have employees or other people being paid to leave strong reviews, because all we have had is terrible experiences over the last six months. I would STRONGLY suggest anyone thinking about using Fix It 24/7 or their services, to reconsider and to look elsewhere, even use Home Advisor for local technicians. You'll save a lot of money, time, and aggravation.

Beware of deception from Fix-It 24/7 commission-compensated repair technicians! A HVAC technician said on 11/29 that the cost to replace my ~20 year old two-stage furnace was about $15K. That is a scary number which I now know is grossly inflated. That estimate induced me to approve a $1,825.50 repair. He did not run a simple combustion analysis which would have indicated whether the furnace heat exchanger was about to fail.Another company, with a ComplaintsBoard.com A+ rating, ran a combustion analysis on 4/18/22 and confirmed my heat exchanger was about to fail. That company provided an estimate of $5,676 to provide and install a new two-stage furnace, which is $9,324 less than what Fix-It told me a replacement would cost.Fix-It 24/7 subsequently provided an estimate to replace my furnace and provided a four-day window where they would deduct the $1,825.50. But their estimate was a whopping $12,678! Deducting the $1,825.50 my cost would have been $10,825.50. That is still $5,176.50 more than the other HVAC company for a comparable furnace. Why pay almost twice the price?My attempts to informally resolve this with the Fix-It 24/7 , was a waste of time. He wrote in part, There are somethings [sic] in your description of events that *** true [sic]. Many are false. When I asked what he thought was false, he would not reply. The *** did not dispute that his HVAC expert provided a fraudulent and deceptive $15K estimate to replace my furnace. But Fix-It 24/7 has not taken responsibility for their dishonest tactics.Relying on the Fix-It 24/7 technicians clear and unambiguous representation that a new furnace would cost ~$15K, I wasted $1,825.50 on an unnecessary repair when I should have invested that money in a replacement furnace. I then learned that a substantial portion of a Fix-It 24/7 technicians income is commission-based. That is a lethal combination for vulnerable consumers.If Fix-It 24/7 did this to me, why would they not do it to you?
