I traded in my 2017 Kia sorento for 2018 Nissan Pathfinder. I took it home on 12/12/23 and two days later went to my local Nissan dealership to have it inspected. I found out it had a open recall, it needs a new cabin filter, drive belt, and left wheel bearing. Also needs a right wheel alignment. I emailed/ text the salesman and he told me to call their services department to get fix through them at no charge. Well I did and got hung up on when I told him that the car was at my local Nissan getting fix. Than he called me back told him everything and he told me to bring the car to him December 27th cause they r booked to than. First off the wheel bearing can fall off and the drive belt can break and on top of it I can get seriously hurt or in a accident. Plus it a 1hr and 10mins to ride back to them. They would make me wait there to get my car fix cause they don’t give out loaners.
Claimed loss: I had my local Nissan fix the recall which they didn’t charge. Than I asked them what should be fix first and so on. For all the fixes would be $1,288.77.
Desired outcome: My desire out I would like a refund for the fix and would like to return the car to get my original car back.
