Loaded up the app to attend an industry webinar. Heard 10 seconds of the webinar and then it crashed. Reloaded the app, 3 seconds and then it crashed. Rebooted my phone and re logged in. 2 seconds and it crashed. Verified good data signal (4 bars LTE on Verizon and did a data speed test). Reloaded the app, logged in, crashed again at 2 seconds.
Easily the worst app for teleconference I've encountered.
I now know which app I will encourage us to not use if we ever decide to leave Skype.

I sat in an important webinar that I would normally have to jump onto a PC. This allowed me to run errands and pause anywhere to jump on with my phone or tablet, without having to run home or to the office. Simple to use the presenter sends email confirmation and a calendar date. The app connects to your calendar and shows a upcoming presentation time. It even gives a count down to the time of the presentation so you know how many days until it. I didn't need a login and as a attendee that's huge deal.

I joined as an organizer using this app and it worked fairly well. I was able to switch presenters which was cool. The only feature I missed is the ability to monitor and respond to attendee questions. While it doesn’t make sense if you’re the presenter, when we use this for webinars in listen-only mode, we always have another organizer monitoring questions and posing them to the presenters. This avoids the clumsy or awkward moments when a presenter is trying to talk and sift through questions at the same time.

First time I’ve tried this app (for an aviation safety Webinar) and it was the easiest I’ve seen; to log in and connect to whatever webinar one is lookin for is easy even for technologically challenged people like myself. Extremely user friendly so that one can ask questions and be answered quickly, vote on a poll, comment via text, video or microphone, etc. One can be as involved as they choose. This app is very nice and simple, yet effective and efficient! Great app. (And for what it’s worth, I don’t rate things 5 stars often).

I am writing this because I do not have an account at Logmein to post an issue - there is a problem with the audio using the app on an iPad.

When using on an iPad I can not turn off the audio; I have tried turning down the audio no until the speakers are off using the control center and the physical audio buttons - but the audio still comes out the speakers.

I have turned off all accesses and privileges - still audio out of speakers.

I have closed all apps but GTW and tried the above - still audio.

The only way to mute the audio is to disconnect from the internet audio. The GTW sound / audio seems to bypass all iPad controls.

This is by far the easiest and most reliable webinar platform for the daily COVID-19 briefing in my state health district. No problem with audio, visual, muting, and no need for complicated password IDs—all come from the invitation and allow a one-click link access on my iPhone. I can easily see the slides, watch the speakers talk, and text questions. This makes the meeting shorter without unnecessary noise from people who forget to mute themselves, and prevents the annoying access issues from mistyping an access code by mistake. I find it better than the Webex application used by my state medical association, which requires entering a meeting ID and a password even with a link, is often unreliable, with sound cutting out, complicated, and unusable on my iPhone from links, due to download requirements which are not compatible with the iPhone.

App is very clean and easy to use. I gave it a four star because: Hand raising doesn't do anything. If hand raising allowed the organizer/speaker to unmute you specifically so you could ask a question, it would make sense. Also, it would be great to be able to minimize the screen like YouTube on the IPad so you can simultaneously take notes while in the webinar on the same device. Also, for some reason, typing on the chat box is a little buggy and it's difficult to change your text without using backspace. Also, there is a bug while giving feedback where it said my internet connection isn't good and wouldn't let me post. It then removed the send button. Also, there is no way to provide feedback directly on the app, like through settings nor through your website. Sorry for posting this publicly, but I couldn't easily find another way! Problems sharing video on GoToWebinar, the video was uploaded to GTW

If someone joins after the video started the video always starts in the beginning for them and not synchronized with the organizer’s computer.
If someone disconnects and connects again, the video starts again in the beginning for them
If someone is on a cell phone, IOS or Android, when the video starts the volume drops down, hardly audible. If they change the sound settings by clicking on ‘Disconnect from audio’, then the volume comes back to normal. That is strange.
When they are changing the settings to disconnect the audio, sometimes the video stops and they cannot start it again. They disconnect and connect again, then the video starts again from the beginning.
If the organizer pauses the video for just a moment and then restarts it, then the video stream of the attendees synchronizes with the organizer. It means it jumps ahead to where the organizers video is. But the organizer cannot pause the video every time a new attendee gets in while a video is being shared.
These problems make the app NOT useful while attending a webinar where the most important part is a shared video. And nowadays most people are using cellphones. So it’s really important that GoToWebinar solves this problem.
For regular webinars with a speaker it works ok.

I just finished up participating in a Webinar for Using Google to Grow Your Business, where there were a lot of attendees from all over the US. We were able to see the presentation PowerPoint a style slides easily and the presenter was able to navigate on-screen and off-screen quickly and fluidly. The sound was excellent! I liked that we were able to “raise our hand” virtually, and maintain privacy, in order to respond in real time to poles or ask a question that the presenter could read instantly and then answer quickly, while we on a specific topic. A way to intervene or interrupt silently! Also, we used the “question” tab to make our comments and ask questions. We used this v.s. The chat tab so that if someone wanted to make a comment that was specific to the presenter, and remain anonymous, they could freely ask or comment and the presenter then had the option To read the question or comment out loud or keep it to themselves to approach the participant separately another time, or proceed with speaking it out loud to the group. This encourages people who may feel their question is “silly” or “dumb”, and they may be shy to ask, so this allows a way for those situations to be able to be included and/ or resolved. There was a lot more participation all around, I felt, then when on other live stream group meeting platforms. I would recommend for sure because it’s st up easy to install, log into a scheduled webinar, participate and utilize, and has good picture and sound quality. Perfection!

I have to watch webinars more than once in order to "get it". I miss hearing things, tend to space out during lectures, and need to really listen to things so that I know what I thought I heard. Also, sometimes they are presented when I'm at work and I am not able to attend even though I have registered for it. Please allow us to record and download webinars.

Decent software I have used for years are produced by this products company.
Frustrated I am unable to access a webinar I am missing Video now because app required most recent iOS, so only able to call and listen.
I HAVE Previously been a big FAN of GoTo...apps yet, you guys gotta be more user friendly! Very disappointed today!
Recently Zoom has been much easier

Why does the App Store offer an older version of the app for iOS 9 just to prompt me to update when it starts? If it's worthless anyway, remove the older versions from the App Store and don't mislead me. Better yet, support older devices! Many teachers and students use older devices supplied by their schools. I know mine won't upgrade just so I can use this one stupid app.

When I tried to use this app to chat with my fellow students for a school presentation, I was horrified to discover that there is no way to chat with other people outside of using the question box. It was INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING since I have a chat option in Zoom. If I can chat using my laptop, then there should be a way to chat on my iPad/iPhone, especially if the meeting is set up for attendees to chat amongst themselves.

On android, when you have to exit and then re-enter, the screen says “webinar in progress” and then goes to the exact place of the “live” playing webinar where “in progress” is located. On iPad, it plays FROM THE BEGINNING and has no way to advance to current “live” location!

I called GoToWebinar support, gave webinar ID and she said, “Oh, there is a glitch in the iPad version. It only plays from the beginning.”

That isn’t exactly “working”, is it? PLEASE FIX THIS!

iOS 12.1 breaks the app.

App is a pain, and now it crashes on an iPad Pro with iOS12.

This app requires password entry every 24 hours. A major pain.

I wasn’t able to join to meeting because app crashes all the time.

Keep getting an error message saying that the app “has encountered and unexpected error.”

During full screen, iOS top bar remains visible (I.e. battery, cell strength, time, etc).

Trying to download and register for a webinar but every time I open the app it immediately crashes

Apparently you can download, sign in but it's a mystery as to how to SET up a webinar! Frustrating

Tried to use this but didn't have a webinar number even though I signed up on a specific page. Tried to watch daughter in law in South Africa and it didn't work.

Asking me for a UserID and password, but I see no place to register them. Why is this so difficult ? Missed the webinar. Now asking me for a Nickname to post this review and the first 4 I enter are taken. Who has time to play around with this ?

Latest update urges going to iOS 11. That is impossible for an ipad4. Apple has frozen that model at iOS 10.3.3. Going out and buying a new iPad just to attend occasional meeting is not a viable choice.

Poor support of users if you won't support all of us.

I just attended my first webinar using my cell phone. The audio was perfect, but the screen was TERRIBLE. The screen kept turning off even while I was actively typing and pushing buttons. I don’t see anyone else complaining about this, so I hope if I have to use this app in the future I will not have the same problem.
