I had a GE washer and dryer installed in my house on December 22nd. Unfortunately, on December 23rd, I discovered a water leak in my finished basement. After calling a plumber, it was determined that the installers from Ellyn Moving and Storage had cross-threaded a connection to the water hose going to the washer, resulting in the rubber washer being cut and causing the leak.

When I reached out to the claims person at this company, whose name is missing, I was disappointed by their response. They seemed disinterested and barely gave me the time of day. Instead of taking responsibility for the issue, they simply told me to contact my insurance company. Dealing with this problem has been a major inconvenience, especially during the holidays and beyond.

Mayflower in Glen Ellyn provided excellent assistance with my move and storage of furniture during our home renovation. They handled the removal and replacement of all pieces, including a valuable vintage piano and antique dining table, with great care. Although there was a last-minute change in the date to move the furniture back into the house, they were able to accommodate us without any problems. I am extremely satisfied with their service and will definitely rely on them for all my future moving needs.

We relocated from Illinois to Arizona and stored our belongings with a local storage company for a month. Unfortunately, when our furniture was delivered, the majority of it was damaged. Initially, I was informed that my items would be loaded into vaults at my home, but this did not happen. During storage, the moving blankets were taken away by the storage company's crew, leaving our items unprotected. Due to a two-week delay in delivery, our belongings were left sitting on the warehouse floor without any proper care. The driver from the moving company had to rewrap my items, which likely contributed to the lack of care given. Additionally, since my load was the second half of a truck load, I ended up with two separate deliveries. Unfortunately, the second delivery had even more damage than the first. To make matters worse, the delivery team pointed out a discrepancy on my bill of lading. Every piece of furniture was coded as damaged, stained, worn, or scratched, and my brand new heavy-duty moving boxes were listed as crushed. It seems that they are aware that it is difficult to prove which crew caused the damage, so they do not take proper care. Furthermore, dealing with the insurance purchased from the moving company, ***, has been a nightmare. It has been five months since my move, and every time I call for assistance, I am given the runaround.
