I've been with Get A Tax Lawyer.com LLC for 11 months now, and I must say, they have some really competent and professional staff. However, there seems to be some internal chaos and mismanagement that can cause things to slip through the cracks. I'm still in the dark about what's happening with my case. Let's talk about two points: the caliber of the employees (5 STARS) and my overall experience with the firm (THREE STARS, maybe more once I have more clarity on my case status).

I hired Get A Tax Lawyer.com LLC to help me with my tax issues as a self-employed real estate worker. I was drowning in collections notices and feeling completely lost. Ryan H did a fantastic job of explaining that my situation wasn't as bad as I thought and gave me hope for a resolution with the IRS. He was knowledgeable and provided concrete answers to all my questions. Ryan even assured me that if they couldn't help, I would get a full refund. It felt like a no-risk situation, so I decided to give it a shot.

Working with Get A Tax Lawyer.com LLC was no walk in the park. I had 5 years of taxes to do, and it was a lot of work. They wanted to be thorough, and so did I. I had to dig up files, go through my records, and create 5 years of Profit and Loss statements. It was intense, going through each statement line by line, reliving the story of my life. It was stressful, sad, and time-consuming.

Ryan monitored my progress for a few months, and then I was transferred to Monkela D. She was just as talented, responsive, and helpful as Ryan. Whenever I had a concern, she was there to listen and provide a solution. After completing all the necessary paperwork, Get A Tax Lawyer.com LLC created official files to be sent to the IRS on my behalf. But this is where things started to get murky.

The tax documents they created were like hieroglyphics to me. I needed professional guidance to understand them and make sure my situation was accurately represented. I spent days and weeks trying to review and understand the files, but eventually, I gave up and reached out to Get A Tax Lawyer.com LLC for help. Unfortunately, my emails went unanswered, and I was left in the dark.

As the October 15th deadline approached, I started to panic. I didn't want to miss the tax submission date, but I still had no idea what was happening with my case. I sent an email expressing my concerns and reminding them that my address had changed, but I received no response. I signed everything and asked them to send it to the IRS, even though I didn't fully understand what I was authorizing.

That's when I connected with David B. Let me tell you, David is the best. He's so talented, kind, and capable. He made me feel like a VIP and helped me navigate through all the chaos and misery. He even managed to push my file through at the last minute on October 15th. David truly saved the day.

But even though David was amazing, he couldn't give me the answers I needed to feel at ease. I still don't know the status of my case, how much income I'm claiming, or what my tax liability might be. It's a complete mystery to me.

Overall, Get A Tax Lawyer.com LLC has some great employees, but there are definitely some communication and organizational issues that need to be addressed. I hope to have more clarity on my case soon, and maybe then I can give them a higher rating.

I gave Get A Tax Lawyer.com LLC $3,500 to do my taxes, but they didn't file them for the right year. They don't respond to calls or emails once they have your money. They claim I owe more taxes than what the *** says I owe. Once I paid them, they disappeared and I never heard from them again.

I asked for help and they got in touch with me, requesting all my tax papers. I sent them three years' worth of info. We stayed in touch and on August 10, they said they were working on my return. On August 12, I sent an email, but it bounced back saying the account was deleted. I tried calling, but the line was disconnected. They're a scam.

My request for case updates have been ongoing for at least three months now. *** asked for case status repeatedly by phone and email. I never received an email response. When I call, *** told my case worker will call me later and they never do.

I needed assistance with an IRS audit, so I reached out to Get A Tax Lawyer.com LLC. I spoke to someone named ***, who assured me they could help. I paid them $500 in August . It was always a struggle to get in touch with them for updates. After 5 months, they informed me that there was a misunderstanding about the fee, and I had to pay an additional $1000. Since December , I haven't received a single phone call. I've called numerous times, but I can never speak to anyone. They always promise that *** will call me back within 24 to 48 hours, but I haven't heard from anyone yet.

On 4/5, I reached out to this service thinking they were a legit law firm. They sent me some papers to fill out and asked for a partial payment upfront, with the other half due later when they dealt with my case. But as time went on, I hardly heard anything from them. And now, I can't seem to get in touch with anyone. Some of the phone numbers I tried are even disconnected. The last thing they asked for were my bank statements. Before they could receive them, those papers were sent back to me in a different envelope, like they were being reviewed. From what I could tell, I've called their numbers multiple times and never got through to anyone or received any response after leaving several messages.

These guys are scammers who say they can help you with taxes and tax problems. The "boss" goes on a big radio show to sell stuff. They don't have enough workers to handle all the dumb people who listen to him. They bug you for money upfront and then ignore your calls and do nothing. I told them I needed my taxes done before the deadline, but they never paid attention and kept asking for stuff I didn't have because the taxes had to be done first. I had to hire someone else to do it. I've been asking for my money back for months, but they keep giving me the runaround. They won't give me my money back. Their address is now ***. One of their phone numbers is ***.

On July 11, 2022, I contacted GATL to help with tax debt relief, setting up a business LLC, and tax advice for 2023. After paying an initial $500.00 and an additional $1750.00 under the direction of *** and ***, I never heard from any staff at GATL after paying for services. My calls and inquiries were not returned, and texts and emails were ignored. I then contacted the owner of GATL, ***, who referred me to the office compliance officer ***. After a week, *** also stopped calling, ignored my calls, and then referred me to two case workers, *** and ***, who had no info on my case. As of 11/08/2022, I have had no info, no movement, and no resolution of my tax case. I have dealt with both my state and federal tax debt on my own with no info, direction, or support from GATL. I respectfully requested a refund by contacting *** on 11/02/2022 and *** on 10/21/2022 and 10/25/2022. Neither has responded to my request.

I signed an agreement with GATL in early July, and have currently paid out over 2000$ to them to advocate for me to repair current and previous tax issues. At first communications were good with me receiving a call at least once a week. Document requests were given to me with a deadline, and as the deadline approached I had some questions about some document substitutions and legal matters regarding those. All the sudden they have become totally unreachable. Of the 4 or 5 different numbers I've found for calling them not one gets me through to a human or even a voicemail option. One email I sent returned an auto-reply, which I replied to with my concerns, with no further reply. Have they closed up shop? To add to the strangeness, this month their auto-payment from me to them didn't get withdrawn. Which is just as well I guess since at the beginning of their agreement one of their reps directed me to stop my auto-payments to the *** 'immediately' which I did, trusting them to be following through with their promises to contact the *** in my stead to re-file a 2014 return, etc. Then in the last week I've received a failure to pay notice from the ***. So, subsequently, since *** hasn't collected their payment from me, and obviously isn't working on my case, that money instead went to the ***, since it seems I'm on my own, now with a looming deadline from the ***, (Oct. 15 extension deadline) quite likely too short a time to find another tax help person, not that I could afford one now after draining my savings and giving it to this fraudulent company. What I need is for them to finish the job, or at the very least a total refund.

I hired Get A Tax Lawyer.com LLC for tax prep and paid them $1250 upfront on April 5th, 2022. The guy I talked to, ***, said he was filing tax extensions for me. I sent my tax docs on April 25th, and *** gave me an estimate that my return would be filed by the end of May. In mid-May, I called *** to check on the status, and he said they were super busy but would update me. May came and went with no action, and I called and emailed *** every 1-2 weeks. Most of the time, I got ignored or he said he'd check with the tax prep team and get back to me. Finally, on June 21st, I got a voicemail from *** at ***, saying they hadn't received my docs. *** never passed them on. I replied and resent the secure link on the same day, June 21st. I told *** to call me for the password. On June 24th, *** called and asked for the password. Then on July 1st, *** called me and said they were having trouble with the link. It was clear they hadn't even tried to access it until then. I gave them an updated link, and *** downloaded the files. They said the case manager would be in touch in a day or two. After waiting for days with no contact, I called again. This happened a few times, and finally, on July 14th, the case manager, ***, reached out to me. They told me that no extensions were filed for my federal or *** state taxes. So now I'm considered delinquent, and because there was no extension filed, I can't get a $1500 tax rebate from ***: https://tax.***.gov/cash-back.

I signed a contract on 11/28 for this company to complete and offer in compromise for my tax debt. They told me to stop my automatic payments for my prior tax debt right away. I financed their fees ($5350) through a third party financial institution they are tied to. In April 2022, they called me and said a payment plan was arranged on my behalf for $2 more than what I had been paying, even though I already had a payment plan in place, which they told me to stop paying on. I told them I hired them for an offer in compromise. They collected documents and bank records from me on 4 different occasions. Finally, someone called me in June and said they would handle my account since it had been so long without any progress. They asked for more documentation and told me my *** compromise would be submitted. I did everything they asked and filed my tax return by July 15, 2022. I had additional tax debt to settle into the offer and they agreed to accept an overpayment I had made for amendments they couldn't complete ($1050), but I never got a refund for it. (I had been asking for a refund for 6 months by then.) I emailed every week and hardly ever got a response. Finally, in August, after multiple emails, they told me the case worker was no longer working there and a new case manager would contact me. I called and left several messages every few days and they told me multiple times that I would get a "scheduled call." Nobody ever called. At the end of September, I asked for a cancellation/refund. Since then, they have told me several times that I would get a call from different people, including managers. But I haven't received a single call. I keep leaving several messages a week. They tell me to give them *** hours and then I have to call back because I haven't heard from anyone. I've left countless messages with no response.

I contacted GATL on Tuesday April 12th and spoke to ***. He took my info to start filing taxes. I paid $650 that day. I got docs to sign and instructions on what to collect for tax info. *** said a tax team would email me for my docs. On April 13th, I emailed *** to say I didn't get the email for sending my docs. On April 14th, he said he'd check. That's the last contact I had with ***. On April 15th, I emailed *** saying I started my own taxes since no one contacted me. I asked for updates or a refund. On April 18th, I called GATL's main line about the lack of communication. I was sent to *** voice mail. I called again and said I tried contacting *** multiple times. I was then sent to customer service, but the line went silent and said the voice-mail was too long. I called again and got to customer service right away. I called again and was accused of harassing them. I explained the voice-mail issue and asked for the direct number to customer service. I didn't get a number, but they said someone would call back in 24-48 hours. *** tried calling, but didn't leave a message and the phone rang briefly. I emailed *** on April 22nd and April 28th. I also tried contacting ***. I used these emails
