Heed the warnings of other "1" Star reviewers on this site. Gadget Pickup will take your "mint" phone, offer great price & then "screw you over" on a counter-offer @ lower price. I sent an excellent condition iPhone that was encased and screen protected from day-1 (e.g. flawless) w/ fully charged battery. They responded with a discounted price ($100 less than offer) indicating they rated it "fair." Total BS, unless they were counting dust particles on screen from shipping. Be wary - they aren't what their internet ratings make them out to be...

I had to send it a few days later due to illness but once they got my old phone, they sent me an email stating they would verify/approve payout within a couple days; it turned out to be about a day of waiting. I'm glad I chose this company!

Such a bad experience. GadgetPickup should fix the questionnaire when people submit a trade-in to avoid bad reviews. GadgetPickupshould have a 1-2-3 section similar to PLEASE SELECT THE PHONE'S CARRIER, IS YOUR PHONE BLACKLISTED, ACTIVATION LOCKED or FINANCED? YES or NO instead of having to click on it tosee the information which can be easily overlooked. Battery capacity? That question should be there too. Phone is flawless but if the battery is 94 percent, then phone is good not flawless. If the right questions are asked, people like me won't continue with the trade-in unless that's whatGadgetPickup islookingfor. Send the phone and then deal with the price reduction. Not cool.

In completing the required form for sending in my device, I noted the condition of my phone was "excellent," since there were absolutely no scratches on the screen or anywhere else. I even took pictures of the phone and how carefully I packed it for shipping (in its original box). When the phone was received at the facility, I was surprised to get an email stating they couldn't offer me anywhere close to what was quoted mainly because the phone had scratches on it. I asked to see evidence of this and they sent a video verifying the serial number and showing random scratches on the screen and also tons of deep scratches all around the charging port. This was done so deliberately - I don't even know how that would happen with "normal" wear and tear. But absolutely none of this damage was there before. I couldn't even believe they had done this and it was very upsetting. I'd read only good reviews and the A rating with ComplaintsBoard.com. I felt had no real choice but to take what little they could give me for it, since if they sent it back I'm just left with a scratched up phone.
