About a year ago, i noticed that i was being charged a monthly non-activity fee that could be avoided if i had some activity during the month. Well, the very upsetting part was that my account was locked and i could not make any moves, so they kept charging me the non-activity fee (which i think is wrong). there was also a message on the home page stating that they could no longer do business and i had to remove my funds, but i couldn't, it was locked.
i contacted them, and after about a hundred emails going back and forth on me identifying myself (eg.. self portraits, records of transactions, prove of phone ownership...) they requested a TEAMS call. in the request for the TEAMS call, they explicitly stated that they would request a photo ID and video conference so that i could share my screen. i was very hesitant to do this as i felt that i was getting scammed and that allowing my screen to be shared was a red flag and would be the final shafting. i thought about and practiced what i would show and not show and agreed to the call. it took about four or five attempts to align the meeting. when we did meet, they asked me if i took responsibility for my account, where i transfered the funds from, share screen as i logged into the the freewallet account , username on the screen, and the transactions showing transfer from my previous wallet to freewallet. the then told me he would discuss findings with his team and get back with me, the next day i recieved email stating that my funds were available, so i transfered everthing out freewallet to another cold storage account. i really thing they need to refund me my non-activity charges
Thanks for the response, I guess my point is that if you have any activity in the account you avoid any fees for 6 months. So, technically by you charging me a fee, an activity in my account, I should be good for 6 months. I will settle for half my fees returned. I think that is fair. And besides you forced me to cash out my account, I don't know why I was drced to do that, since you found my account was legitimate
