Fingerhut Credit account

They keep temporary increasing my limit then dropping it ...that has sent a red flag to my other credit cards making my credit limit to be dropped.. My credit score dropped..and this is the second time they have done this...i have called and requested dont raise it again and then drop it...i am trying to pay them off for 29.99% intersest rate...i dont want to order no more frim them...

I had an account under vlmenterprisesllc@gmail.com . You closed that account without reason after I paid it off. I was never late with payments, and I had a credit limit of at least $2000. You damaged my credit when you closed that account. Having to begin again at Fresh Start added another credit inquiry, my length of credit history dropped, as well as my credit amount total fell by at least $2000, making my credit usage appear high. You're supposed to help, not hurt my credit. Why'd you crash my credit score?

They did the same to me . Now they switched banks to Fetti and closed my old account and opened this new one from Fetti bank , My bank notified me my Transunion dropped 25 points and my equifax dropped 32 points . Nowhere did they say your credit score would drop like a rock or I would have declined it. 4 1/2 years buying many things and never a late payment and the company that says this builds credit actually hurts your credit . Last year I got a temporary increase I never asked for but never used it and when they took it back my credit dropped 10 points . It should be illegal for them to add credit without your approval and then remove it lowering your credit score . They have very predatory practices. They have non existent customer service in another country with people you can't understand and do nothing to help you and tell you they will put you on with a specialist and hang up on you after 10 minutes . The email complaint site didn't work either . All they are interested in is your money and could care less about customers .4 1/2 year spent lots of money never late with one payment and they give you the shaft . I'm going to see if I can file a complaint with the Pa attorney general .I wouldn't recommend them to anyone . The so called credit helpers are the credit destroyers ,I'm going to cancel my account before they force something else on me that lowers my score .

Fingerhut Cell phone

I ordered a cell phone from Fingerhut. I had the phone for a couple weeks and had nothing but issues put of it so I sent it back. Fingerhut will not remove a payment on that phone and the payment has now became late which cause the payment to go from $37 to $88. I've emailed them multiple times but of course no help at all. They wont remove the payment off of my account for a faulty phone they sold me that was returned to them.

Fingerhut Perfume

I placed one order with Fingerhut and I never received that item and now I'm being charged for an item I did not receive. I have called and emailed Fingerhut regarding my item that I did not receive. Now Fingerhut wants me to pay for an item I never received. I would like my account closed. I don't want my account active, please close my account.

Fingerhut Returns

I ordered an OVER PRICED laptop. It is very small and useless. I do not want the laptop. I see on the website you have 60 days to return merchandise. I did just that, I returned the laptop before the 60DAYS were up. The laptop was returned to me with absolutely no explanation why it was returned! I called the absolutely useless customer service line and was repeatedly told you are supposed to SEARCH on fingerhut website fir the laptop return policy?! Are you serious! I stated I will return the laptop for full credit. Why am I being "raped"!? I am being Forced to pay for something I do not want! If the product was defective you would exchange or refund?! The laptop is in the same condition as it was sent and can be sold... to someone who wants it.

They just changed over to some fingerhut fetti account, I just ordered my items in april, didnt reicve them for 3 weeks, and return a piece of junk air matress over priced 299.00, they fully refunded me, i also purchased a laptop with it, it was HP 14 in AMD RADEON, ORDERED 2 PAIRS OF OVER PRICED SNEAKERS AND NOW I HAVE TO SEND A PAOR BACK OF KSWISS WOMEN SIZE 9 THAT DO NOT FIT. ONLY HAD A WEEK. i NEVER WORE THEM ONLY TRIED THEM ON. tHE PROBLEM IS THEY HAVE 2 ACCOUNTS AND SAY IM LATE ON A PAYMENT, fIRST ADVATAGE CREDIT AND SOMETHING NEW THEY CHANGED OVER TOO, THEY HAVE 2 ACCOUNTS UNDER ONE ITS CRAZY, MY MINIMUM PAYMENT WAS 46.99 IT NOW THEY SAY IM LATE ON ONE PAYMENT AND OWE ANOTHER MONTH WHEN THEY DIDNT EVEN LET ME GET THE PRODUCTS. i OWE 18.99 A MONTH ON THE FINGERHUT FETTI ACCOUNT. THIS IS ROBBERY AND FRAUD.

Fingerhut Safeline

I recently noticed that Fingerhut has been charging me monthly for over 2 years for this SAFELINE crap that I never "opt-in" or authorized. I directed that it be canceled immediately and that a full refund be applied! I also requested a copy of the contract that I signed authorizing this enrollment, have not received anything nor am I ever able to speak with a supervisor, as they are NEVER available. I will follow up with Consumer Affairs as well as BBB if Fingerhut is not willing to resolve this in a timely fashion. I also notice that there is a Complaint Board with numerous consumers complaining of the same thing happening to them - as well as a - Class Action Lawsuit pertaining to this.

Fingerhut freshstart account

On November 13 2021 I send $ 40.00 payment al so November 1 2021 $ 40.00 payment before my due date of 12/09/2021 mail by date of 12/02/2021 however i received email stating miss my payment due December 9 2021 and they add Late fee 14.00 also another 37.94 past due amount however webpage say NO AMOUNT DUE AND NO MINIMUM DUE NO DUE N/A

Fingerhut Magic chef ice maker chrome

I am having a hard time with the item that I ordered and paying it off . My payoff isn't right . They are working on me paying interest and not the item . Paying it off early is supposed to pay off and where they are going with that I don't know. Call me at [protected] so it can be fixed
! With the way they are doing it. I can send it back and pay cash at Walmart and be lot Cheaper
! So give me a call when you get the information I sent

Fingerhut Customer service

I've kept my account current and made purchases in the past. for no reason my orders keep getting cancelled and when I call the don't have a reason for it just that I have to call a different phone number. They either keep acting like they are loosing me or put me on hold till I hang up. They told me to send in a copy of my birth certificate, ID, and utility. This is ridiculous I'm not sending all the info to. That's how personal information gets stolen. I really hope we can resolve this or I will just close my acct.

Fingerhut Billing

I had a finger hut account and paid so well they raised my credit, I made payments early where I believe I was always paid ahead one or two months in case I had a bad month my payments were paid . For example I made a pmt say feb 3 rd for feb pmt due feb 5 th then I paid again feb 23rd for the March pmt due. I did this every month. I was paid through December in October . Now they are saying I am late and demanding 2 payments. I explained and read off my pmts. They are saying they put those extra pmts toward the principal, which I did not request and I checked my bal never went down. If this were true my Val would have decreased by that amount because if they apply to principle interest is not charged. One rep said they would take care of it and never did. When I called back I was told too bad and they were rude. Now after never missing a pmt and paying ahead they are turning me into credit company ruining my credit I have worked hard to rebuild. I have proof of all my pmts.

Desired outcome: Credit my pmts as should have been credited, to where I am current. My next pmt should have been due in January 2022. Retract bad credit statement to credit bureaus.

Fingerhut Fingerhut

I order a cell phone from them on 07/27/2021 and it didn't work, and I sent it back, and copy of the Post office statement, they claim that they didn't receive the phone, we tracked the phone, and someone at Fingerhut got it, so I kept calling they sent me affidavit to to fill out, I did and I didn't hear anything from them again, they tell me that I need to fill out another affidavit, I ask what happen to the first one, they never answered me, and they never sent another, they told my account was sold to another company, and I'm still making payments to Fingerhut.

Fingerhut I want them to send me my overpayment for 358.22

On Aug.16th, 2021 there was an over payment made to my Fingerhut Account for 358.22. I called them when I received the statement, and requested my refund, overpayment to me at my new address, account #[protected]/ and my customer # is [protected]. They told me Vic was the person that I spoke with that I had to email them my social security card, state ID, and 2 utility bills to prove that I am Margaret Gomez. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she told me he was busy, and will my call the next day on. On 10/28 he did not return my call and I called them. The automated system requested the last 4 #s of my SS#, and I entered the valid #, the system said this is not a valid #, and they hung up on me.

Fingerhut Unfair billing practices

I'am a loyal and long time customer of fingerhut I was given credit with this company and I always paid them on time I even doubled my monthly payments with fingerhut. They raised my credit from $300 to $500 and I started making my monthly in december 2020 $50.00 each month and then I doubled the payment s to $100 and they say I owe the $599. They are a fraud and rip off never sent me my monthly statements now my credit is destroyed and I can't get my first home loan because of this horrible debt. I was referred to your online complaint program by the united states senator's office. Thankyou, sincerely, angie s.

Fingerhut Credit insurance

I have been paying monthly for this Safeline Insurance that Fingerhut offers as protection against any hardship. I had surgery in late July and I signed up for help filled out paperwork sent in paperwork from my job and my doctor and they were still asking for proof of employment. My disability paperwork from the job is proof of employment. It states when my leave started and when my leave ends. This is just another way to scam hard working people out of more money.

Desired outcome: Do what they promise and help people so that we don't get swallowed up by debt just because we're sick. laid off or in some other crisis or hardship.

Fingerhut A set of two dash cams

I recently added a set of 2 dashcams to my account & received them today with them being damaged/defective.. I called customer service & was told they were going to replace my order but it would take 3weeks, which I don't understand why it would take that long when it didn't just recently & seeing as how it was damaged due to the delivery service they used, they should make it right for me because this is now on my credit & I'm being billed for this but cannot get use out of it... Furthermore I have been trying to call customer service back & they have my number restricted or whatever & I can't access customer service online for some reason either... I want this issue resolved or else I am not only canceling my account but I am contacting BBB FTC... This [censored] is ridiculous.

Fingerhut Late payment

I set my account up for automatic payments and thought I was all set. Payments were coming out of my account and paid as agreed. Than payments stopped, and before I realized it I was charged a 30 day late payment. Called fingerhut for explanation and they informed me I had to reenroll for automatic payment. So I paid off the balance and asked them to removed late payment to which they refused.

Fingerhut Purchased item

I purchased a beautiful comforter in March. I was redoing my bedroom for the last time. I have severe copd so this is it fir me. I opened the comforter on August 1 and followed directions to wash it in warm water on large load and dried it on low. It MELTED and when I shook it out to fold it, the comforter ripped down the melted area. Now I am stuck with a horrible comforter because they won't do anything but give me a $30 credit. The comforter is $200! All I asked was to replace it and I would send this one to them to see it. The problem is, they are refusing to replace it. Since I don't have a whole lot of time left they will win. Don't buy from these people. They don't back up their products. Sadly, Valerie.

Fingerhut Credit account

Had a credit account with this terrible excuse for a company just to build credit. They make you buy items to keep your credit limit or they take the limit away. I had a security breach were I needed to change debt cards so 1 payment was not being processed. They immediately put a 30day late on my credit for a 22 dollar payment. Never called to let me know. Not email or anything. They are refusing to take it off. They charge outrageous amounts for common items. I bought a watch that broke in a week for 270. Was online for 68 bucks new. Got ripped and credit screwed. This company prays on people with less then great credit. Do yourself a big favor and stay away

Fingerhut Product return

I ordered a hp laptop in order to meet the requirements of a remote position for which I applied. After receiving the laptop, the company sent me the required scan of the device to make sure it met the minimum requirements. It failed every category. Since that was my motivation for the purchase, I got it prepared to return as I am within my 30 days...Actually within my first week. I followed the "easy return" instructions only to find them not so easy.
I called and spoke with a gentleman named patrick. He said I didn't have the option of reprinting the packing slip due to the fact my item is not eligible for return. How? I am not past my 30 days? "that item is for exchange only of the exact same item due to defect. It is not available for return." I read to him verbatim from the website the return policy. He explained that was incorrect and read me another version. I explained my situation and offered to show him the results of the scan. He said it was irrelevant because the item cannot be returned. With the website policy in hand, I told him I plan on fighting it. He then said "I will make a 1 time exception. You may return it. I will send the label you will have it within an hour."
At 5:30 pm (hour and a half later) still no return label. I called back the lady said it was sent. I told her I checked every email in box I have and it was not received. I gave her an alternate email address. She said I would have it within an hour.
At 6;45 pm I called back because it still was not received. This representative told me that it takes 24 hours to receive a return label and that after I receive the email I have to wait an hour before opening. I told her that was the most insane procedure I ever heard. She said give it 24 hours and then a hour and I will have my return label.
So, still no return label. A laptop I cannot use and my concern is they upon receipt (giving I ever get it shipped back) they inspect it and then determine if I owe for shipping and how much of a refund I will receive. I packaged up the laptop in the exact packaging it arrived and I even added extra pdding for it's safe journey. I am not confident at all that I will receive a full refund given the issues I have already faced. This return has been a nightmare.

Desired outcome: full refund for the laptop I didn't even have a wek

Bought a meat smoker from Fingerhut. The box was destroyed during delivery. Also the smoker is damaged. Been waiting for them to send someone to pick up the product and to ship a new one. Since then the price has gone up around 200.00 dollars and they want to charge me the new price. Customer service absolutely sucks there and it seems that the do not want to do their jobs.

Fingerhut Faulty product

I bought a drone specifically for the automatic return home feature (so I would never have to worry about losing it)which will cause it to return home if it loses connection with the remote (which isn't supposed to happen untill it reaches appx. 300 meters. However) two doors down it lost connection and instead of returning home; it took off at speed in the opposite direction never to be seen again. Then for some reason the gps tracker was tracking was NOT thanking the drone but instead the the remote, whick was in my hands! What kind of ridiculous crap is that. So I was sold a product that had features to keep it from getting lost which did NOT work AT ALL which CAUSED it to GET LOST and because I don't have it in my possession they will NOT cover it.

Fingerhut Safeline insurance

In March of 2020 I had to stay home stay safe from COVID so I activated the safeline insurance for my Fingerhut account and thought everything was fine a collection agency has my account 3000+ dollars. I contacted Fingerhut should NOT have happened I PAID for activated the safeline insurance. scam Fingerhut should honor the "protection" I PAID for
