Poor customer service
i bought a sewing machine on [protected] paid 300.00 plus 33.00 shipping order # 2264549.on there web sight said a 30 day money back guarantee in red.i told her that she said they just do that. got the machine on 9-3-2016 .got it all set up and the thread balled up on back of fabric i fixed it and then it would stop and start the needle only the wheel would keep going.so i boxed it right up.i thought it could burn the motor up.now i had it about 1 hour .i did a refund form on line cause they are close on saturday. got a email back from Jennnie so i called her, said she had to talk to the vendor.now she said that they repair, now this is a new machine and with it being new I did not want it repaired that is why I was buying new.i would of did the repair if it would of happened in a week are two but not in the first hour.i had to pay 76.00 to ship it back and they are charging be a restocking fee i told her in a email how can you do a restocking fee on something broken i could of if i just change my mine but this refund is because it is broken on a new machine.the restocking fee is 45.00.they will get the machine back on 9-9-2016.i do have emails on all of this.i will not be buying from them again.I did get a sewing machine on ebay used machine for 25.00 and 19.50 shipping they give you 14 days money back and they pay the shipping .and it works great. i will buy with ebay again.so my used machine is better than the new one and it does the some stitching the zig zag that the new one had and it was cheaper than the new one.I wish i would of got this one in fist place but i thought getting the new one was better for 300.00
Rip off, beware
This company sells defective merchandise and when you return it (at your expense again) you they start deducting restocking and other charges so you remain with only a portion of your money and only to be used as a credit with them, the originators of ripoff. DO NOT BY FROM THIS RIPOFF COMPANY! They even have 'RETURN SPECIALISTS!' How appropriate is that?
Bad service
I purchased a Brother PQ1500s in February of this year. I tried free mation quilting with it in March. It would not free motion quilt. I emailed the company and told them Iwas having problems with this machine. They emailed me back with advice. In April of this year the tension spring broke. I emailed the company and they told me to send it in, which I did at MY expense. They sent it back, Two days later the spring broke again. I emailed the company. They told me to go to my local dealer and have it replace. My "local" dealer is 80-100 miles away. I then emailed Brother international. I tild them how unhapp I was with this product and the company I purchased it from. They told me they would pick up the machine and service it at their factory. I received it back. Last Thursday I again tried quilting a quilt on this machine. The thread broke and tangled. I then emaild Allbrands again and asked for a refund. They informed me it was damaged in shipping and they could not refund the money. I then emaild back and told them that was just an excuse. The tension is not right. I cannot use this machine for the reason I purchased it. I don't understand how a person can spend $800 for something and never get to use it and the company refuses to do anything about it.
Warranty not honored
Online company, AllBrands.com, firmly refuses to honor the 3-year extended warranty on a $160 Rowenta Steam Generator Iron I purchased in 2007. AllBrands alleges that my warranty was not activated supposedly because I neglected to provide them with my appliance serial number at the time of purchase. Nowhere on the AllBrands.com website did it state the warranty would become invalid if a serial number was not provided.
How can I provide a serial number if there was none? There was NO serial number on the appliance, on inside packaging, nor was there a serial number on the box it came in!
According to the warranty company for my iron (Banker's Warranty Group), a serial number is NOT always required since not ALL appliances (like mine) have them. A rep from Banker's Warranty Group said they activate warranties simply with a customer's purchase information alone-no serial number required. The onus was on AllBrands.com to provide my purchase information, but they neglected to do so.
AllBrands.com owner, John Douthat, would not accept responsibility for his company's negligence in filing my purchase and warranty information with Banker's Warranty Group. As a result, I cannot place a claim for the repair of my iron. AllBrands.com did not deliver the warranty service I was promised.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I ordered an Arrow Gidget II sewing table in January 2017. It was sent by Arrow using FedEx. Driver miss delivered and long story short I never received it. I called Allbrands and I also called FedEx. The next day the driver showed up at the door but admitted it was not delivered to us and he could not find the package. After email correspondence between Allbrands and myself at first I was led to believe it was being reordered. The email today said basically Not our problem, Not Arrow Co. problem file with home owners insurance as FedEx says it was stolen from my porch. How could it be stolen from my porch when they NEVER brought it to our porch! I used to sing praises on the many Quilting, Embroidery and Sewing Facebook groups I belong to. Not anymore! I will be posting on ALL 20 groups I belong to warning people not to do business with Both Allbrands and Arrow corp!
I am the some one on the sewing machine i also payed 33.00 for the shipping to get the machine in the first place . this is for the lady on the iron what is the AG are anyone that would know
bought a sewing machine set it up and did not work right stopped and start the needle only the wheel would keep going.so i boxed it back up though it could burn up the motor with only the wheel running.they wanted to repair it and i would of if i would of had it longer than the fist hour.i think it was broken when i got it doing it right away.now this is a 300.00 machine it is a new one are that is what i thought. so i had to pay 76.04 to send it back plus they are changing be a restocking fee.i can not see that for something that is broke.maybe that is what they do charge a restocking fee and send it back out again.the restocking fee is 45.00 when you buy new and it don't work when you get it they should give a full refund and pay the shipping back.on the web sight it said a 30 day money back guarantee i told them that and they said we just do that.i did get another sewing machine used on ebay for 25.00 it works great shipping was only 19 50 and there is a 14 money back plus they pay the shipping back so used was better than there new one is .i will never buy with them again the company is ALLBRANDS .com but ebay yes
you are correct, they sold me a used iron as NEW and then refused to take it back for credit until I got the AG involved...
