Make sure to ask how long it will take before someone gets back to you after you have signed off on all documents with nurse assessor (the one you determines the number of hours needed). The system the nurse assessor uses is not "tied" to the system the rest of Fidelis uses and it is a PITA. After spending a couple of months to get POA for my elderly mother, I am still not allowed to speak to anyone about her at Fidelis because their "systems" don't communicate. And they know it and told me so, too bad. Yeah, so far, I think I chose the wrong company...

Recommendation: Ask how long it will take to get the process going once you sign off on your decision.
