Fargo Travel Agency review: Scam

Our flight on Delta was cancelled at the last minute and we had rather tight connections so we googled Delta reservations and got Fargo’s number. ‘Cynthia’ never identified herself as a Delta employee (because she wasn’t) but told my very frenzied wife she could rebook us. First through Tampa, then changed story to Toronto but it would cost twice what we paid Delta. My wife was hysterical by this time and got sucked in for $6000. The confirmation number she gave us was nonexistent and she said we would have to pick up tickets at Air Canada desk at 0400. The desk didn’t even open until 0600. Tried to call ‘Cynthia’ back but was told she would be in in a few hours and would call. She never did. We had to rebook ourselves on different airline for half of ‘Cynthia’s’ price. Only later did we realize we’d been scammed. Disputing charges but not hopeful of getting money back.
