On 2/13, I signed a contract for a solar system that was supposed to start working in about two weeks. The panels were installed at least a week ago, but since then, they have just been sitting on my roof doing nothing. It seems like this company wants to cancel my contract, and now I have two payments to make - one for the panels and another for the electricity company. This is not what the vendor agent promised me.

On 10/22, we agreed with Evergreen Solar to replace our rented solar panels with their own. They pledged to take away the old ones, ensuring we'd have no further payments for them. However, after installing their panels, they left the previous ones in place, resulting in dual payments. The salesperson has since ignored our calls and refuses to communicate. A representative was sent, yet communication was ineffective. Now, they claim they don't remove existing panels, contradicting their initial promise of a single bill.

Solar panels were delayed for about 3 months before the system was completed. I was making payments for the use of panels while they were being installed. I was supposed to be reimbursed for these payments until the solar panels were fully connected and operational. So far, I have made 3 payments of $134.27, but I have only received 2 payments in return. I have been in contact with the general manager at Evergreen Solar, trying to get the 3rd payment. However, despite numerous calls, the payment has not been made and is now 30 days past due. This situation has been very stressful for me, as I am facing financial hardship. It is important that this issue is resolved and that I am given a credit towards my monthly payment for the time and effort I have put into contacting Evergreen Solar. Thank you.

The salesperson who sold me this solar system misled me about the product. When he was selling the solar system, he promised: 1. A letter guaranteeing no electric bill, which he never provided. 2. A water credit from DWP for installing the solar system, which turned out to be false. 3. High solar capacity, yet my average is lower than promised, and I still get an electric bill. Initially friendly, he became unresponsive and argumentative post-installation, failing to honor his assurances. The investment in solar did not yield the promised savings, and his actions were deceptive just to secure a sale.

On 8/3/22, I signed a contract for a big solar setup with EvergreenSolar. They said they would install 27 panels, and we're financing it for about *** The crew started the installation on 9/2/22, but they only got part of it done. They said they had to wait for a missing part to come in before finishing. On 9/19/22, I called the salesperson to ask about the terms and the delays. They told me to talk to the main office. I talked to *** there, and they said the missing part was in and would be installed soon. They also said that if we weren't generating power by the time our payments were due, Evergreen would reimburse us for those payments.

On 10/11/22, I called the office again to check on the progress. They said the part was installed, but they couldn't give me a date. They said the final inspection would happen in 2-3 weeks. Then on 10/20/22, I called again. They said our project was just waiting for approval, but they didn't say who it was from. They said all the equipment was installed, and once it was approved, all they had to do was turn on the system.

I decided to call the city to get an estimate of how long it would take. The city told me they hadn't received any solar plans or pulled any permits. I emailed our experience and the city's contact information to EvergreenSolar, asking them to resolve the situation. I emailed again on 10/27/22, including the person connected to the contracting license, and asked for a response by 11/1/22. It's been 90 days since we signed the contract. The contract says the contractor is responsible for permits and completing the work promptly. We've been given the runaround, lied to, and ignored. They've also made changes to our property without following the right procedures. Even if they fix it, it will cause more delays.

We want this resolved. We want a written agreement to reimburse our solar financing payments and any extra costs because of the delays and lack of permits.
