I bought a car from Ettleson more than 13 years ago. Just yesterday, I got a message saying they did a hard check on my credit report. I didn't even try to get credit from them. I've tried contacting them a few times, but no response. I'm really worried that they might be involved in some kind of fraud.

The company called *** keeps sending me mail, even though I've asked them multiple times to stop. This person has threatened me and said they want to hurt me. I've complained to the ComplaintsBoard.com four times now, but they still send me mail. It happened in August and now again in December 2022. The address of *** Cadillac Buick *** is at *** and their phone number is ***. I don't know what else I can do to get them to remove my address from their database and stop sending me mail. The second piece of mail came from *** Castle ***. But the main mailing address is ***.

On April 1, I had my car towed to Ettleson Cadillac-Buick-GMC, Inc. because it kept cutting off while I was driving. They informed me on April 14, that the car was fixed and I paid a total of $1538.00, which included $1460.71 for labor and $72.63 for the parts. They assured me that I had a two-year warranty.

However, on May 5, the same problem occurred and my car stopped while I was driving. I had to tow it back to their shop. To my surprise, they mistakenly allowed a repo company to tow my vehicle without informing me about it. After I retrieved my car from the tow company, I had to tow it back to Ettleson Cadillac.

They started working on the same problem I had on April 1, on May 18. Finally, on May 21, they called me and said my car was ready. This time, it cost me an additional $780.68, including $654.04 for labor and $85.18 for parts. However, on May 23, my car stopped again, and I realized that after spending $2200.00, the problem remained unresolved.

I got my truck towed to the service department on May 26. I needed new tires, an oil change, a check-up since it had been sitting for a while, and a diagnostic for the suspension light. The guy in charge, Paul, was really nice. He called me with a list of issues that needed fixing. I agreed to repair the Accumulator Pressure Switch to avoid the diagnostic charge. I gave my approval on May 29, and was told it would be done by June 2 at the latest. June 5 came and I hadn't heard anything from Paul. So I texted him for an update and he told me that the part that needed fixing had broken off in the ABS module, and it would cost $2000 to repair. His service guy was still trying different things to remove the broken piece. I told him I didn't have $2000. Once again, I didn't hear anything from Paul until I texted him again on June 12. He informed me that there was still no luck, but his guy had one more thing to try. I texted again on June 15 for updates, but it still wasn't fixed. The part was broken off by the service tech, and I didn't think I should have to pay out of my pocket to replace or repair something that broke while in the service of Ettleson Service Dept. I called to speak to the service supervisor, but I got a voicemail and left a message. With no response, I called again and left another message for the service supervisor on June 17. Still no call back. So I decided to call the GM of the dealership. I got his voicemail, which had a young lady's voice, and I left a message on June 18. It's ridiculous and very unprofessional that I haven't received any response despite leaving all these messages. I had a scheduled date for June 10 for my vehicle to be picked up by a transport company and brought to me in Georgia.
