Just a quick note concerning ER Solutions AKA ConvergentUSA. I was asked by a friend of mine to post her experience regarding ER Solutions. She called me this morning asking me to track down the owner of a phone number [protected]). She had received a phone call from a company telling her she owed money to Dish Network. The caller DID NOT IDENTIFY herself NOR the company she worked for (problem #1). Somehow, ER Solutions or Convergent was able to track down my friend's UNLISTED phone number which she got a few years after ending her Dish Network service (problem #2). After speaking to the caller and explaining that she did not owe Dish Network anything my friend asked me to find the owner of the above phone number. I googled it and found that it was used by ER Solutions a company with a lot of complaints and bad reviews. A caller from a legitimate company would have identified themselves and who they represent. Hopefully they won't be calling again to harass her anymore.

They used to keep on calling my mom at home. After a while the called her at work and threatened her that he'll have her fired. Then this guy started talking to other people in her department telling them that she owes him money. Finally she cried over phone and had to beg him not to call. When even that didn't work she had her manager answer once and the manager told him that this is a work place and he cant bring such stuff in there.

I have recently received a phone call that told me that I'm in Dept with Er solutions so I called then the machine told me to hold. The machine repeated this action at least five times then it just hung up. They say that I owe them money so I looked up the website to find out what it was about it, turns out I've never heard of Er solutions and I've never been to their company in my life.

If you looked up the website what did you find? I googled it and the first hit shows it is a collection agency. Who does business with a collection agency? And then there are hits on this website complaintsboard that says they are collecting debts for these different companies. So why would you ever have been to their company?

I looked at the web page it's pretty descriptive. But why would you do business with them? Why would you owe THEM money? Maybe you don't. May be you owe somebody else who does business with them. May be the company you do business with does business with them and now they're calling you because you didn't pay the other company???

I've never done business with a collection agency either. i don't owe any money to no collection agency either. I'm sure everyone on this site could say the same. Who do you owe money to ?

The people who work for this company are rude and threatening. Demanding that I take out a payday loan to pay my phone bill. When I explained that I was diagnosed with uterine cancer and was out of work for 3 months I was rudely told that they don't want to hear about my personnel problems and just pay!!! I asked them how they sleep at night and promptly hung up!

The ER Solutions reps.are very rude and have no compassion or understanding. My account was transferred to them for an Unpaid Cingular Wireless bill. The total due was about $800. I made payment arrangements to have the amount of $144.00 deducted from my account each month. After about the 3rd month I had a mix-up with my checking accounts at the bank and unknown to me my account was frozen due to excessive activity which needed to be investigated, so when ERS tried to deduct their payment it was declined. The representative “Chris Young”, was very rude and very humiliating to me when I tried to explain my situation to him and threatened to report my account as a ‘refusal to pay’ and wanted to know if I was 'aware that I had written a bad check across state lines??' ( I did no such thing) But because I could not pay the entire balance of $387.00 in one lump sum. At no time did I say to him that I was refusing to pay as a matter of fact I was willing for him to put the same payment through my account again because I had sorted out the problem and he refused saying that it was all or nothing. I told him to do what he had to do, because I was not able to make the payment all at once. He hung up on me. He suggested I take a payday loan or dip into my 401k plan (which I don’t have). How dare them!!! I am making an effort to resolve the full amount just not all at once because I was not able to. These collectors need to recognize when they have a willing customer, because now that he has proven himself to be an ###, I will pay them when I am good and ready and no sooner. I don’t believe I have an option when it comes to paying a bill or buying food for my 8mth old son. I choose the latter.

I had an alledged debt that passed the 7 year mark and was removed from my credit report. A representative has called me
multiple times since my debt has been removed and no longer
exists. The rep stated that it is still on my credit report as of
01/04/2008. This is criminal act of fraud which I plan to report
to the proper authorities of jurisdiction.

ER Solutions harassing phone calls after the account has been paid off in full. Horrible service, the agent raised his voice at me and cut me off. Not to mention they misrepresented themselves claiming to be from Dell Financial. Completely horrible!

I had a bill with WAMU small bill I went into the branch and paid it. I notified this company that I had paid the original creditor because the letter that I received stated that I had that option. ER Solutions reported the debt to all major credit bureaus after I notified them that I had paid it and also asked me to pay them and sign a form stating that I had made payments to them?? the woman on the phone seemed to be angry because I had paid WAMU directly. Said she was not removing off my credit for 90 days. I have already contacting the Attorney General's Office about this matter in the state of Florida

This company has been calling without leaving messages for my daughter. We've repeatedly told them that she doesn't live here, but they continue to call as if we can produce her and force her to call them.

This number calls me cell phone occasionally but I don't answer if I don't know the number...well they called my neighbor, whom I barely know to find me...if they would leave a message maybe I would call back. I am pretty disgusted at this type of practice.

My experience with ERS has to do with a college dept. I couldn't make a payment on it and talked to the accounts manager at the college about how I had to pay for my clutch to be rebuilt. I offered to take in the receipt for the work done from the mechanic shop and she said no need to because I called and spoke with her instead of just skipping it. I also offered to make a double payment the following month because I was recieving enough work to do so. She said that would be great.

Well, 7 days later I get a very rude phone call from an ERS rep and he was supposedly the head of the College Loans department of ERS Collections. He flat out told me if I don't pay off my bill to them (ERS) by that day that my $375.71 left on my bill would become a total of $1500.00 and that they would put a judgement on me to be able to take it out of my paychecks. He didn't even give me a chance to answer that yes this is Russell.

I told him to go ahead and try it that I am self employed (the truth) and un liscensed because in my state, I don't have to be if I make under a certain amount in one quarter; Yes, I pay my taxes.

Then he got even more beligerent with me when I asked him for a certified mailed copy of there harassment policies. By Federal Law they have to provide you with a certified copy if asked. If they do not provide one then you can counter sue. Well, he hung up on me and then called me back and told me if I wanted a certified copy then I would have to pay off my bill and hung up on me again.

After googling ERS Collections, I went to there website and the head of that department isn't even a male. It is a female. So, I am thinking about calling back and asking her for a certified copy of there policies regarding people who owe and asking her why I haven't even recieved a letter from them letting me know that my account has been referred to them. Yes, no letter just a phone call out of the blue.

They call using different numbers, will not identify who they are calling for or for whom they are calling, nor will they leave their name. They ask for sensitive information hand have been pointedly abusive to me . . . and lastly their data is not up to date.

ER Solutions continues to harass with automated calls at all hours. Difficult to get them on the phone to stop them. They are calling me to harass for a collection in error for Dish Network. Shame on Dish Network for using the agency. I am not the person they are looking for and have never heard of such a person. They should be banned and fined.

i am a grown woman and live on my own and apparently i have a debt and they thought it was ok to call my parents home number and harass them. I dont know how they got the number but i think it should be against the law to call a number that wasnt given to them for my billing issues. i am very aggervated with them because i havent heard any phone calls on my number.

When they called my number the first time there wasn't anyone on the line. They called the second time and left a really rude message telling me that he didn't appreciate me hanging up the phone in his ear in a really rude tone.

If this is a collection agency and you have notified them to cease communication with you, you have the right to sue them for continued communications. You need to determine if this is indeed a debt that has been sold to a collection agency, and also I would highly recommend sending them a notice to cease and desist communications via certified mail with return receipt and signature confirmation. You want to make sure that it is delivered and have proof that they have received notice to stop communication. Please see the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Section 805(c), or discuss with an attorney.

This company ER Solutions called my house looking for a man that lived next door to me and when I asked who the girl was and where was she calling from she did not want to tell me. This person was very RUDE. Just to find out who they were I had to Google the number. I could not believe that they can do that.

Every day I return home from work to several phone messages from ER Solutions. They are apparently looking for someone named "Vincent" but I am unable to hear the last name (garbled on message). I happened to be home from work this week due to illness so I was able to answer the calls. Each time, I listened to the options and pressed the appropriate button when prompted to indicate that I was not "Vincent". The call have continued. What will it take for ER Solutions to stop harrassing me several times each day (including weekends) for someone else's apparent debt?

I have received multiple calls a day from ER Solutions and decided that before I call them back I wanted to know who they are and why they are calling me. Let me just say that reading all of the horror stories that so many of you have gone through almost made me block their number and not call. However, I have recently found myself in a financial bind and do have a few overdue credit card bills so I figured that they are probably calling due to one of them.

I called and instantly got ahold of a lady named Debbie. She was very nice even while she was attempting to get me to pay the bill right then and there. I explained to her that I will pay it but it will have to wait until January 1st when I get paid again. She was very nice in offering to set up a post dated check payment on December 20th but I would have to call in that day because that would be at their next billing cycle. I was very impressed with her professionalism even though I was geared and ready to fight.

It was very nice to finally talk to someone that didn't try to rip my head off. I have had many experiences where I was bawling by the time I got off the phone.
