My first day in the gym, I was asked about interest in a Personal Training Program, to which I told Tina (EOS Pebblecreek) I could not afford the program. She told me the first session was only $19.99 and could be canceled anytime. I agreed only to do the first session, which I scheduled for the next day. No contract or “terms” were ever shown to me or my friend. I went in for my session the next day and told them I wanted to cancel. Tina said she would cancel my plan for me. Instead, I was charged the first payment of $88 and sent an email with my “contract” that I had never seen before. When I confronted them about it, they told me in no uncertain terms that I had “signed the contract” and that I knew what I was getting into. The blatant lies in order to get someone on the hook for something they cannot afford (which I made her aware of on day 1) are a form of false advertising and need to be addressed. These people are as crooked as they come and should be shut down.
Claimed loss: $88 illegally withdrawn from my account; attempts to pull more payments from my account, along with additional “fees”; refusal to process cancellation until 4 months of program are “completed” and payments are “caught up”
Desired outcome: These people are intentionally deceitful and manipulative and need to be shut down. This same complaint is pasted all over the BBB website.

These people will lie and manipulate you to get your money, even when you tell them you cannot afford anything beyond the basic membership.
