EOS Fitness - Online Membership

My name is Dale Brown and I am a recent member that completed the process online.My son and I just recently moved to Las Vegas on 09/17/22 and was looking to join a gym. I had to cancel my LA Fitness membership due to lack of facilities. Within a couple of days of moving I found a EOS location off Stephanie and the 215 FWY. I registered for the black account because I was able to bring someone in with me when I go. I wanted to bring my son (14) and come to find out the first day that I cannot have him accompany me in the gym. At that time I wanted to downgrade to the standard membership ONLY because of that factor however I was told that there would be a $50 downgrade fee that must be paid first. I have yet to pay the annual fee along with the first months installment and now I have to be charged a downgrade fee all within 30 days. I feel that that should be waived considering the circumstances. I am still looking to be a member however that fee is uncalled for and should be waived. Thank you for your time and consideration in regards to looking in to the matter. Please feel free to reach out.

Desired outcome: Looking for the fee to be waived.

EOS Fitness - Monthly fee

Last month, I contacted EOS upon receiving notice that monthly dues would begin again. I explained that I did not feel comfortable returning to the gym with Covid still at a high alert. I was assured that it wasn't a problem and that my account could be closed. A month later, I received a call explaining that I was going to be sent to collections if I did not pay my past due balance. I called & spoke with manager. I advised of my previous conversation. She said there was no document of the conversation & she could close my account after I paid last month's fee. I declined as I wasn't paying a fee that I called about previously. I asked to speak with someone above her. She said no one was above her & all I could do was send an email. I will continue to find a way to rectify error of not updating my account At an appropriate time, I will return to a gym. It won't be EOS.
