EOS Fitness - The cleanliness of the pool at a EOS on Greenfield Road in Mesa AZ

I became a member only about 2 weeks ago. My biggest reason was to utilize the pool and sauna. I even asked the EOS sales person if everything was working in the facility in regards to the pool and sauna? The reason is I have been a member a couple years back and I do know occasionally they close it down for various reasons. I was told all was good. I took his word for it and joined also because they were running a dolllar down and 30 days till first billing.

My first day back, I was told my a patron that the heater of the pool has been broken for a few days and will be replaced in a week or two. i was dissappointed because i felt lied to and came there for that main workout which is swimming and stretching. I had shoulder issues and needed to use it as therapy. I still did because the cooler water was more theraputic but I did notice that the water was mercky looking. That week I went about every morning and within that week the heater was fixed however the water looked worse everyday. Unfortunately, i developed a bad ear ache and to the point I went to the Banner Health care and they called it swimmers ear infection and a antibiotic plus drops were needed. It was so painful I had no choice but to see a doctor. I told him about the cleanliness of the pool and my last day swimming I even saw toilet tissue in the water. It was disgusting and I did get out.

For two weeks I was there that pool was never cleaned or even possibly professionally checked or cleaned! I am very disappointed in that club because EOS is known to make cleanliness a priority however thie one on Greenfield Road in Mesa AZ doesnt care about that.

I would of not joined if I knew the pool heater was broken I would of waited and now I cant swim for a week at least because of my swimmers ear infection which I have never experienced before and am a avid swimmer. I do have proof of doctors care and prescription.

Sad to see a good club going bad. Cleanliness should be a priority in any club where people attend and use their equipment and facility.

Claimed loss: Ear infection and had to take of two weeks from pain of ear and treatment.

Desired outcome: two weeks free would be nice or switching clubs to a better facility that has a clean pool and spa and cares for it on a daily basis.

EOS Fitness - Discrimination

I have been going to this EOS since 2019- Ive checked in using my telephone without anyone every asking me my name on the account the entire 3 years without anyone ever asking me to verify my name on the account because … get this my picture pops up when I sign in. October 29th I go to give my number to some new guy and as im walking away he asked me to verify my name. I asked the new guy - what would have happened had I not provided him my name - he replied he would have asked me to leave because they have many people using their parents numbers.. I told him my picture shows uo when I check in so why does he need my name if he has my picture and my photo - he told me that its EOS’s policy to ask for the name on the account - I asked the new guy to show me the policy. He couldnt - him and the short white girl with the colored hair working the front desk started to mock me as if I was causing them a inconvience - to the point the new guy said” what can I say I take my job seriously” the general manager lindsey comes out and she tells me its eos’s policy that they ask for the name on the account when people check in with phone numbers - I asked lindsey to provide me with the policy - she told me that the policy was in my user agreement - after 3/4 minute back and for lindsey finally prints me out my user agreement contract - lindsey then goes into a “meeting” for the next 25 mins - the entire time she is on a phone “meeting” there was no less than 7 employees enter her office while she is in this meeting. I approach the front desk and by this time the new guy has conveniently disappeared and a new blond hair hispanic looking woman comes to the desk with the short white girl with colored hair - the short white girl was instigating the entire situation yet she her self could not show me this imaginary policy - besides the general manager - the short white girl was the reason why I continued to ask for this policy - at this time I am feeling discriminated against - to the point that some white guy checked in with his telephone number and nobody asked him his name - (all on video) I then ask lindsey why didnt anybody ask him his name - lindsey said he had on a name tag - to which I responded - so if I wore a lindsey name tag and the account was under a lindsey Would that confirm that I was in fact lindsey! Lindsey got visibly flustered and went back to her office - after a short wait lindsey took me to a semi private area away from the front desk and pretty much every body sat me down and said that they teach the managers to ask for names if people check in with a number - She looked at me with a straight face and says its something they are taught - I told lindsey to stop! I said you told me it was a policy and that it is in my user contract agreement - she denied saying that she told me this. I asked her again is she going to stick with that - that she didnt tell me it was eos’s policy - she laughed at me and said she never said that. I then informed lindsey that I have the new guy - the blonde hispanic girl the short white girl and lindsey ALL ON CAMERA telling me there is an imaginary policy that nobody can produce that says Eos asks people to confirm our identities by providing our names when we check in using out number - she became visibly upset - I then told her that I have her on camera lying about telling me she never said it was a policy - lindsey theb told me that its illegal in arizona to film people without their permission - I told her its not illegal and then she told me since it was illegal that shes going to hsve to ask me to leave the gym. I did not leave orriginally then she went back in her office and said she was calling her manager. I left shortly after because I knew it was illegal for her to ask me to leave - I then wrote 2 complaints on the eos website - get this all the complaints go strait to lindsey - I did not get a response in 24hrs as per the two automated responses from my complaints - go figure - so im asking eos to terminate all parties besides the blond hispanic looking lady - she at least side ways apologized. Just because you are the general manager does not mean you can make up what ever rules you want to just because you think no one will question you - so recap - I was lied to by the general manger and staff - I have our interactions recorded - and the manager did nothing to remedy my complaints aside from deleting my complaints - My intentions are to file a complaint with the EEOC Since its obvious eos has a suspct complaint process

Desired outcome: I would like all partied involved terminated and never be allowed to work for your company ever going forward-

EOS Fitness - cancellation

I was hurt on the job at the time of training with eos fitness.. I went in and spoke with the managers of the personal trainers and gave him paper work where it stated that I have a limit on any lifting, pushing and/or pulling. They still made appointment date with the trainer and I still got charged for them. I did inform them that I was not going to be at these training sessions due to pain. To please cancel my membership. (I had a neck injury. It was the second injury I had in less than two years)
So any who im getting charge for the trainer portion of the membership because I did not give them a letter of disability. And that is they only way to cancel. Now they want me to continue paying until I have finish my training agreement. They only cancelled my gym membership so they say. Im still getting phone calls. Managers give fake names when returning my calls and gives me the run around a lot.
