ITV new you've been fframed

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a fan of TV Burp and New You've Been Framed. However, I would like to make a complaint about this weeks 'New You've Been Framed'. I have become increasingly concerned about blasphemy on all TV channels; BBC1, Ch 4 and also ITV1. I was partiularly offended by a comment made by Harry Hill concering a video clip:
An American man was making his 3 dogs wait while he said a grace and they ran to eat their food when he said "Amen". Quite amusing if a little bit extreme. However when the dogs were woofing down their food, HH commented "Mmm, the body of Christ, the body of Christ". This was unecessary, unhelpful and offensive. It was comparing the body of Christ to dog food for the dogs.
This programme is shown as family teatime TV. Is such a comment really necessary? I think not.
I would appreciate any feedback concerning this matter, Yours sincerely, John Gazzard.

Im absolutely disposed with that nazi Harry Hill ."you been framed"s30 episode 1. Compering EU citizens kids to begin dog is one the worst thing that man can say. I can just hope that karma will be to him as he is to EU citizens.

Hi, not very impressed about Harry Hill’s comment on you’ve been framed, the clip was of two kids digging with spades in dry soil, they were throwing it up in the air, Harry’s comment was that it was a new way to scatter grandads ashes while having fun...seriously that is sick...he should be ashamed of himself

I am representative of Islam and I am upset about some of the remarks that were made on 'You, ve Been Framed' relating to religion. I urge the presenter to stop making jokes about any religion, i.e Christianity, Islam as some of the earlier comments suggest. The presenter who i believe to be Harry Hill is upsetting and angering people of different faiths. You are entitled to believe as you wish and choose to be atheist but does give you a right to offend others .

On 26th Dec, I was watching harry hill@s tv burp with my 8 year old daughter. I was horrified to see him putting a scene on the tv, where he was in a fridge, supposedly hitting Nigela, the tv cook. I myself have just come out of a very difficuly marriage, which involved physical violence to myself, and I was sickened and disgusted to see this scene on tv. It brought back bad memories for me, and I did not want my 8 year old daughter seeing such things! She has watced the programme for a year now and looks forwrd to it. I shall see that she does not watch it again! Also, I was further disgusted, later on as they wre puttin on a scne from emerdale, and he threw a child away into the oblivion...again, upsetting my child. Get this man off tv, he is not funny, just an idiot with a big collar!

Dear ITV1. Is it possible to sink any lower than by broadcasting the pure dross that is 'Animals Do The Funniest Things?

At best, vaguely transfixing due to the level of sheer mind numbing 'simpleton' humor employed, at worst frankly disturbing with clips such as the 'monkey waiters' one. And no, pathetically transparent bridges that allude to promoting various UK animal welfare groups don't go any where near towards excusing a UK channel choosing to broadcast such an obscene clip sourced from a nation that has such a historically obscene culture of animal rights violation. You really ought to be ashamed of yourselves - and I think you well know it or I'm sure one of the production team involved wouldn't have squeezed that weak, ### covering narrative in over the top regarding the home country's equivalent of the RSPCA being aware of those poor creatures plight in that 'monkey diner'.

Absolutely desperate television. Even if we live in a backwards enough society that allows you to justify this through viewing figures statistics, on the basis of broadcasting power = social responsibility, at least have the decency and self respect to be a little more selective.

It's from ignorant pride that atheists are born. They never seem to have read that part in the bible where man acquired free will, and dominion over the Earth. Then you get the classic argument about "How could a just God . . ."
You are now assuming you can judge the mind of God.
It's like trying to explain quantum physics when you've only been through the first grade.

ITV self harm

I wish to complain about the recent episode of Emmerdale, which presented the character, Aaron self harming because of his guilt and saying "it made him feel better". What kind of message is Emmerdale trying to send to it's audience? Especially vunerable young people. I further my concern as Emmerdale is shown before the watershed, thus resulting in a potentially younger audience. I am throughly disappointed and would never expect this from Emmerdale.

ITV Presenters

I wish to complain about the presenters on Loose Women.

Is it ITV's policy to look around for the most annoying presenters, when recruiting for Loose Women?
ITV apparantly is looking to improve viewing figures with the likes of Carol Vorderman (fake laugh, fake personality and overal just plain annoying), Lisa Maxwell (no personality, her annoying life stories and just plain boring), Andrea McLean (Why oh why get rid of Kate Thornton and keep Andrea (me me me) McLean? And last but certainly by no means least, the ghastly Jenny Eclair. Jenny obviously made the programme on the back of I'm a Celebrity Get me out of here. Although to be fair about Jenny, at least she is one of the most genuine presenters on the show but I have got to the stage that she is that annoying that she is becoming unwatchable.
To sum up, there is Entertainment and there is Loose Women. Just don't get the two mixed up.

Joan Rivers swearing with obcene words on a lunch
time programme with my two children in the same room as me aged 3 and 4, disgusting, is there any need for it .Hasnt she got the intellegence to
use a more approprite word without resorting to language like that.surley she knew it was live tv, and being aired at lunch time, I was shocked.

Loose woman has too many Political Topics, which with Lisa Maxwell and Sally Lindsey on the panel, the views expressed become unbalanced, they are basically left wing in their views and their unchallenged views become very annoying.
Sally is also class obsessed and her views are generally old school and do not represent the views of the younger generation and many of the rest of us, as a matter of fact.
I have watched this programme avidly since it started, but now find that the annoyance aroused by the above, makes me turn off the sound for short periods or if recorded 'run it on'. I consider myself to be the average viewer and ignoring this sort of feedback, because it is in-line with general left wing outlook of the BBC will eventually lose you many viewers.
Hope you will consider this complaint properly and redress the balance when these two panelists next express their views.

Makes you wonder if Joan did this on purpose to promote her acting debut in London. Google this and you get quite a lot of reports on it. Whilst I don't agree with the language she used, the media that this will attract surely is a shrewd move by her!?! Makes ya think !?!

ITV storyline

I would like to complain about Tuesday the 7th of junes episode of Emmerdale. I think that storyline should not have been filmed this is a family programme and that storyline was not suitable for certain family members.
And another thing is i had a 24 year old brother who was disabled with muscular distraphy, and for the past 2 years he suffered from really bad chest infections, ammonia and pluracy and he died in august 2010. I felt sick watching this programme and thought it was bang out of order to show this story line on the programme.
I would like a reply back with some suggestion what you are going to do about it.

I think you can contact OFCOM about such matters. The law is changing to make the 9pm watershed more tighter as many of the programmes on before that time do have inappropriate material. Sorry about your brother must of been very hard for you to have watched that.

ITV jason gardener

I wish to lodge a formal complaint regarding Jason Gardener's offensive and vulgar comment on tonight's Dancing On Ice.

I am utterly appalled and deeply hurt with Jason’s ‘chromosome missing’ comment. He should be ashamed of himself for thinking such a thing let alone speaking it….
If ITV do not address this issue promptly with an unreservedly apologetic response, there will be anarchy amongst the wider public and chaos will ensue!
My own son has a chromosome deletion which is both ability and life limiting; tonight’s vocal insult has deeply angered and hurt my family. Furthermore, should Jason’s position as a judge, be judged by the viewing public, he would be in the studio back room collecting his P45 and be prohibited from presenting forthwith!

ITV sexual content before the watershed

I cannot believe the content of perfume adverts being allowed to be shown after x factor which children follow .Men removing bikinis and another of a naked woman leaning over a naked man .This upset me and my teenage kids as it is clearly not needed and sick of plastic role models for kids or drunk rejects and we pay a license for this trash

ITV dog fighting

I cannot stress strongly enough how disgusted i am at tonights programme, I am that angry i may well never watch this program again,

To portray a bull mastiff ( a very rare dog to see) insinuating it ripping apart a alsation) is totally unfair to peoples mentality, what was the production team thinking of, teenagers who try to use dogs as weapons will now think this is the ace dog or in fact any dog, to have,
What has been portrayed was sick, intimidating and offensive to any dog breed and to me. I do hope the program will carry on this storyline to the point where Police are called and procections made with severe fines, imprisonment etc..

ITV 23rd september 2010 8:10pm

I wish to complain about the second part of Emmerdale on the 23rd September where they suggested an attack on Arrans German Shepherd (clide) carried by a bullmastive, this not only offended me and upset me greatly but also gives the bullmastive a bad name. I don't believe there should more prejudice against these animals, they should not be suggesting such vile plots as it is utterly uncalled for and unneeded.

Hi Fatannie,

I will be replying to their email, as the dog wasnt a cross breed, and even if it was, I still find it irresponsable to even think the story line was entertainment.
The bullmastiff called Brian was actually a female! in the Bullmastiff world it wont take to long before it is know who owns her

I emailed ITV viewers services and this is the reply I got...

Dear Julie

Thank you for your recent email regarding Emmerdale.

We obviously appreciate that the scenario of Aaron's dog dying is an emotive one, but Emmerdale was extremely careful to ensure that a fight between two dogs was only ever alluded to and absolutely never seen.

Furthermore, the storyline was portrayed to demonstrate the reckless actions of individuals - not their dogs. The morality of the individuals involved was very clearly drawn, as was the very serious consequence of such actions. It was also never the intent to suggest that any particular breed of dog was dangerous and, as such, the chosen dog was a cross-breed.

The subsequent veterinary treatment of "Clyde" was delicately portrayed, in keeping with the regular treatment of animals on the surgery table within the show. It should also be stressed that no animal was harmed or injured during the filming."

Thank your for taking the time to contact us here at ITV as we always welcome viewers feedback.

Im glad that im not the only one who feel's strongly about the dog attack on the 23 september, it made my stomach turn. I am a dog lover...and im not happy about the way itv have given certain dog breads such a bad name. I feel their was no need to use a storie line in this way.

Lesley i totaly agree with your comment, and as for emmerdale...i think you have lost yourself quite a few viewers over this, you should hang your head in shame.

I agree with all the complaints above. It was absolutely disgusting. With all the Press and Media coverage concerning illegal dog fighting etc. what gave you the right to think you had the right to put it to the public to view. I know what goes on with animal cruelty but we don't want to see it portrayed in this way. You have upset your viewers and you have upset quite few children as well. SHAME ON YOU EMMERDALE - You don't deserve any Award. Aaron and Jackson are brilliant actors but due to your shambolic episode you have blow your chance of them receiving one.

Thugs use certain breeds of dogs as weapons - you have given them a good opportunity to do just that.

It was unbelievable the amount of abuse I got from your Link because of expressing my views. People with limited intelligence, threats and the like. I have never had to block so many people since I went on face book.

I agree with the above complaints. The whole programme left me feeling sick and disgusted, not to mention worried that some thugs out there would think this is fun and put ideas into their heads.

There was just no need for the storyline it served no purpose, the guy that had supposedly been sold the car by Aarron had only just come into the programme...I am sickened, and it spoilt my evening.

ITV commentary

The awful football pundits who continually talk such nonsense while the game is being played. During the England vs Bulgaria game I have not heard such utter tripe since the world cup coverage... I give you an example, "Joe Hart almost has an aura about him". While he had a good game, I really think that the commentators should stop waxing lyrical and have a more objective point of view. I ended up turning the sound off to watch the game, and enjoyed it more.

ITV biggoted remarks

I was shocked and disgusted at the advert for Sky TV shown on STV last night, which is clearly fronting for the world cup.
My objection is the comment, " 5million supporting anyone but england"
which is biggotted and supports sectarianism.
To much of this goes on in Scotland and I would not expect support from a TV ad.
I am one of many English living in Scotland and I will be supporting England as I would Scotland or any other British team if they had made it to the Cup, although now I will not be watching on Skytv and I wil
ensure all my English Family and Freinds using Sky see the Advert for what it is and Cancel their Subscriptions with these people.
If they clame it was tongue in cheek then it was in bad taste and I do not accept it as a bit of fun.

They did the same in Wales but with 3 million ... but hey, it's okay because it's only hating the English, so it's okay... Sky using cheap tricks to pander to Welsh bigots - it may come as a shock to them but many of the 3 million in Wales are English or part English.

ITV drugs

emmerdale this week 22nd to 26th march 2010, I could not belive what I was watching, I lost count of how many times the viewers were told its ok to take drugs, cocaine, of all things... My grandson now thinks everyone will try drugs, in fact its a normal thing, even expected while growing up, all thanks to emmerdale, Has this world gone mad? even if they do plan to show it is infact bad to take drugs, I dread to think how many young children will have tried them this week alone, which will have changed the course of a percentage of some of their lives.?... There was not even a warning about the dangers of taking drugs at the end of each programe, They have no right to do this, how many children will have watched it unsupervised, there perents have no idea whats been put in the childs mind this week, its not right

ITV use of hand gesture

I was watching xfactor tonight with my children when towards the end when it was announced who the two were in the final sing off we saw louis walsh make a hand gesture to the public my nine year old son shouted out why is he sticking his fingers up to the audience, as we have sky plus we rewound several times and used live pause and we are convinced louis walsh made a two finger gesture to the audience as this is disgusting when it is before the watershed and the fact that the show is a complete farce I shall not be watching or allowing my kids to watch this show again.

ITV - voting

When my daughters friend voted for lloyd daniels on saturday nights show of x factor when she got through the automated service said that her vote had been counted for john and edward and thank you for her vote, i find it absolutely appalling that they are still in the show for a start but have since heard on the radio that they recieved the most votes on...

ITV danni minogue's comments on x factor

Regardless of whether Danyl is ashamed, not ashamed or not in the slightest bit bothered (as I suspect) about his sexuality, Danni had no right to bring it up in a public forum like she did. The last time I looked the X Factor was at worst a talent competition, at best a singing competition, therefore the sexual orientation of one of its contestants should be irrelvalent.

Personally I think the fact Danni is feeling the need to stoop so low in her comments on the very first show quite telling. And she also needs to bear in mind the huge gay following her sister attracts, as lets be honest here, it's not really her talent as a artist that people admire.

Her apology appeared to be little more than lip service and due to the tragic death of Stephen Gately it appears her commently unwarrented comments have been ignored. Danni should not be allowed to make such comments and then hide behind the fact that 'Danyl was not offended by them'. Regardless of whether he was or not, a lot of people were and using a persons sexuality as some kind of cheap, point scoring exercise is not acceptable.

ITV xfactor

I was shocked last night by Danniis insensitive and stupid comments but tonight's show was for me and my family far more offensive. How could Robbie Williams be allowed to sing a blasphemous song like that on a family show on national television? Would it have been allowed if he was insulting allah and the muslims - no of course not. So why was this allowed?

I am utterly dissapointed in this show.I was under the impresion this was a singing contest, this seems not to be the case. The contest between the judges seen to be over looking the contestants as you can clearly see with louis keeping the terrible twin who can not hold a note. something needs to be done about this you are clearly ripping the fans off. I for one will not be watching the show again as it is not as advertised this is the nations search for a star every year the judges put throught talentless no hopers because it annoys another judge when other talented people are sent home. The jugdes are using peoples lives for thier own amusement and that simply is not right.

I agree totally with this comment. As a visitor I was shocked to see how this nation has shifted in it's tolerance of blasphemy on a family show. It would not have been allowed on a prime time show if Mohammed, Islam, Buddha, Krishna were mentioned in such a blasphemous way. It is an offensive song and ITV were wrong to broadcast it.
I also heard no humour in Dannii Minogues's comment to Danyl Johnson about the gender issue..look at the man's face for his reaction - he was hurt by it anyone could see that.

ITV danii minogue

As a 52 year old woman, I was outraged by dannii's irrelevant comment about danyl's sexuality. She's supposed to be judging his singing voice, which incidentally is excellent, and his sexuality is totally priavte to him and irrelevant to the competition. She certainly should apologise for causing him any embarassment, in fact she should be removed as a judge. If she says she doesn't mean to be homophobic what was the relevance of the comment? i don't understand. Good bye danni your time is up. And my 83 year old mother agrees with me - outrageous behaviour!

ITV - danni minogue's comments

My wife and I found Danni Minogue's comments on X-factor tonight extremely repulsive. Browsing through numerous internet sites, we saw a growing crowd of ITV viewers asking for Danni's resignation from the talent show, plus or minus a public apology for discrimination on public TV!! I think she has forgotten very quickly that her only claim to fame and...
