Complaint Regarding Lost Luggage

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the mishandling of my luggage during my recent journey with EgyptAir. My name is Edun Abdullateef, and I am writing this letter to file a formal complaint about the lost luggage incident that occurred on 07/11/2023 on flight number MS-077- [protected] from Nigeria to Canada.

Upon my arrival at Toronto, I discovered that 2 of my checked baggage did not arrive with the flight. The details of the baggage are 0077MS584112 and 0077MS 583975 . I immediately reported the issue to the security who advised I contact the airline customer service online.

This incident has caused me significant inconvenience and distress, as my luggage contained essential items such as clothing, personal belongings, and important documents. I will have to incur additional expenses to purchase basic necessities while I await the return of my luggage.

I am deeply disappointed with the lack of communication and assistance provided by EgyptAir in resolving this matter promptly. I expect a reputable airline such as EgyptAir to handle passengers' belongings with care and to have efficient procedures in place to address such situations.

I kindly request the following actions to be taken promptly:

Provide me with a detailed update on the current status and location of my lost luggage.

Compensate me for the additional expenses incurred due to the loss of my luggage, as well as for the inconvenience and distress caused during this entire ordeal.

Implement necessary measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future, such as improving baggage tracking systems and staff training.

I urge EgyptAir to prioritize customer satisfaction and take immediate action to rectify this situation. I expect a response to this complaint within 10 business days from the date of this letter. Failing to address this matter adequately will compel me to escalate this complaint further and explore other avenues to seek compensation for the inconvenience caused.
