Online service
On two occasions I got a "wrong password" error message at login. I have never attempted a wrong password as I have it saved on the browser. Even then it is an easy password. The reset password function doesn't work. I was asked to sign forms and send them by email. Even then it took them 2 weeks to resolve the issue. I am a platinum member and you would think some quality of service comes with subscribing to that membership. almost 3 weeks after the resolution of the problem. It happened again and while I understand it's the festive season, I thought someone would be delegated to take care of customer complaints/issues during the season. I have never been this frustrated with a bank like I have been with ECOBANK. Your net promotor score with me is a complete thumbs down. I bank with UNFCU and to change a password is a piece of cake. besides, the UNFCU system does not choose when to give you access or to revoke it.
Desired outcome: ECOBANK should have an online solution for passwords. I dont have to sign and scan documents and attach a passport. ECOBANK should look into its systems security (why does the system choose to block out customers?)

refund payment on POS transaction
on the 03/06/2022 at around 11:12am whiles paying for an air ticket at Arike Air
at their office at the Melitta plaza, my account was debited but the transaction was declined, the amount debited from my account was 74,801:00 (seventy four thousand eight hundred and one naira. I have logged two complaints with the bank and I'm yet to get my money back.
Desired outcome: have my money repaid to my account immediately, as I'm a student and this is my upkeep money

ecobank filial in the suburbs of Kipe Conakry is always always busy, to make a deposits or withdrawal you need to spend average of 2 - 4HOURS on waiting for my time. today I entered on 2 P.M. and left on 6 P.M. like my time has no value, but moreover like nobody from the bank team even consider it ( even no water to offer). I think that it is a time that they enlarge the client service by adding more cashiers...

I Musa Isa with EcoBank Account [protected] and phone Number [protected], a debit of #2000 occurs on my account trying to withdraw from Union bank ATM machine in Gombe on 29/1/2019. I am a customer who has been with your institution about 8 years, I do not think I deserve to be treated such by forging my card to be used at a Point of Sale. I have never been to France. For my card, information to be use at a Point Of Sales means it was a combination of hardware and software built to carry out business operations. I am a Liberian working in Somalia and trusted Ecobank Liberia Limited so much to save back home so it beats my imagination for 2402.19 USD to be taken without further authorization from my account.
I am really counting on your group board to help since Ecobank Liberia Limited has refused to update me on the status of the ongoing investigation. I have a case number but due to poor customer service at the institution, no one has reached out to me. Feedback is very vital for business to engage in with its customers. I have exchanged several email with agents from the institution and no one seems to response to my plight. Association of African Central Banks since Ecobank refused to respond. I am also reaching out to your group head office. I am very disappointed how such a bank would treat customer.

In September this year I was introduced to Mr. Ricardo Garrido, a "so-called" liaison from ECOBANK with whom I made a transaction to obtain a loan. For three months I sent an estimate overall amount of over 2000 dollars and the last transaction somehow was not received, or so he claims. I never got the loan and lost the money I sent. I was so gullible to believe it was possible to operate with an overseas bank. I keep a copy of all e-mails sent over this period of time, and would like to call on these people to the proper authorities. I worry because of identity theft given that he requested a scanned copy of my ID
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Email says Im on the list to be compensated $100, 000 for money I have lost due to scams. Anyway for any one that doesnt already know, this IS a SCAM.
