Duke properties is a mess as a landlord. Shane himself the owner can be good about things minus returning calls. His staff are unprofessional. The accounts seem incapable of keeping track of any prepayment. They regularly argue with their own lease which is half illegal. The staff mocked my disability. They can't keep a steady property manager. Then when you have valid complaints they argue against the laws. They hire drunken contractors who drink on the job half [censored] said job. Everyone to include contractors complain. Then they offer you money back and threaten eviction? Contractors say they don't pay.
Not that a bunch of drunks who can't do the job right should be complaining. In short as I said Shane the owner is okay. The staff seems ignorant combative and discriminatory, and always up to undermining him. Then we are made out to be [censored] for going to him over them. They twist everything entirely. All to cover their incompetent and undermining behaviors. Like I said what a mess.

My wife used to get sick from all the mouse droppings and mildew from the ac in the attic that they still ain't fixed. The back bedroom got a busted window since we moved in 2019 and the landlord knows about it but ain't doing nothing. They just told me to get mouse traps. Now they're trying to kick me out since I complained. During my wife's memorial in February, both bathrooms and the kitchen flooded and there was poop all over the place. We contacted the landlord but it took them 4 days to fix it. I got pictures to prove it. Used to pay $950 for rent but now they bumped it up to $1500 and still ain't fixing nothing.
