On March 16, 2024 I was stalked by a 5 foot woman strawberry blonde hair and glasses (whom I believe to be Discount Drugmart #45 Canton Road, Akron Ohio “undercover” security guard). I ran into her a few months back in the hair dye area of the store and actually believed I was helping her match a hair dye to her hair color, so it wasn’t so bad. Then a couple weeks ago I was like “I think that’s the lady I helped with hair dye awhile back” but by Saturday 3/16/24 it dawned on me who she was and what was going on. I kept catching her near me and she’d always do this theatrical turn around. I almost said something, “like hey why don’t you stalk someone that’s not in the isle with the locked up colognes and literally can’t steal anything, (even if I wanted to) but is also buying $70 cologne.. because you almost cost them my business and money” but seeing that I was on my way to a birthday I didn’t. She’s going to run good quality customers off.. you should probably hire someone new.

My husband had gotten a pound and a half of ground beef from the store, and I made a meatloaf. Liking it so much, because the fat content was almost perfect, the next day I went to purchase even more, and make another, larger batch. I went around noon to and when I went to the back where the deli is (where they have the meat) I found most of the shelf empty with only ground chicken.

When I where the ground beef was told that there was none. That the manager had not ordered any...something along those lines. Of course, since I came there to make a meal I had planned, I was very upset. I even put back the fleece hoodie I had planned to buy my husband and the items needed to make the meatloaf because now I had no ground beef.

However, when my husband got home, and I relayed what had happened he told me that someone had to go in the back and get the meat for him. Because this was a few days prior, when he went, and they still had the meat in the back and not packaged for sale, I was very upset. It seemed like all the rest of the urban stores I have to shop at, living in Cleveland, Drug Mart has filled their store with workers that lack any kind of work ethic. Even the managers, it seems, must do little to nothing there- especially if there is never much meat packaged.

I really liked the price of the meat and the ground meats quality. But the fact that the meat is never packaged- Not everyone is going to ask a worker to go find them ground meat- the only reason my husband asked, I am sure, is because of his sight. Because there is only a deli counter in the back, not a meat counter where a customer can get the packaged product. It looks like it should be packaged and put out for customers to buy. It's that the Drug Mart where I live, the workers and managers can't seem to do this. And I can only imagine the loss of profit from the fact this particular store can't seem to get products, even meat, on the shelf to sell it.

So, this is the end of my dependence on Drug Mart to have a product when I need it. This is the first time I have gone to pick up meat at a store and have absolutely none there. Or, if it was there, get none at all. In actually stood there and didn't know what to do for dinner- I hadn't planned anything at all but meatloaf for the day and my back was hurting so bad that I didn't have the ability to look elsewhere- I needed to go home and rest it.

And that's the problem for those of us that are getting older and have medical issues that pop up- like my bad back and neck. I only have so much time, energy and the ability to do so much. And when something like this happens, when a store that carries a product that they should not run out of does...

But, to hear from my husband that it was probably in the back of the store and that the two employees I had asked about it (the lady who worked behind the deli counter and one packing one of the coolers) did nothing to help me get it- well thanks, Drug Mart and the employees of this particular store. From my point of view, they are getting a salary they don't deserve because you have only done a job when you do something to help make the life of someone else easier. After all, isn't that why we pay people to do things for us? One just sat there, the other, completely dismissed me and went about stacking things that were already there.

And this is the second product I have wanted that they didn't have- the first was a heating pad I went to buy again after the first one died after months. All out of those I bought a massager which was not worth the 13 dollars I wasted on the useless thing- I got one that really worked on Amazon a few weeks later for a couple bucks more. I have really learned that Drug Mart is a useless store anymore, outdated, too small to compete with others that have the same products so the things they carry may are basically useless products. And now they aren't even putting food on their shelves they have in the back or didn't order any at all, but customers think they carry these products.

I am done shopping at Drug Mart until they get themselves together, carry the right number of products to have for customers and sell quality items, other than defective ones. The one thing they had that was good is the meat- of course no one wants to package it up that works there. That would be actual work and it seems that is too much to ask of employees.

After calling in for refills on Sunday I was told it they would be ready after 3 the same day for pick up Today Tuesday I go to pick up only one prescription was ready the other I had to come back and get. This is not the first time this has happened at the Ontario store on Biggs Dr This is the reason I quit going to Walmart because I got tired of making two trips and I was warning if you are now a division of Walmart your service is really going down hills especially at the store

About 3 weeks ago I stopped by the store on Ontario to get a flu shot. When I told the pharmacy tech I wanted a flu shot she looked at the pharmacist and he said they were 4 hours behind. I asked if I could fill out the paperwork and return in 4 hours. The answser I got was it would be best if I took the paperwork home and brought It back sometime the middle of the next week. I waited about a week and a half and returned with the paperwork. When I got in the pharmacy area there was 1 other person at the counter. When she finished her transaction I stepped up to the counter and placed the paperwork on the counter and requested a fle shot. Again I was told that they were about 4 hours behind. I looked around and saw no one else waiting so I asked if they would put me on the waitlist and I would come back in 4 hours. I assumed this is how they were doing things since no one else was there. Once again I was told come back another day. The last time I visited the store was on the 19th. What kind of game are they playing in the store. It is strange that the store would be behind the exact amount of time twice within a week and a half with no one else waiting. I took the use of the same excuse as the stores desire to not serve me.

There is an assistant manager at the Shelby, Ohio Drug Mart who is driving away customers and causing employees to quit. She yells at employees in front of customers and is rude to customers. I have many friends who say they won't even go in there if she's working. We know she usually works afternoons and evenings, so we avoid those times. I've also talked to employees who are terrified of her. I also know of employees who have quit strictly because of her. I can't believe she works there still, much less that she's in any kind of management position. Her name is Marlene and she is doing a great deal of damage to this Drug Mart. Something needs to be done.

Hi am currently in Renal and liver failure and just had a hip replacement. Coming down off of opiates. Doctor wrote a prescription and pharmacist not only refused to fill it she treated me like a street drug addict. I requested my prescription back and asked her not to write on it but she wrote on it to impede another pharmacist fill it. How can she go against my Dr? I'm so disappointed! I was and still have to be in the future the customer of drug mart Lakewood. Even though I have had multie times that my medication, that I desperate need to get thru my day, would be ordered wrong or not ordereda at all. And I would be stuck to wait the days the next few days and titis up. Ice asked before what about the second location. I would be replied with sarcasm, kurtness and tell me that don't normally do that. My questioni is what do you do?
