I ordered some cleaning products on 10/13/09 and have not received any shipping information, nor the products. I call them and all you get is a recording to leave your name and number - I have done this 3 days now and have not yet received a return call.
I would not order anything from this company again.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I ordered an Oreck Steam It mop and it worked great until it stopped working. Their website says it has a 1 year warranty. I contacted them and I was told to contact Oreck directly to see IF I have the warranty. Oreck was extremely helpful and after looking into the matter they informed me that Discount Cleaning Products is not an Authorized Dealer so I do not have a warranty. Oreck also informed me that they would be contacting Discount Cleaning Products to make sure their products are removed from their website since they are falsely advertising. I contacted Discount Cleaning Products and was given the run around. Even though Alyssa/Amanada (same person) assured me the Supervisor would contact me - I am sure I will not hear back. I would not recommend ordereing from this company. I could tell immediately that they will not take care of their customers.
I purchased 20 cases of ponchos (20/case) to carry to India on a humanitarian trip for a leper colony on 8/10. My order was cancelled due to the product being discontinued, but they never told me that. It was only after I called them two weeks later that I found out they cancelled my order. I ordered the same quantity in a different color. Upon receiving the items today, only 20 ponchos (total) were shipped. We depart on Friday (9/9) and are packing the items for travel on Tuesday (9/6). Their inferior service and inadequate communication now have not only assured that I will not get the product from them, but also cannot get the products from any other company without paying exorbitant shipping rates.
I just started purchasing items from Discount Cleaning Products this past November and have no complaints. The prices are great, delivery is prompt, and they have returned the one call I made. I'm cautious too, but am glad I took a chance on this company.
I think Discount Cleaning Products is a great company. Low prices, fast shipping and excellent customer service. I placed my order with them over the phone and got my order within 3 days. I recommend to everyone!
I ordered vacuum cleaners for my carpet cleaning business on December 4th. I was charged on December 7th and haven't gotten the vacuums yet. I called the company multiple times and, like you, was told that they were "busy" and to leave a message. I was able to speak with a woman once, but was told that she would get back to me. Of course, that has yet to happen.
I would definitely say that this is a scam. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
I started google them online as the original site namesutrust.com is down and found out they changed their name to discountcleaningproducts. I have a similar story. I am not sure if they are scaming people or not. I ordered online back in september, I was able to get in touch with them once a month later to ask about my order and the person said they would get right to it but it is not december and still nothing. they won't answer the phone either, always saying they are busy and to leave a message which I did many times over. where do we go to report malpractice as I have been billed for it already.
