Desertcart review: Beware of desertcart membership scam

Desertcart is, in my experience, a company that deceives customers through its membership program. I initially found a product on their website through Google at an attractive price. However, after placing my order, I later discovered that I had apparently been enrolled in their PRO membership program.

The company claims that customers receive a free trial for one month and that if the membership is not cancelled within 30 days, an annual fee of SAR 817 will be charged. The problem is that I was never clearly informed about these terms, nor did I knowingly agree to any condition authorizing Desertcart to deduct SAR 817 from my account after the trial period.

To my surprise, I suddenly received a notification from my bank stating that SAR 817 had been charged to my card. I immediately contacted Desertcart customer support, and their representative claimed that I had accepted the membership terms when placing my first order. I honestly do not recall agreeing to such a condition, and I believe the membership details were not presented transparently.

As a customer, I feel misled by this practice. Therefore, I urge others to be very careful when using this website. Please read all terms and conditions carefully and monitor your subscriptions closely to avoid unexpected charges.
