Extremely Disappointed with DentaQuest — Serious Customer Service and Billing Concerns

My experience with DentaQuest has been extremely frustrating and alarming. Based on the problems I have personally encountered, I believe DentaQuest needs serious reform in the way it handles dental claims, customer service, and employee training.

One of the most troubling experiences involved basic mathematics and insurance reimbursement. A DentaQuest customer-service representative told me that if a dentist submitted a claim for $1,500, DentaQuest would pay the dentist $1,650. That explanation made absolutely no sense to me and raised serious concerns about whether some representatives adequately understand the claims and reimbursement process they are explaining to customers.
