DeMonte Medical Billing Solutions

I signed up with DeMonte Medical Billing Solutions on September 15. Since then, I have had trouble getting credentialed and billing insurance companies. I tried to contact the owner multiple times to let her know that my practice was being negatively affected by their slow process. When I asked why it was taking so long, Joanne said it was because of COVID. I asked for updates, but was told there were none.

On January 27, 2022, I asked if I could accept Oscar Health insurance and was told I could. I scheduled a therapy session, but when I asked about the copayment, I was told it was a mistake and that DeMonte had not secured benefits for the patient yet. I had to see the patient without getting paid because of all the issues with the billing company.

I asked Joanne for the names of the insurance companies they had contacted for credentialing, but she said she couldn't give me that information because Alisha was out of the office. I emailed the next day, but got no response. The day after that, I asked again for the information and said I would contact the insurance companies myself, but still got no response.
