DecorMyEyes.com / EyewearTown - Don't use Paypal as a form of payment but advertise as such and then will charge you if you pick paypal as an option of payment

I was trying to order a pair of sunglasses on 6/30/2010 (MARC JACOBS 098 in the D28AZ color for $217.00) on decormyeyes.com web site and I was trying to pay with my Paypal charge (credit account) account because that was a given option of payment on their web site. So I selected the sunglasses in my cart to order and when I selected to pay for the sunglasses by Pay Pal I was routed to a page stating that "We noticed that you tried to checkout with Pay Pal and had experiences a problem. We apologize for the inconvenience that has been caused in trying to use PayPal.I am sorry to report that we are still working out the integration infrastructure and connectivity and it's uncertain when this problem will be resolved. Please use an alternate payment method such as Visa/MasterCard/Amex or Discover to pay with a Credit Card or Debit Card. " I wanted to use Paypal only so I did not continue with the order. Nothing was paid for. The vendor sent me email asking me why I did not pay for the glasses as of yet & that they were still in the shopping cart. I told them that I did not want them. I purchased the sunglasses on another site that allowed me use to Paypal. I was told I had to pay 20% to cancel the order? I was like what order no transaction occurred. So the next few days I received harassing email saying that they will take me to small claims court & destroy my credit. I responded saying I will not be forced to pay for something that I did not want anymore & also if Paypal was not an option on their web site why have that as a payment option on the web site that is entrapment. I also told them to stop emailing me which they did not any I will see them in court if need be. I saved all there emails and my responses. Unbeknownst to them I contacted Paypal because I have their credit card I was told by Paypal that the company Decormyeyes.com have issues with Paypal and they should not have them as a payment option on their website.

I purchased frames from this company in December. I was charged and have received no product. I have since asked for a refund since it is almost four months since my order. I first asked for a refund in February, but still nothing. I have called multiple times, written emails and was told I was going to receive a refund, but nothing. This is theft and fraud and I highly recommend never ordering from this company.

I placed an order for a specific frame. A couple of days later, I received an email from Stanley Bolds letting me know that those frames have been discontinued. A day later I noticed that the charge has been made to my credit card for the price of the frames. I called DecorMyEyes and requested the refund. I have not seen my refund to date.

Thank you for your hard work and following up on this order.

We got the frame today and my wife was extremely happy to receive this package.

Great job and thanks again .

Thieves and scammers! I ordered my glasses with my credit card. They emailed me a couple of days later telling me that my choice is discontinued. I told them to cancel my order since they could not give my the product I ordered and they want to charge me a cancellation fee. I received multiple insolent emails daily from them because I asked for my money back. I called my charge card company and reported DecorMyEyes so I thankfully am getting my full credit and they get nothing from me like I got from them. Note and Beware: DecorMyeyes is SAME COMPANY AS EYEWAREUS.COM.

This person the customer service rep from Decor My Eyes and Eye Wear Us Tony Russo also threatened me on my cell phone and home phone on numerous occasians after I disputed payment from my credit card for not recieving the glasses. I then reversed the disputed after his numerous threating emails and phone calls and started a case with UPS. I never got the glasses or the refund due to family issues and 8 months later, Tony Russo starts sending me emails and calling my home phone and my cell phone laughing at me that I never got my sunglasses or my refund to which he said he went out and had lobster with my money. What follows are the copied emails he sent me. I had to tell him on my phone any communication I recieve from him would be harassment. All of the following emails were sent by Tony Russo from the Decor My Eyes and Eye Wear Us website.
#1 I got my money back and you never got ### from me Hey ### did you realize you never got your money back?
Ahahahah #2 "You’re a cockhead you disputed my charge and you got what you deserved.
I pee on you and if you took the right approach the 1st time this would NOT have happened.
I went to dinner today and had lobster I appreciate you paying for it"
###!
How did you miss that NON REFUND anyway>? Did you forget to fill out a dispute form?
The money was all in your hands already all you had to do was respond to the paper."
#3You should its been 1 year you cant dispute after 6 months ###er
Such a sucker wow!
Is this the kind of company you want to do buisness with?

Miracles exist. The fraud division of my credit card company actually declined my payment to decorsmyeyes.com (in error), although the card was in good standing. I subsequently received daily emails from "Tony" wanting to know when he could ship my frames. By then, I had read all about decormyeyes.com online and would never buy anything from them. A representative from the fraud division assured me that I would not be responsible for unauthorized purchases, so I didn't close the account. I did email "Tony" repeatedly that I was not interested in purchasing from him at this time. Well, about 3 weeks later, I got another call from the fraud division that my account had been closed due to a fraudulent transaction from decormyeyes.com, and I was being issued a new card. "Tony" actually shipped something (an empty box? frames from the dollar store?), informing me that I could send them back and pay only the 20% restocking fee. (Is he crazy or what?) I refused delivery from UPS, and I'm letting the fraud investigator deal with "Tony."

Prospective buyers from decormyeyes.com please note: I was able to buy those designer frames CHEAPER at my local optical shop, and I just love them! The online prices are terribly inflated!

Mia my sympathies are with you. These people are total thieves and scam merchants. On top of that they are the rudest most arrogant people I have had the misfortune to encounter

Bought a pair of sunglasses from Decormyeyes.com. NO PROBLEMS with my purchase. Sunglasses arrived as described. Fast shipping. I've read some bad reviews about the owner and his websites but from my experience these complaints are unfounded. I would definately buy from them again. Prices are the best online.

This guy selling glasses at DecorMyEyes is agresive and incredibly pushy! I decided not to buy from him and then he flooded me with e-mails telling him that I have to buy from him! Was hard to believe!

DecorMyEyes.com / EyewearTown - Bad Business Practice

I purchased a frame (Oliver Peoples Deacon) from this company in April paying $227 and subsequently sent it back on April 26 along with a pair of lenses (uncut), which I had purchased for $150 at apairofshades.com for them to cut and fit into my new frame. The package was sent via US Postal Service Certified Mail on April 26. I had called DecorMyEyes.com first to confirm if this was possible and they agreed to process the order (the order # was 504024) as a compliment for being a customer provided I pay for shipping charges ($12). According to the US Postal Service, the package (frame and lenses) was delivered and accepted by DecorMyEyes.com on April 28, at noon. They sat on the package until April 6 and informed me via email that they don't have the lenses and can't process the order unless I purchase a new pair of lenses from them. They asked me to respond within 24 hours otherwise they will send back the frame without the lenses. Not only did they denied having misplaced and dumped the lenses in the garbage, their manager/owner (Tony Russo) angrily cursed/yelled and called me names such as stupid, idiotic, and being Jewish for sending in the lenses in order to save a few bucks while without offering to pay or replace the lenses. As a customer just discovering his lenses were lost due to someone's carelessness, I should be the person being upset here not Tony Russo. During the conversation, he did suggest it could be misplaced and thrown in the trash by his staff. Now, due to his staff's incompetent and carelessness, they have lost my lenses costing me more than $150 including shipping charges and not mention time wasted and headaches.

I will never do business with this company again. All I want to know if there is any recourse against this company for their incompetent and carelessness? It is difficult to imagine that this company can continue doing normal business for what they have done to me? I am asking BBB to please intercede to correct their business practices to prevent this from happening to other customers...

Why didn't you give it to apairofshades.com to finish? I had a great experience with apairofshades and he can get you all the frames for the same low price!
