I am so tired of the back and forth with this institution . I registered for the matric correspondence .I was told there would be study material and lessons that are provided as well. I have filled out a refund because I feel like I was scammed by this institution . Its been 5 months I've received no feedback regarding this . My account has been handed over and my credit has been affected immensely . Why am i expected to pay an outstanding balance when I did not benefit whatsoever . This institution is so quick to demand money but cannot hold their promise . I am extremely disappointed that I have to beg for my money .This institution is filled with thieves and scammers. You demand money upfront but cannot pay back the money thats owed to me . I want my [censored]ing refund and this stupid account written off. I WILL GO TO THE NEWSPAPERS ABOUT THIS INSTITUTION

My daughter is studying via correspondence as she has finished Matric and was fortunate enough to get a job straight after school, and therefore the distance learning option was taken.

Genevieve has had nothing but trouble from Damelin. I have called Damelin, her father has called, my daughter has called and still no-one is able to assist my daughter and I find this kind of service (shall I say lack of service) abominable.

This is a young lady of 20 years old who decided to study with Damelin as I used to work in the Exam department many years ago and recommended that she study through Damelin because Damelin is a reputable institution, well were we in for a shock.

This child is paying for her own studies and is trying very hard to obtain some form of education but your institution is holding her up and the experience she is having with you is shocking.

I am going to take this matter further and contact the Ombudsman about this, because no-one has had the common decency to get hold of us and let us know what she needs to do in order to move forward. She needs to register for her exams and she cannot as she keeps being told her results are being withheld due to her account not being paid. Now, I ask you, how the hell is that possible if her bank account is being deducted every month (without fail) for her studies, and yet, when she wants to get her results she's told that her account is not paid up.

I find this kind of behaviour from an educational institution shocking, is this really how BUSINESS is done. If so, then I'm afraid we are all in a lot of trouble as this is not business, it's a load of rubbish. Damelin is very quick to deduct money from my daughter's account every month and when she asks to be shown the same common courtesy she is told that she cannot get her results.

I would like to know where I can go, in Cape Town, to Damelin and I will go show them how to actually do their jobs to sort this out, how can you treat young people like this, (in fact, how can you treat anybody like this). I want this sorted out TODAY. My daughter has been in tears for days now as her frustration has grown due to the fact that Damelin cannot get their act together.

We are completely and utterly disgusted at the terrible way this has been handled and would like this matter resolved urgently.

I have contacted DCC various times, via email and the call center.

The call center representatives are ALWAYS rude, and almost always drops the call while telling you to hold when wanting to escalate to a manager.

The managers are NEVER available. I am currently on a call and have been holding for 43 minutes and counting.

I completed my course, and now AGAIN been invited to take part in the exam.

There is a refund due to me, which surprise, surprise has not been seen to.

The call center agent proceeded to answer my call and then act like they can't hear me.

I am fed up with institutions such as yours that takes peoples hard earned money and then do not deliver ANY service. I have spent more than 3 hours in total -today only- on the phone with DCC - the consultant now decided to hang up on me... I will not stop educating people on DCC poor service on every platform I am able to find...

I registered with damelin correspondence 2 months ago, since then no study materials was provided, they gave me an empty student portal with no study materials,I have been trying to contact them and no one responds, all lines of contacts do not works expects their finance and marketing department,I have sent a formal letter to cancel from this scam but they just ignore it and hope to just keeps on taking money from my account. they have been trying to debit my account 5 times and kept on sending me a message reminding me to pay for what a service that they never provide, this is a scam, they have wasted my time and effort for my study, they should be shut down and completely closed off. Stay away from this fake institution.

Im so tired of constantly having to call or email to get no response. I filled out a refund form as advised in january and still heard nothing. I received an sms that my account will be handed over but i did not benefit from this institution whatsoever.I wish i never enrolled myself with this institution . In my option I don’t think this is very professional of Damelin to not get back to us considering this has been an ongoing request from September 2022.

I dealt with Rentse in Feb of this year and was advised that I would get some feedback by the end of that week. Still waiting…

i completed my course plus minus three years ago. i have sent many e-mails

since then and with a lot of frustration i eventually managed to get a progress

report.

i am however still waiting for the actual award or certificate.

i tried phoning damelin correspondence on the number [protected] as stated on the progress report but apparently the number does not exist.

as i have paid all fees and passed both courses i feel this is bordering on fraud!

I sent them emails for a month about completing my Diploma, they did not respond back, I live about 6-hour drive from Damelin. I then had to take the 12-hour drive as they did not respond for more than a month. They told me they had no evidence of me attending one of my modules. And I should do it over. They gave me their email address to send proof that I did attend. I sent them the assignment I submitted, the question paper I had from one of the tests we wrote. As well as other documents I had.

It's been 2 weeks now, and they have not responded again, even if I send them a follow-up email every day.

I enrolled for the matric correspondence for 2022 . It was okay in the beginning until i did not receive reminders of test. The material to study is not very helpful. They give you assignments based on school books you do not have . They do not provide the material for it . I gave up and just decided to pay the debit orders so it does not affect my credit score . Im currently fighting for a refund for over 5 k . This school is honestly a waste of time and when you escalate things via email they never respond . My refund if due next month and i still did not receive any emails regarding my refund form. If push comes to shove I will be getting a letter of demand . They are a horrible institution. Please do the right choice and not waste your time here .

My son completed his BCOM-BM in 2022 at Damelin Randburg. He was sponsored for tuition fees for 2022. I was in credit and still awaiting on my refund. I sent emails to Damelin Randburg they assisted with refund forns and was sent to Educor head office 13 May 2022. They keep giving the same generic answer its with finance and no calls can be allocated to the finance team. In December 2022 got Legal Wise involved. Still to reply. I now have to go to small claims court. Really dissapointed in the service and professional they assume to be.

I registered with Damelin and submitted all required assignments and also wrote all exams. Student number 437124

However I tried to get my updated academic record . Called several times also send message via Facebook.

The my academic record they sent previoudly was incorrect as some subjects where exluded and i passed them like ,Management 1, Small Business, Principle of business law, communication. And marketing. Also didn't receive results for financial accounting 1 D20059582-A and Management 3 assignment results D20059582-A.

Tried to send communications and to call no feedback.

Your assistance will be highly appreciated. Need to further my studies the issue have affected me in a bad manner.

This matter have affected my career negatively as I need the qualification to advance my career and my studies as well.

2019 /11/25 an amount of R16 522.00. Then again on 2020/02/26 R16 522.00 was paid again. I registered for 6 modules. Damelin only offered 2 modules an closed campus an left me stranded. I did the application for refund but still the is nothing. Account number is [protected]. I have been trying to get help but i still cant you talk to different people all the time.

It's 3 years (2019) since I wrote my last exam and all I got was exam marks without assignments. And assignments where sent separatelly via email and they are not combined.

I have complained for a long time and contacted head office a thousand times before getting the above mentioned.

I have notified them that I have changed contact details when I went to the Pretoria office but still they are not in contact.

I completed my qualification at June 2021 but I have not received the complete statement of results and the Certificate, I have been calling and emailing for one and half year now but no help and I really need my Certificate to study further and to apply for the new position at work,

And I don’t owe them nothing I paid my fees. I regret enrolling with this college is horrible!

Or if I can’t get my Certificate they must pay me back my money

I am trying to get hold of someone so that I can get a detailed transcript of the modules I have completed through Damelin. I’ve failed to complete my diploma through them, because I struggled for years just to get assignment results from them. Whenever I contact them I get no response, calling them does not help either as they always just tell me they will escalate the issue and then nothing comes from it.

I need the transcript in order to transfer ny credits over to a new college that actually cares about their students.

This has been an ongoing struggle with them since 2019.

I registered 2021 full Fees were paid by Fundi, ai cancelled because of service & dissatisfaction a fee weeks (1-2 weeks) from applying, sent all relevant details.

It’s been almost 2 years since I’ve been trying to get Damelin to refund Fundi their full amount! Imagine having to take out a student loan of more than 30K & not getting even communication? My credit score is messed up because they wont communicate or refund Fundi their full amount of 33K as I’m currently unemployed I keep getting sent from pillar to post being told that the matter is priority however no refund is paid & I no longer want the percentage offered paid back I want them to pay Fundi their money back

My name is Tsholofelo Mashao, I registered with damelin in 2010 for Paralegal Diploma which I completed 2012 it was a struggle getting my academic records which I got 5 years later after I attempted to involve EFF, then after I had 1 module to rewrite so I can get what's due to me till to this day after 100 calls and emails I cant get through to Damelin this is a disgrace as some of us only get an opportunity to study once in a life time, this has been nothing but a waste of time and money mind my age I'm not getting any younger, I'm not gonna give up I want what's due to me and I'm on urge of getting to any platform that can assist me, Even getting the EFF, media platforms and anyone who is having any dispute with Damelin to join in this movement. Money doesn't grow in tress we living in tough times... DCC needs to own up and fix this.

I registered with Damelin (Boksburg campus )on a part-time basis for Bcom business management...no communication whatsoever in terms of when the classes commences and other information including student number etc . And only when I enquire with I was told I needed to log in to the student portal something no one explained to me. The classes started way too late due not having a lectures as the previous lecture resigned which resulted in missing majority of classes and had to figure out how to study on your own. Then you have to write test to be able to qualify to write exams...the test dates were issued way too late and we were supposed to write in the evening only for Damelin to change the time slot a day before the test must be written stating that the test are going to be written during the day. After pleading with Zanele Pretty Ngwenya who Is the administrator that I WILL not be able to write the test during the day as it was short notice to request time off at work and I'm only liable for exam leave and not test leave ...my request fell on deaf ears and was told I automatically do not qualify to write exams as I missed the test. Therefore I paid my fees for absolutely NOTHING! The staff is so rude and no one is not even willing to listen...you register for Part-time and ended up being treated as a full time student due to no the incompetent of the Damelin staff. I regret ever registering with them.
