Very courteous and professional phone customer support, helpful in getting scheduled. Prompt arrival even ahead of schedule. Capable and professional drain cleaning, explaining as they went. I would recommend them again.

As always, today's service was exceptional. Brad was friendly and professional. He explained everything to me and did it in a manner I could understand. I am a faithful Dalton customer and would like Brad to always be my service rep.
Plumbing backed up in my basement on 12/29/22.Called Dalton's answering service (it is impossible to talk to anyone).They informed me they couldn't get there before 12/30 after hours but if I wanted to join their subscription service for $13 a month my call charge would be reduced to $49(i think that is the correct amount) and I would get 20% off of any parts they would need. It was well after the 5pm 'appointment' time before the technician arrived.He was there for approx 2 hours and couldn't get the drain opened up. And broke the clean out cover.He told me they would need to bring in bigger equipment, but it was currently broken.So we decided that I would have the city clean out their line and call Dalton's to let them know if that opened the line up. 8am I called the city, they were there by 8:30 and had flushed my line by 9am.I called right away and reported to Dalton's answering service.Nothing.I called again (answering service) on 12/31 and was told they weren't going to be able to get the equipment they needed until Tuesday!I hung up and called a competitor who was there within 1 hour and had my toilets working within 1 1/2 hours.When I called to speak to a manager, I spoke to two gentlemen about the situation who assured me that that was not how they normally treated 14 year customers and I could send them the Competitors *** and they would take care of it.Fast forward to beginning of Feb.My boiler went out, called Dalton, they sent a tech.He said I needed a new gas fitting of some kind, $1200. He replaced when parts came in.Boiler went down and he came back.We had some scheduling difficulties so he asked if he could check it without me there, I said yes but to be careful of my pets getting out.He assured me he would be careful. My daughter gets home at 3:30 to the back door hanging wide open, (tech was there at 10am).I called again and again, words but no action. I am still waiting for a new clean out cover over a month later. They have done nothing!

After making a thorough inspection, they replaced the furnace filter and thermostat batteries. I appreciate their technician answering all my questions and concerns.

Kyle was on call Saturday to resolve a relay switch issue we had with our furnace. All was working the day before after our fall service but the relay switch became stuck in the heat run mode and would not shut off. Kyle was quick to come out and identify this issue. Kyle was patient with us and explained how the whole system worked so we were confident with all the settings and how our furnace is suppose to function correctly. All is working great and we appreciate Dalton PHCEF for having Kyle ready to assist us on the weekend. Nice work Kyle!
We bought a home with a gas fireplace which we knew nothing about so we needed to be taught everything. *** the service manager came and lit the pilot light and explained how everything works, checked to be sure it was in good working order and left everything clean and tidy. We will definitely call them with any heating, cooling, fireplace or plumbing needs in the future!

Today we had a tech and his trainee do a check on my gas furnace and gas fireplace. Both were extremely polite and very knowledgeable. The tech repeatedly asked if I had any questions and explained step by step what he was doing. I highly recommend Dalton I even signed to their maintenance plan! Keep up the great job!

He completed an inspection of our air conditioner, educated us on the benefits of a membership, and shared specifics on fireplace options for the future. We are very pleased with his service I all aspects and prefer him to be our inspection provider for heating, cooling, and fireplace needs!

Brad Dalton provided our Spring service check on our furnace and air conditioner. He also cleaned our dryer vent from the outside. He did an excellent job both in his technical services and in explaining the work completed. He made recommendations on how we could correctly clean our air filter, heat ducts, and AC. Brad was very pleasant and professional. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Brad also gave us advice on the correct way to wear our face mask (as I was wearing it upside down!). I purchased the membership after having my fireplace cleaned ( Justin did a great job on it)
I purchased the membership after having my fireplace cleaned ( Justin did a great job on it). I decided to use the membership to have my A/C checked. I was told I needed a new Capacitor and the cost was 314 but with membership I could get it for 251. It took maybe 10 minutes to disengage and connect the new one. I looked up my A/C and found the part that sold for 21.60! After talking with other Plumbing and Heating business', they said that was WAY out of line. I went to Dalton's and inquired and was told that that price included the technician knowing what to find and the training it took. What, I am paying for training THEIR employees to do their job? Do not purchase a membership!

After buying a new house I made a huge mistake contacting Dalton Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Electric & Fireplaces to have major work done and joined their service club agreement to save money on labor and parts. On their first Furnace/Heating inspection I asked about installation of a new thermostat with WiFi since the present thermostat's Wi-Fi was not working. I was quoted $1050 for a new Wi-Fi thermostat to be installed in the exact same location in the basement or they could move it the hallway directly above running the wire through the floor and up into the hallway. Either location the price was the same, so for that price I thought might as well have them move it to the first floor. We scheduled installation for a new thermostat, I canceled the appointment the next day, because I found the exact same thermostat that they sell at *** for $200 with easy DIY installation and required only two screws and the transfer of 4 to 6 wires. I still need my air conditioning inspected since we had never used it and before the summer heat hits the area and they came out the same day inspected the air conditioning and just happened to have a Wi-Fi thermostat in the truck and installed the new thermostat in less than 15 minutes for a total service call visit and new thermostat installation with Wi-Fi for $350. I contacted Dalton Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Electric & Fireplaces to cancel my monthly $13 club service agreement. I talked to a office manager and she refused to cancel my service agreement stating I must pay for the service plan for one year. She then threatened me that if I canceled payment that I would be sent a *** to pay 20% for past services on any prior bills. I asked her to have the owner contact me, and after 2 days never heard from anybody. Why would I have Dalton Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Electric & Fireplaces do any more work for me since I lost total confidence and trust in their ability to charge me a reasonable price for the same service that their local competitor change. This was blatant price gouging.
