I ordered a steering rack for my Landcruiser on March 26, for $770.95, which included a $300 core charge. However, I still haven't received a refund for the core charge. When I received the steering rack, I realized that it was the wrong part and my mechanic discovered that the bolt holes didn't line up after installing it. This resulted in wasted labor costing me $300. I called Cruiser Parts to complain, and they explained that there are two different steering racks and I must have received the wrong one. They sent me another one, and I paid to have it installed. This whole process took a few months, and when everything was finally done, they claimed it was too late to refund the core charge. I explained that it wasn't my fault since they sent the wrong part. On August 30th, Craig, the office manager, assured me that they would send a check for the $300, but I still haven't received it, and Cruiser Parts hasn't responded to my inquiries.
