Our Residential Garage Door needed alot of work to repair: a new Spring, new Cable/Drum set and a new metal & rubber bottom, *** Tech was absolutely great - both efficient and professional.

We used Creative Door 10 years ago and were happy with the repair, so I called them again for a new issue. They arrived the next day as scheduled and the problem was fixed quickly by a courteous professional.

Our technician was very knowledgable and took the time to explain what was wrong with our garage door and how he fixed it. He also explained what to do to keep it running smoothly and ways to check for broken springs.

Our dealings with *** was awesome, very professional and easy to talk to. He also took the time to explain the problem and waited to make sure we could work the door on our own. With technicians like ***, I would highly recommend Creative Door.

My spring broke on one of my doors that we use everyday. I called and the tech ( ***) was out within a couple of days and measured the spring and gave me a temporary fix. We had the new spring installed the following week and it works great. The tech also checked out the other door to make sure it was operating properly. Very Professional.

I was very pleased with the service provided. My appointment was set up only several days away when I called, the technician arrived on time and he brought 3 samples of weather stripping for me to choose from for my garage door opening. The repair and regular garage door maintenance work were done well and quickly and the technician was friendly and helpful.

I had awesome service this morning.He arrived just before I was about to start a meeting so moved my vehicle out of the garage for me- he noticed an oil leak on my *** and let me know about it.That was over and above the actual service.The service was very good- I needed a new spring. Very efficient service tech and prompt service provided. Due to some staffing issues, there is a bit of a wait, but not too long.I needed a replacement enclosed spring as the existing one had partially failed. I was recommended to avoid using the garage door opener as the partial spring could totally fail, so my vehicle was outside as I awaited service. *** was quick to make the repair and explained my situation so I am aware of when things might go awry again. I would use them again and definitely recommend their service.

I needed my 14 year old residential garage door repaired. A number of the bracket welds were broken, some rollers were questionable and I wanted things checked out. The charge for the brackets was reasonable.*** was their repairman and he did an excellent job explaining what needed replacement and what was optional. He also gave me some good tips on what preventative maintenance measures I should be doing in the early spring and late fall to keep the door in tip top shape. I didn't get a *** that day but it was sent later by email. Some issues:- *** said the labour would be 1 hour. That seemed right. He also said I would get a 15% reduction because I was an AMA member. It also saw this on the ***, yet there was no indication I actually got the 15% discount. The labour charge was $175. Seems excessive. There was also a "Truck" charge of $10.This is always annoying.

Be aware ---- Creative Door Services are specialists in HIDDEN COST ***.We called them to fix the bolt of the commercial bay door. The services guy inspected the door and figured out that one of the bolts on the pully is broken. Guys told us they will be back with a high ladder to fix the broken bolt -- PLEASE NOTE THAT THEY DID NOT MENTION OF ANY EXTRA CHARGES FOR LADDER AT THIS POINT Services guys came back with manlift and started working-- PLEASE NOTE THAT THEY DID NOT MENTION OF ANY EXTRA CHARGES FOR MANLIFT AT THIS POINT TOO-- They fixed the issue and told me that they going to *** two hours (starting from inspecting the site to complete the task) service charges.When I got the invoice, it listed two-hour service charges of $ *** and HIDDEN COST *** of $500 as MANLIFT charges. I called the services department asking why did they not tell me about MANLIFT charges upfront --- no answer.Fool Me Once, Shame ON You!

Very friendly greeting on the phone by reception when I called in, quickly understood my request and got me over to Ed in parts. Location is well laid out to protect everyone from COVID. Lots of hand sanitizer every where right from the entrance door, various locations in store and also on parts counter. Ed in parts in Calgary is awesome, super knowledgeable and friendly. I needed a new weatherstrip for the bottom of the garage door, older Wayne Dalton from 1998, and Ed got me the right one right away. Best of all, the weather strip was cheaper than the block stores, and they had the right one, not some "universal" unit that didn't work/fit. (Universal one has "T" sides but the one I have has beaded sides.) Totally recommend you take a sample of your weather strip along to save a return trip. No attempts to up sell, no attempts to sell service for job easily done. Thanks everyone. Great job! Will come to see you again when the time comes.
