I went to Crackel barrel Sunday August 6. I purchased a grandma meal I believe. 2 pancakes, sausage, 1 bacon scrambled eggs. I purchased this meal for my 93-year-old mother. I wasn't going to complain at first, but food is expensive, and this meal was so bad. The bacon as well as the sausage was so hard and dry. the grits were terrible; however, she did eat 1 pancake. I went to the dollar store bought grits and made my mom the best grits ever, according to her.
I try my best not to complain but now food is expensive and the quality of it should be edible.
I went to the CB in Maumee, Oh. what made me go back there 2 weeks before I bought my mom dinner, the service was great, and she ate ALL her food and desert. However, there was a former Marine vet running the show that night Christine Swann, I asked her name because she was fantastic, I told her you must be a former Marine vet and a former sgt. I myself was in the in the service it was easy to recognize authority figures.
If I knew her schedule I would go every time she worked. The restrooms the floor the service was fantastic, my meal Sunday was really bad for a 93-year-old hell even for a 16-year-old.
