I ordered a lounge suite from Coricraft and have paid in full. Delivery date was meant to be the 17th November. I informed them I would be moving provinces on the 27th November and I needed to have it by then. I was even promised that they could deliver in Pretoria if needed. It is now the 5th December and I still do not have my couch. I have already paid for delivery and now I must pay again for them to deliver here as they missed the delivery date. Carpet
I’ve ordered the carpet online on the 31 August 2023 it was on sale , they called me during September that the carpet is out of stock. Then l’ve asked for refund and submitted all the documents that was requested.l’ve waited 5 to 15 working days for my refund. I didn’t receive any money in my account.l’ve asked for proof of payment but they failed to emailed me.
I’ve been calling call centre sending emails didn’t get any help, l even went to head office Coricraft Kramaville spoke to Willem Swartz still he failed to help me. All I want is my refund of R1999.00The order number is WWS030173.

Furniture, Poor Quality and Service
Wost quality furniture and zero customer service - Paid more R100 000 for garbage
My family and I purchased more than R100 000 worth of furniture earlier this year and took receipt of it in June. Less than 5 months later, our 8-seater table has split and the replacement table came with splits as well, so i returned it. To crown the insanity our leather lounge suite and dining table chairs are utterly stained. Two assessors have confirmed that something has gone wrong with the scots guard but we are just not getting anywhere with Customer Service. We have been complaining and trying to resolve this matter since Sept!

I bought a 2-seater coach 5 August (invoice CES018633) and another one on the 29 August (WWT027751), the one I bought on the 5 August was from your Centurion Shopping and after sitting on the 29 August one, I know that the 5 August (invoice CES018633) one is a used one and it is faulty I found this after sitting on the new couch received. I want to return it with you 30-day policy. I am attaching the invoices and the pictures of the coaches.

Purchase of couch
On the 16th July 2023, I went to Coricraft, I saw a couch that I was interested in the normal price is R59 999.00 There was a discount of 30% which brought the price down to R39 999.00. I did mentioned to the sales person I would have to go and measure the area at home so I am sure of that the size of the couch will fit my space. I had a picture of the area on my phone which I showed the sales person, the advice was the couch will fit as the area has enough space, I tried to highlight the importance of measuring but I was made aware the discount was ending on that day, I ordered the couch paid the deposit which was 50%.
I was given only the slip that indicates the payment. The couch has been delivered and it does not fit my place it is too big, when I want to return I am told that for ordered couches there is no return, this was not shared to me when I was buying and on the document for my layby that I was told has this condition was also not shared with me. I see the condition on the delivery slip that was left only on delivery.
I am not getting any help with this at Coricraft, The manager at Bedfordview is not available I leave countless messages for her to contact me back , she does not do so. i also called the warehouse were i was told the store must initiate collection of the couch but when I went to the store, to talk to the manager face to face, she told me that can not be done.
Desired outcome: The total amount I paid was R42 768.30 , I would like Coricraft to refund me the amount because the condition of no return on ordered couches was not shared with me. I was not given the documents that stipulates this condition.
Service
I attempted to make a purchase at makro for a laptop. R8999.00. I was informed that it was declined.. Do not honour! I took it upon myself to contact your offices whilst waiting there...38 minutes later, just listening to terrible music I am now more fustrated than ever. Finally I spoke to a very nice guy called lloyd. He transferred me as the limited must be verified to prevent fraud. Okay... Another 26 mionutes of terrible music. We attempted dual calling using our other phone... We are still waiting! 3/8/2023 from 16h00 odd

Coricraft richards bay customer service
For the purpose of this complaint pls look at your stores video footage on 7 May 2023 between 14h15 - 15h:15.
I came into the store to look at furniture to purchase. There was one worker at the till. He went on sitting at his chair by the counter despite seeing me enter the store. He didn't offer help. I initiated greeting from across the store. He replied in acknowledgement and still didn't attempt to assist me. There was no one else in the store. I asked out if the store was closed. He said no from his counter still not leaving his stool and STILL did not come to assist me. Finally I had to call him to me for assistance from across the room.
Terrible service which I hardly expect from a quality store like Coricroft. There are car guards just outside of the store who I hve no doubt would do a better job than your workers inside the store.
Further more, when I asked him to come to the furniture I had query about he promised to get back to me with feedback. It's two days later and no feedback received. This is especially frustrating since it was feedback I wanted from his 2 work colleagues - Leon and Thandeka who also neglected to keep my updated on the furniture I wanted to purchase.
As a loyal admirer and occasional buyer of your furniture this kind of service from your workers is disappointing. Though they products are good - bcs of the poor service I will find it very difficult to recommend this branch to anyone.

Poor service / workmanship / quality
I have bought 2 x couches from them and this is not the first time I have a problem with there quality off product.
My coach started to make a noise, I informed Coricraft, the had to send a assessor out to come and see first. Collected my coach for repairs🙄 on the 22/04/2023, have not received any feedback while it was with them. Received it back on the 15/04/2023 and it came back in a even worst condition than it was in. There is staples in front of the coach that was never visible before, back rest got spaces that was not there - have a photo off the coach before it left my house. Bottom off the coach is damaged.
This was noted on the delivery and no feedback.
Send an email and I received a notification they need to send a assessor out again, I have to wait 2 weeks for someone to come out again.
All this inconvenience to get my coach repaired because it is still under warranty and know I must stay without one for more then 3 weeks then I get it back and it looks like a back yard person worked on in.
There is no service no good quality and absolute poor workmanship.

Leather Couch
I bought a leather couch at Coricraft Highveld Mall which was delivered on the 18th of February 2023. The couch arrived with terrible scratch marks on it, when I notified Coricraft they said these are natural marks and they can't do anything about it since it is a manufactured product. Coricraft is insisting I keep a couch that looks old and damaged. I have been taken from pillar to post by the sales rep and manager with no luck.
Desired outcome: Please exchange or refund

A dining chair
So I purchased my chair on the 29th of jan and the lady who served me in canal walk was lovely and helped quite efficiently and gracefully. Come the time of deciding if it should be delivered or if I can collect, I decided that its better for me to collect because I stay close to woodstock like a 10min walk from the palms. Which sounds sensible right, but on tuesday I got a call from a very rude customer center lady and she was asking me where I am collecting the chair. And I told her that I did say in woodstock and she was blatantly rude that, I don;t know what I am talking about I can only collect in epping. I was soo confused then only on thursday I called canal walk, and bless the lady that helped me. She informed me that nothing had been done and that my purchase is just hanging and no one knows about it at all. So had I not called, this was going to be months on end just to get a simple purchase. For such a great furniture company, I honestly never expected such service. Its really out of hand, now I have to call in everyday to follow up with my order, like? I am honestly frustrated and disappointed
Online order not received after almost a month
I placed an order with Coricraft online on the 1st January 2023. 25 days later and I still have not received my order (Order #[protected]). I have tried emailing and I have called numerous times to no avail. I have even spoken to a manager (Claudette) and she promised to call me back. That was 2 days ago. No one is able to tell me when I should expect to receive my order. There has been absolutely zero correspondence or communication from Coricraft regarding the status of my order and I find it completely unacceptable that customers should have to chase Head office for answers. I am appalled and quite frankly angry at that way Coricraft treats their customers. I spent over R11000 on this order and to be waiting a month to receive is completely unacceptable.

Legs of a couch cracking within 2 months of use
I bought leather couches and they were delivered and assembled by the people that delivered the couches because I was not home. It has been hardly 2 months of use and the plastic legs are cracked. I phoned Vernon at Cresta and sent him pics as per his request but I have not heard from him. I am worried that time is moving and I am not getting feedback. Next thing ill be told that the couches are too old. Kindly assist

I am Elizabeth Ann Williams. Loyal Corricraft customer till now. Not so sure in the future.
Stay in Kimberley, Northern Cape. I bought goods on 23.12.2022. The throw was too small and took it back the very next day along with the room spritzer and leather cleaner. My husband said he already bought leather cleaner and room spray for Christmas.
This was 24.12.2022. I phoned a week later to check with Latechia why is the refund not reflecting in my credit card account.
She mentioned that takes 7 workings days. With all the holidays in between, should be in by 02.01.2023
I waited. With no luck. I phoned on Monday, 02.01.2023 again. I spook to another lady and gentleman. Latechia was not at work that day. They said they will have a look due to the fact that head office declined the refund.
I phoned 09.01.2023 again and again on 10.01.20.23. I phoned on 11.01.2023 again. They were in a meeting and said they will phone me back. I phoned back after 13:00.
I would like to know how it is possible for a big, well-known company to be so terrible with just paying a refund.
Staff said refund was make in store the same day. How is it that one minute head office declines and the other minute it's not reflecting on my side.

Worst service from entire staff
We bought two couches in November 2022. Upon payment they confirmed our delivery address contact number and date we would like delivery. January 2023 due to long lead times [6 weeks]. We paid and they made me sign some documents saying oh its just "procedure" we have bought many items before so didn't think much of it.
December holiday they phone us frantically saying we forgot to pay for delivery. Me having nothing but a till slip with no description on doesn't help me much (1st problem)
I told the store I spent R28k so surely that includes the delivery seeing as my house is less than 10km from the store (cradlestone) and how could I not if paid for delivery if they confirmed the address, contact person and date with us before we paid?
The store manager phoned me and said he cannot cover the cost of delivery even though he confirmed the store forgot to charge us delivery and that he would have to talk to head office. I threatened to cancel order which he said is fine they will charge me a handling fee. This took me by surprise cause I wasn't informed any of this. Apparently it's on the documents I signed. I asked for these documents which they haven't sent me yet. (January 8th 2023)
I told them we on holiday don't bother us with this rubbish. Naturally we recieved numerous calls from various people all of which are not decision makers stating they cannot deliver till they recieve payment.
My wife not wanting to fight anymore with this store gave in and paid delivery out of her pocket. Confirming deliver for 9th January 2023. We got called frantically again stating they cannot deliver as their trucks are now full [this is after my wife took leave to recieve the delivery].
The staff at the store and the store manager simply say it's not them it's the delivery people and we must take it up with them. The store manager said he doesn't care if we don't buy from them any longer as our business is not important to him and his store. What an absolute Joke!
I tried to speak to Coricraft Head office and nothing. Pushing me from pillar to post. My company, my friends and family will never use this store again or coricraft as a company for that matter. Worst service ever recieved and such a pity as there products are good.
I would love for the head office to contact me, tell me and show me what action they have taken to the store manager and staff.
What actions they will take to ensure this never happens again to any of their customers and frankly compensation to my wife who has lost a days leave as well as tried her best to fix the situation by paying the delivery out of her pocket!
