In December 2024, I made many several attempts to cancel my mother's Medical Alert subscription. I was put on long, unanswered holds. I was only able to speak to their representative by using an extension specified for other reasons. After mailing back the medical alert, Connect America charged my mother's card another monthly service fee. Then in January 2025, she received charges for a MedReady Medication dispenser. Emailing their representative, I was told Connect America called my mother, who is 97 and disabled, on the phone and she agreed to this service. My mother said that she did not. So, I asked for the phone call transcript and never received it. My brother returned the unopened, unordered box to Connect America. I disputed the charge with my mother's credit card company and won the dispute. In an email I informed Connect America that my mother has no service or product agreements with them and to cancel her account. Now, Connect America is mailing my mother invoices showing "Recurring Charge" (no other information shown) for something she never ordered. This needs to stop, no more bills or contact for unrequested, unpurchased services and products.
Desired outcome: I want Connect America to email me stating that my mother has no current product or service agreements with them, that they will never contact her again, and will delete all her previous account information, including credit card info.
