We are a small business that was cash only but decided to accept cards to make it easier for the customers. Because our average ticket prices are low, some of the card processors' fee do not make business sense for us. Our company has been looking for a solution to our antiquated credit card processing system for several years. I had been introduced to the Cardpointe processing system through a part time position I held elsewhere and was immediately impressed with the system. I reached out to the sales rep for additional information to present to my company. He went above and beyond gathering data for comparison to our current system and presenting upper management with all kinds of facts and figures. We have been charged unlawful

Back in February, I received a call from Card Connect Paradise soliciting my business, pretending to be my current merchant account company, Fiserv, offering their Virtual terminal. Due to the closure of my Photo Lab business that was affected by Covid-19, I called Fiserv on June 1st and asked them to close my account. Soon after, by checking my bank statement, I noticed I was still being charged and called Fiserv. They told me the charges were coming from a different company named Card Connect Paradise and gave me their phone number. I called them early August and asked them to close my account and complained about the charges as well as not informing me about being a different company when they called to open the account. [Name of representative] took the call, closed the account by giving me the ticket # [ticket number], and promised me to look into the charges and talk to his boss before getting back to me. I have called several times and left him messages as well as sending emails, but no answer yet.
