I bought a cell phone and the phone screen went blank. I took the phone in for repairs as it was under warranty. I took it in April.. 2008. Eventually in June they called to say the phone is ready and was fixed. When I went to the counter to test the phone the same problem occurred. I told them I will not accept the phone. They sent it in again and about August 2008 they said it will now cost about R380 to repair at which I refused as how can they first fix it then come back and say now there is a charge. After many calls etc they were then finally prepared to pay for the damages. In November I was told the phone now is un-repairable and is BER which is beyond economical repair. (now according to the warranty that Nokia holds that if it cant be repaired they must replace it with the same make and model - if not they must replace the handset with the replacement phone) they wanted to give me an old second hand phone that used to belong to someone else. Eventually in February when I got the secondhand phone and refused to take it and told them about Nokia's warranty they refused to listen. Now they say they won’t replace the phone as it is out of warrantee. When I took the phone to them in April last year 2008 the phone was still under warrantee. Now I get a call from Woolworths saying that they no longer want to deal with me.. I am out of options and now don’t know what to do or who to call.

Please assist.

Gregg
