Walkfit Platinum charges

I ORDERED A PAIR OF WALKFIT WHICH WAS SUPPOSEDLY 19.95 ON THE WEBSITE AND CHARGED IT. I MADE SURE I ORDERED REGULAR DELIVERY. AS I WAS ABOUT TO SUBMIT THEY OFFERED YOU ANOTHER PRODUCT CALLED COMFORT CUSHIONS FOR THE PRICE OF 29.90 WHICH I CAN RETURN IF I DID NOT LIKE IT. I RECEIVED THE ORDER LAST WEEK FOR THE TOTAL OF 68.65 IF I CHOOSE TO KEEP THE COMFORT CUSHIONS OF WHICH THE 24.85 WAS SHIPPING AND HANDLING. THIS IS A TOTAL RIPOFF FEE. THE PACKAGE I RECEIVED COULD NOT HAVE COST MORE THAN $3.00 FOR SHIPPING AND THEREFORE THE TOTAL SHIPPING SHOULD HAVE NOT BE OVER THAN 9.95
NOW IF I CHOOSE TO RETURN ANYTHING I WOULD HAVE TO PAY MORE SHIPPING THAT IS WHY I THINK THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL RIP OFF CO.

Walkfit Platinum Unethical business practices

I ordered the walkfit orthodic product. Customer service was poor, but the product was acceptable when finally received. However during the order process, I elected a 'free' gift for joint support formula. As is typical with these types of 'internet free gifts', the free gift triggered an online 'subscription', whereby the company continues to send product and bill your credit card for the charges.

This company's business practices are unethical. Once I triggered this free gift, I could not get Customer Service by phone to cancel the subscription. Nor could I get them to provide the order information or terms that or copies of any commitments I made authorizing these transactions. Supervisors supposedly exist, but are 'unavailable' and unable to return calls. I tried repeatedly, calling on the hour for 6 hours straight.

The sad part of all of this, is that their core product is actually decent. Their sideline is however how they apparently make revenue and their business practices are very unsavory.

Walkfit Platinum Do not order from them

Do NOT order walkfit inserts/orthotics from WALKFIT, LLC www.walkfit.com (website)...located in Rancho Cusamonga, CA. they are the manufacturers of walkfit orthotics inserts (a great product by the way). I placed the order, entered my credit info, etc...expected to see the final invoice page for the grand total (shipping, tax, etc). Well, there wasn't one. There was no email with invoice. The next morning, I had a charge for $89.60 on my checking account (the inserts are only $20 each, I ordered 2) and no idea why until I got the package and found out they charged me $29.80 shipping for a package that totaled ONE OUNCE in weight! It's only costing me 4.80 to send the order back PRIORITY for a refund but, of course, there is no refund on shipping :( what a ripoff! I have written and called with no response. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB...they shouldn't be allowed to get away with this. They are making an additional $25.00 on every order that won't be refunded!

After trying the Walkfit insoles and determining they weren't acceptable, I followed the return instructions for my "100 percent guaranteed refund". After waiting for months, I called the company and they said they never received the return package. I mailed it just as instructed and I have no way to prove they received it or not.
It's a bogus company-I wish I would have read the complaintsboard before ever ordering! They give you a free gift of foot lotion that looks full size in the picture but when you get it it's tiny. Don't buy from this company!

Walkfit Platinum Scam

I received product from Walkfit even though I did not order anything and they have now charged by debit card. I will now have to make several long distance phones calls to try and get the funds returned to my checking account.

I previously ordered some insoles to put in my shoes and this is how they managed to get my debit card number. I recommend to any customer, not to give out your credit or debit card number as you will probably be receiving items in the mail that you did not order.

Am not happy with this company and will not order anything again.

Walkfit Platinum Scam

Please! save yourself some trouble and hard earned money: DO NOT ORDER WALKFIT PRODUCTS.

When you place an order for the WalkFit product as advertised on TV for $19.95 it will be placed through an automated system which will tell you you'll be receiving some supplement pills (Joint Support Formula a $39.99 value). As it is automated you have no choice but to receive the pills along with the advertised product and when you get your invoice it will be for almost $50! Nothing close to what you expected. Why? Well when you place an order you "enroll" yourself in the Joint Support membership (the pills) for $39.90, plus tax $3.92, plus shipping $4.95 for a grand total of $48.77!
The number for customer service listed on the invoice does not get you in contact with the company, fishy isn't it? I actually read a previous complaint on this website in which the real customer service number was listed. When I finally spoke to a representative he could not explain why the $19.95 product is not an option on their automated ordering system. Instead he proceeded to explain that you "clearly get a letter stating that you must call to cancel your membership" if you don't want to be ripped off! How was I supposed to cancel a membership I wasn't aware of purchasing to avoid getting charged if the letter stating so arrived with the product? This is a total scam. Also when I asked to immediately cancel, the representative asked, "Well have you tried the pills?" As if these pills would magically make me forget that your company just tried to scam me.

A final warning! If you are going to return the product you must call them with a Delivery Confirmation # (aka tracking #) given to you by the parcel company you use. Also an authorization # must be put on the package. This number I got when I spoke with the WalkFit rep, who by the way freaked out when I told him about the money back guarantee on the website. He put me on hold at the mention of this guarantee so make sure you ask!

As noted above, I had the same experience. I received an email notifying me of an order that I had not placed. I called [protected]. Thanks to the first person that posted.

NOTE: customer service rep. advised me to NOT OPEN and mark the package refused. return postage will be on Walkfit. they will credit my account upon receipt of returned package.

There are equivalent products that cost considerably less!

Walkfit Platinum Overcharging

Walkfit posts a price on the website and when you order they change the price and overcharged my credit card almost double. When I filed a complaint their service agents gave me a big ### runaround and would not cancel my order. They also charged $9.95 for a fast ship, which I did not request and tacked on an additional $39.95 shipping and handling charge which was in addition to their $9.95 shipping charge for each item. They are theives and will not work with you to make things right. They know that credit card companies will give you a hard time to file a dispute and will hang up the phone on you. Do not deal with this company. The orthotics are very cheaply made and are not worth anything and do not work. Use caution...

Walkfit Platinum Overcharged and no communiction

WalkFit overcharged me by $9.95. I authorized them to charge me $19.95 for the product and $9.95 for shipping. They charged me $19.95 for the product and $19.90 for shipping. I sent them an email on March 21, 2009 requesting a refund and despite there autoreply email stating that they would respond within 48 to 72 hours I have not had a response in 4 months.

Likewise, I ordered the walkfit and was charged a additional $24.85 for rush shipping. I no for a fact that I did no order them rush shipping. Of course when I called and asked if I sent them back would my $24.85 be returned and was told no, only the cost of the cushions would be refunded. I am quite livid about this rip off. I did not authorize this amount.

Walkfit Platinum Ripped Off by them

Walkfit Ripped Me Off of $44.85 on 11-24-2008 and an email from Walkfit Verifying their Treachery is included.

Walkfit is apparently in business to rip people off; But, is this the idea of the creator of the product or of a money grubbing underling? We many never really know the truth to that question.

I was ripped off for $44.85 so I of course sent several emails (one of them enclosed) stating what had happened and what I was going to do if the situation was not rectified. The representative I got was actually a nice guy who was apparently caught in the middle between an irate customer and a rip off boss. I very seldom ever use a phone because I live with a closed Head Injury and most of the time cannot talk "normally." It takes me quite a while to get out what I want and/or need to say but this time I was able to convey my message and I will admit, though I was striving very hard to keep myself in check I was yelling at him. His calm voice and reassuring tone soon calmed me down and he wasn't pushing for information like most of the people you get do so I was finally able to tell him what happened to me.

He canceled the order (Or So I Was Told) and any future orders (I bet you didn't know that the company sneaks a letter in your order making YOU responsible to keep them from STEALING you money. They set it up so that Even if you did NOT order any of the CRAP Powders and other CRAP they push, you have to call and tell them NOT to RIP YOU OFF. If you do not make the call the wording of the RIP OFF FORM gives them your permission to most literally RIP YOU OFF Forever!

I have checked my account repeatedly and the $44.85 was moved from Pending to Posted AFTER I talked to their Representative so the money was now Officially STOLEN. Being disabled and living on a very fixed income, that money was set aside for our Thanksgiving Feast but thanks to Walkfit things were leaner this year and I bet Walkfit does not CARE at all.

I will NEVER do business with this pack of thieves again and I hope no one else gets Ripped Off like I was. The best way to insure you don't get ripped off is just Not to do business with them; that is until they discover a way to sneak one of their rip off letters into something else: how they could do that I do not know but after this incident I will not put anything past their greed.

After sending another email to Walkfit I received the following Email from one of their Representatives.

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your email. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you in regards to Joint Support Formula.

We would be glad to explain this to you that when you placed the order for the Walk fit, a trial offer of Joint Support Formula was offered, and your Walk fit and trial offer arrived with a letter advising that unless we received a call to cancel, you would continue getting future orders.

However we have canceled the continuity on your order. You will not be receiving any further shipment of joint support formula.

If you have any further questions please feel free to call customer service at [protected]. Our working hours are from 7:00am - 9:00pm Monday through Friday and 7:00am to 3:00pm Saturday, Pacific Standard Time.

Thank you,

CSR Andy

Notice the hidden lines in there?
when you placed the order for the Walk fit, a trial offer of Joint Support Formula was offered, and your Walk fit and trial offer arrived with a letter advising that unless we received a call to cancel, you would continue getting future orders.
___________________________________________

If you do not call they can steal from you forever! Why do they do this, can't they stay in business any other way? I mean is their products that bad that they must STEAL from people to stay afloat? If that is the case then it is time for them to sink. They declared WAR on my family and they ruined our Thanksgiving gathering and did not even care. I use a Visa Green dot PrePaid Debit card and this is where I had the money for our Thanksgiving products. Needless to say when I checked my account (and i check it every morning) I discovered the theft so I started emailing then had to call. You can see at the beginning the problem I have with one on one contact whether in person or over the phone. I was in the Military and served my country but afterward I worked as a Machinist and during the construction of a steel mesh tool crib a foreman laid a steel bracing bar 8 foot long x about 3/4 inches thick x about 4 inches wide across the top of the cage without fastening it down or telling me it was there. I was on my knees marking and drilling anchor bolt holes when he went away to use the phone.

Most of what I remember from that time period and quite a few years after are what people have told me. I fought for my life (or so I am told) and then in 1983 I had a total psychological collapse and the fight to stay alive began all over again. I still suffer from very serious effects from that accident all because I was not treated by a medical doctor properly (but that is another story.)

2001 brought another set of hurdles when during the 3rd or 4th of what would become 16 heart catheters the doctor doing the procedure managed to nick my sciatic nerve as he was inserting the guide sleeve. I now live in pain 24 hours a day seven days a week without any breaks. No breaks other than my ribs when the spasms have twice twisted me so bad my ribs have broken. (But, as with the Closed Head Injury Accident that is another story.)

What most people take as normal everyday stuff is extremely difficult for me. Thinking is a challenge as is making decisions and choosing which way to go and what to wear or what to say or do next; very normal every day items become major hurdles and even mountains for me.

So when a company like Walkfit who apparently just does not care (at least I have not found anyone yet who does) it is people like me that always get hurt the worst. There is no one to fight for me so I plod along and do what I can just praying I will get the money back which was most literally STOLEN from my account. Contacting Visa Green dot helps sometimes but since they only take letters they were of no help to me in this case and thus my money is stolen like I see quite a few others here at this site and elsewhere around the web/world.

Sorry to be so long here but there is a lot involved in everyone's life; people are like icebergs because what we see is only a very small part of the entirety of their experiences and problems. Thank you for reading this (if you have) and Please if you do business with Walkfit call as soon as your order comes and cancel all future orders unless you actually like that crap. Warn others too so they don't get suckered in by what I have found to be scam and ###. It is sad really, I have found no redeeming features in any of my dealings with Walkfit. I thought I did with the one I talked to but it turns out he either lied or the one who told him to tell me those things lied...

Walkfit Platinum scam

I ordered walkfit insole online after I saw it on TV. I got my order like 3-4 weeks after the ordering. I was charged 29.99 total, which is right. then next month, I saw my credit card is charged again of $44.85. i called walkfit, they say it is the joint formula that came in with the package. so I went back to try the ordering process, and realized that it is true, when you click order, next they will ask you if you want a "free "gift, but be careful, it also says, you will be charged $20/month from now on, and they will continue to send you the joint formula. so I guess I saied yes, that is why I was charged next month. so i ask them to cancel the joint formula for me, and refund me. but they say I have to send my first free joint formula back. the first one is supposed to be free gift, so why should I send it back, although I didn't use it, I don't want to pay the shipping fee. PLUS, I was hang up millions of times during the phone call !

anyway. From now on, if you have to order something from an unknown company, TV commercial, etc, these kind of dubious places, remember, don't take any FREE gift, carefully read all the words, and don't use your major credit card, use one that you can cancel if you got too much problems like the other person did. bottomline, if you don't have to, never order anything from these kind of companies.

but I have to say, I kind of like the walkfit insole, I know lots of people feel uncomfortable, but I like them, this is exactly what I want, and I never found it anywhere else. the Dr.schole gel insole I tried before is a total waste of money compared to this walkfit.

Lol, I saw the commercial for time tonight and in it it shows one person pushing down on another fists trying to prove that without the product you lack balance but you can see the commentator pushing down but slightly pulling towards himself to pull the other off center but when the product is applied they neglect to pull so it looks like they have achieved balance by using the walkfit, I truly appreciate it whe a product so blatantly lies and I know never to trust or purchase that product. Idiots!

Walk fit is a consumer shipping and handling scam along with deceptive practices on add on products and continuing monthly credit card charges. I had to try and resolve problems with a rep in India no no choice of someone in the US. I cancelled my credit card to stop them from charging me any more. I ordered two pair thinking second pair would be a bargain, wrong, additional shipping and handling of around $45 for package the sixe of your hand and maybe 6 ounces. The silicon inserts are a joke. If you can't stop shipping, its auto for months to come on the joint pain supplement.

Watch the TV ad closely and you'll see a "visual deception". It's done when the celebrity host, Stewie, shows people how their balance is increased w/Walk Fit. First, he presses down on the participants hands and they lose balance and almost fall. Next, SUPPOSEDLY does the same thing WITH the orthonic being used by participant. But, the physical demonstration is FIXED. Watch the first demo, w/out walkfit, and Stew pushes down AND pushes away from persons body, toward himself. During the demo With the orthonic, he just pushes down, Not pulling toward himself like in the first demo. It's very apparent while watching, the person being demonstrated on can't see or tell the action. Look closely, you'll see the deception. This SAME balance trick is used with the new, fake, Energy bracelets that claim to improve balance. The person will push down on arms, AND pull slightly forward. Just pushes down when it's done with the bracelet on. It's subtle, but it's there. And it's a lie, deception, etc. Beware and tell others. Thanks

WalkFit insoles are great. I have plantar Facitis, the arch muscle problem that creates heel bone spures and after trying the ones that the podiatrist gave me and another from Heel the Pain, this is the only insole that has even given me any comfort. This is the only product that I use. My current podietrist didn't believe me and yet she gave it a shot and even some of her other patients now use Walkfits.

Yes they do try to then continue to charge you for joint formula and possible other products. I have had similar issues with other produst. That is why when oreded them, I specifically listened for these type of offers and right after I recieved my insoles, I called to cancel anything still active on my account, which included the joint formula and the rubber covers to go over the walkfit. There was never another charge.

Total Scam,
I got my Walkfit insoles about 3 weeks ago and now they are charging me $44.85 for the joint formula.
I called them up and they told me that I said yes in the internet about the formula and that I would have to cancel it and they would not give my money back. They also said you should have already gotten your second shipment and I told them I have not received it. Then they said to wait 5 to 7 buisness days. Well I reported it to my bank and told them that I dispute the charges and they are trying to get the money back. I am also canceling my debit card so they can not charge me anymore. What a big scam/

Walkfit Platinum Terrible experience

I ordered 3 Walkfits in August and my order was missing one set. I have not been able to get the other set and it is now November. I can never talk with the same person twice nor can I get the same service center twice. It is very difficult to understand many or the people at the centers and I am always getting cut off and have to start over again with another call.

My account was charged the full amount for the 3 pairs along with outrageous shipping on all 3 pairs. They do not want to reimburse me for the missing pair and yet they have not sent it either.

They scammed me, too. I returned the entire box of "stuff" for a refund and have not heard back from them one month later. They made an unauthorized charge to my AMEX card the same day that they received my returned package. This is a criminal-acting group of scam artists and I will have to fight them, I suppose. They also charged an outrageous amount for their shipping charges to me (including "processing charges") and I did NOT request express shipping.

I had a similar experience, I ordered just the insoles and did not order anything else. My charge was $ 39.85
When the order came it had some sample bottles in it and I set them aside and do not use the additional lotions.
A month later a package arrives again from Walkfit and I call the company that I did not order any additional products. They told me that there was a letter in my package that explained that if I did not want anymore items I should have called them and cancell the order (that I have never ordered in the first place).
I told them that I did not authorize any charges to my VISA account but now the statement has come in there is a charge for $44.85. I called them and complained. they gave me an authorization number to mail it back (of course at my expense in order for me to have proof that I returned the bottles) and then they will give me a refund of $44.85.
THESE PRACTICES ARE DECEIPTFUL AND ONLY HURT CLIENTS LIKE ME WHO NEVER EVER WILL DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN AND MAKE THIS KNOW SOTHAT OTHERS WILL BE CAREFUL IN DEALING WITH THEM OR NOT.

Walkfit Platinum Inauthorized charge

On 10/06/08, I ordered a pair of Walk Fit via web site with regular shipping. Order confirmation promptly returned on 10/07 that order was quote " received and will be prcessed. Standard time for delivery is 3 to 4 weeks, although most in-stock items will be shippee within the next 7 to 10 business days. Rush orders will arrive within 5 days and that all ordes are shipped via US Postal service." I finally received order on 10/27/08 via USPS but they charged me Rush shipment fee of additional charge of $9.95. This makes shipping charge more costly than the product of which I would never agree to do. I called [protected] to inquire, the person who answered insisted that I requested for rush delivery. I told him that there were no detail provided in order confirmation; and even if I did order rush, the order did not arrive within 5 to 10 business days as confirmed on email. He said normal delivery was 21 days and 15 days for rush delivery. I stated that this was not acceptable and wanted to speak to his manager, he said there's no manager and no one that I could advance this complaint forward. I sent another email to document this complaint on 10/28 and have not heard back. The web site tries to sell you all kinds of product before you complete the transition, so be aware of buying stuff that you dont intend. The order confirmation to me never stated product purchased nor shipping mode which is highly unprofessional. Seems like this is the business practice that this company deploys against customers. This product used to be called Phase 4. Wonder why they changed the name ? Buyers beware !~!

Walkfit Platinum Deceptive order form

when you order from their website their order form has pre-filled out fields for additional product. You have to carefully scroll around and make sure they are all unchecked or you get the product.
They offer no order confirmation before they capture and charge your credit card, so you don't see that you have inadverantly order other stuff - due to their site automatically filling it out "yes".
they will refund the product price, but not S&H, which is about $15/item - a huge rip off for something coming by US postal service.

Walkfit Platinum Overcharged

I received my order, I was charged for rush delivery, which I didn't want. And it took 14 days to get here, some rush delivery. I was charged for the gel insoles, didn't order those. The total was $54.75 for an order I thought would cost $29.90. After being hung up on several times I finally spoke with someone. Even though I was put on hold several times, I made use of my time by writing this, they "said" they would refund the $24.85, we will see. And after all the B.S., they had the nerve to try and pressure, and I mean pressure me to buy anothher pair!

I ordered 1 time on line on Nov, 08 and they have been charging my credit card 2 different times after that without my order.
Called Customer Service and can not understand what I was saying...2nd time called, hung up on me.

They better PAY me back what they charged on my credit card.

Walk Fit must be SCAM operations.

Walkfit Platinum Unauthorized charges

My wife ordered Walkfit and a few days after receiving the shoe inserts, which suck by the way, a bunch of supplements showed up that we did not order and $200.00 of crap on her credit card. We disputed the charges. Today we received a letter from Walkfit complaining they could not charge another $27 to card and if we don't pay they will turn it over to a collection agency. What scammers. I plan to report them the the Georgia and California Attorny General's offices, you should do the same if you deal with these people.

I purchased two pair of Walkfit insoles on their web site. I have a pair which work well and wanted additional pairs. When they arrived, included in the package were gel inserts, which I did not order and which were sent to me on approval. In addition the amounts on the invoice were all wrong. I sent the entire order back to them with instructions to refund my money. I paid $59.53 for the insoles including almost $24 for shipping (more than the ad stated would be the cost). It cost me over $17 to return the order via UPS, but I didn't expect them to pay for return postage.

I received confirmation via UPS that Walkfit received the returns and I call them to find out when I'd see my credit. I was told that it would appear in 7 to 10 days. It did.

The credit I received was about $2.50 less than I should have received, but I decided just to let it be because it would not have been worth the hassle to talk to India to get the right amount.

I read in another review that these insoles are available at Target, something I checked and found to be true. I don't remember having any problems when I ordered my original pair many years ago. I just will never order from them directly again.

It's a shame that they've chosen to sell a product which I found to work via such underhanded and dishonest means.

I ordered the product and was charged extra for S&H (which) I did not request. They took the money directly from my checking account. As a result, a check which I wrote a couple of days later bounced and although the check was honoured, my bank charged $34. When I complained, I was told that they would credit my account $15.00. Once I receive the credit, I will return the item (at my own expense) to get a refund of the item. I will lose money on the S&H because they won't eat that charge. Do not do business with Walkfit.

Walkfit...Crooks...website is misleading...chargeing $30.00 for shipping something so small...customer service is in India very rude people when you call, did not help at all. BBB needs to get involved and stop these crooks from ripping off consumers...true ripoff! Being charged for items you did not order. The worst part is calling a phone number for customer care and getting someone nmaed "peter" in India who reads a script and could care less about your problem...Very rude when I called when I tried to ask question they hung up...bad company...bad service...

Walkfit Platinum insoles

Company charged 19.90 for insoles but took 54.90 from my account. When i went to cancel order 24 hours after order was made they would not let me because i ordered it rushed, and i did not.and they already sent it out. Then they explained why it cost so much was because i ordered gel inserts also, 3 pair, which i did not . Also I asked them not to use my account for any thing else . Then they agreed not to send this joint formula that would have cost me an extra 54.00which was supposed to be a free gift with my purchase of the 19.90 insoles or arch supports . Anyway i said i would be sending back the order of arch supports to receive $ back and they said that i would only get 34.90 back because of the 20.00 delivery (mailing) charges. Ordering from this company is a total scam!

If you're not getting any help or response from these guys, you should post them on this site, this is for anyone who has been screwed, ripped off or felt that they had been done wrong. The name of the site is www.uradeadbeat.com, it gives you a voice to the people who will not listen. Not only does the person who you are complaining about receive an email letting them know that they have been put on the deadbeat list (as long as you provide email address) but, they will also receive a post card (as long as you provide a mailing address) notifying them too.

walkfit is nothing but a scam. I have reported them to the bureau of consumer protection and the better business bureau.
I ordered them on Aug 6, 2008, on Aug 7, 2008 they immediately took the money out of my debit card. I ordered two pair. They were supposed to be $19.95 each plus $9.95 shipping and handling. the amount should have been $59.80. They took $71.75 from my card. Today is Aug. 21, 2008 . I still never received them. Everytime I call, they tell me I should get them the next day USPS service. I get someone who does not speak fluant english or they hang up on me...I called today and they gave me a tracking # which of couse is not valid.
These people should be put out of business. They are taking advantage of people by getting their credit cards and debiting them the way they want.
I had surgery on my foot on June 6, 2008 and I thought these would help the pain I am in.
What else, if any, can I do to get my money refunded?
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Thank you,

I should also tell you that the vitamin supplements were not something we ordered, but an automatic enrollment in their program. We never asked to be or consented to be in this program, but they said that it was our fault for not calling to decline the notification in a letter we never received. Cancel your card and re-issue. I have a confirmation number that this would be taken care of from their customer service department and then the next day they debited my account another $45. Card has since been cancelled.

Please contact your bank or credit card company immediately. The original charge is just the tip of the iceburg. They automatically begin to debit your card $13 and $45 monthly for vitamin supplements (which also never arrive). Please contact the USPS Fraud Investigation Unit ASAP. The more complaints they get the faster they can shut this company down. Our bank was on the lookout after the first unauthorized charge, blocked the second and then they ran it again under a different name (WF Joint Support vs. Walkfit).

Walkfit Platinum paid for 2 pairs and received only 1.

Back in June 24, 2008 I ordered 2 pairs of walkfit inserts. I received only 1. I called Customer Service, and to my surprised everytime I mentioned I wanted a credit they would hangup! After several times of calling I got to speak to someone. I was promised a form for me to fill out, -for requesting credit or the 2nd pair. This was to be sent by fax. I waited and waited, checked the fax machine to make sure it was working... and nothing. I called back, got more hangups. I sent emails. Finally I got someone on the phone. This time they said the form would be mailed. After a couple of wks of waiting for this form, still nothing! I called back and now they said it would take 8 to 10 weeks for the form to be mailed out! Unbelievable. The time has past, and now its Sept. and nothing. In the meantime, when the purchase was done they didn't waste anytime taking my money. I really recommend people not to deal with them, they are running a scam. Its not about the money anymore, I am mad and just feel taken advantage of.

Walkfit Platinum Service not good

I placed an order with this company...Walk Fit America. I ordered 2 pr. of orthotics. They "promptly" debited my bank account for over $59. The product was not as expected and I returned it within 2 weeks...I am still waiting on a refund. They keep telling me I will receive it within 3-3 business days each time I call. And the worst part is that you cannot understand a word! The customer service reps speak very broken English. I asked to talk to a manager and was told that I could not. Not exactly good customer service.

I received my order and when I looked at the order form, I was outraged that such a small package cost me $54.65 S&H + I rushed the order for another $9.95. I ordered the product online after seeing the show and When you order online they do not give you a breakdown of cost or an order no./confirmation that you ordered the product. I understood by the commercial that I was getting the extra soles for FREE but instead I was charged $14.95 ea. set. I also found out that they charge you shipping and handling on each pair of soles...I bought 3 prs so if you divide that into $54.65, I paid $14.95 per pair for S&H. I order online all the time and never get charged this much for even large, heavy items. Being in advertising and marketing I stated to them this was very bad business and during these times they need to come up with better ways to ship. My customer service guy also had broken english and I even stated to him I don't know where he was located overseas or state side that he needed to tell his boss that the website, TV commercial and their order form needs to be clear to the customer what they are getting and what they are paying for it. They told me they would credit my account $28.00 for the extra shipping cost and that pairs of the soles in the future would not be charged with a shipping charge since I would be a repeat customer. My card was charged this weekend for 2 bottles of Joint Support since I signed up for that and I told them I did not want it. He stated to me when it came in to not accept the delivery and they would refund my money. I usually check out the internet for complaints but did not this time. I wish I would have. I was so angry that I left everything boxed and have not tried the soles. Hope this helps someone in the future.

Walkfit Platinum Fraud / Scam Artists

I ordered the insoles advertised on television using my Visa check card. The original amount was deducted from my bank account on 3/11/2008 ($30.90, including shipping and handling). I received the package shortly thereafter via the USPS and was not overly impresses but satisfied with the product. On 4/10/2008 a charge against my bank account by Walkfit in the amount of $13.90 was posted. I contacted the company who indicated that this was an "additional shipping charge" which was not explained at the time of purchase, nor authorized. They indicated that they would credit the amount back to my account immediately. The following morning, I discovered that rather than crediting my bank account, they had withdrawn an additional $44.85. My immediate call to the company resulted in my being informed that they had enrolled me in a vitamin program and that was the charge for the upcoming shipment of the "joint support formula". I explained that I had never ordered or authorized any such purchase and they explained that I did not have to authorize it because they had included paperwork with my insoles that stated that I was in the program and it was my responsibility to decline. The package for the insoles contained no paperwork, not even a packing slip. They promised to cancel my involuntary subscription and not attempt to re-execute the charge (Walkfit Confirmation # 5932069). They failed to live up to their word and the next day another charge was pending. Although my bank managed to block the transaction from Walkfit on 2 occasions, they managed to slip through under a different name of WF Joint Support and debited the account. I have since cancelled the bank card. To date, I never received any further package from the company. Please check the Better Business Bureau, as of today there were 660 complaints, not inclusive of mine. On their website they indicate that there is a "free sample" of this joint formula to be shipped with each order, no mention of any subscription.
If you have had the same experience, I ask that you contact the United States Postal Investigator and also submit a fraud complaint for investigation. For everyone of us that catches the scam, there are probably 10 others who don't.

FOLLOW UP: After complaining to the BBB, I was contacted via email by a person named Mary. The only information given was that of an email address (marya@sylmark.com). She gave me yet another explanation for the additional charges and promised that the full amount would be credited back to my account by the end of business. That was four days ago and still nothing from the company. My bank has since ruled the charges fraudulent. As an interesting note, I requested that Mary provide me with a mailing address and phone / extension and although she replied to my email, she never gave either. I was further advised by my bank, that although I had closed the card associated with this mess, they could still charge against my account by "forcing" the transaction, then a new dispute process would have to begin all over. Upper management was able to disassociate the card from the account altogether as of yesterday so that even if they force a charge, it will have no account affiliation. I am continuing to pursue USPS mail fraud charges against this company, and encourage others to do the same.

I have had the same experience of being billed by WF Joint support for $44.85 on top of the cost for insoles. I received a package of supplements I didn't order and sent it back unopened, "return to sender". I called their customer service at [protected] and cancelled all future shipments. I was told they didn't know if they got the package back because customer service was in a different building than shipping. I was told to wait for the refund because I didn't have a tracking number. Apparently I will be waiting a long time and will have to close my credit card because of these turds!

I was trying to order a simple pair of inserts, thought it would be worth a try at 20 bucks. I couldn’t even understand everything they where trying to sale me. There was an add on for some free pills, I had to say no to two times, then some special offer, and then more still- I had to keep hitting no buttons and was getting worried I might miss something. I opened another session and did a little research and found so many complaints about Walk Fits practices I discontinued my order prior to completing it. And just to be sure they understood I wanted my order cancelled I wrote the customer service contact twice within 10 minutes stating clearly I did not want to place any order with them. This all took place on Sunday afternoon and on Monday I received an email telling me it’s too late to cancel. I called the company and was hung up on twice, and the next service rep started yelling at me telling me the order couldn’t be cancelled. I asked for a manager and of course he was in a meeting for the next hour. The reps name was “Angel” what kind of Angel I am not sure? She told me my order had been shipped already had gave me a fake tracking number. I checked with the postal service and nothing like this number has ever been issued! All I have to say is BUYER BEWARE! I do a fair amount of internet shopping and I have never experienced anything like this!

I received my inserts and they seem to work as well as the $300.00 ones prescribed by my podiatrist. I also received the joint formula pills that I had no intention of taking, I just wanted the inserts. Then, last week, I was billed 44.85 for my second shipment of pills that I've not even received yet. Imagine my shock. I called. The scam artist advised that in my initial shipment was a paper stating I was enrolled in their joint formula program and to cancel, I must call. I checked my paperwork. Sure enough, there it was, but like the millions of you who arent going to take their stupid pills, you didnt read that part. So she tells me to "return to sender" the pills and they will refund my money. That was Thursday. Today is Monday, and I've still not received the shipment that I've already been billed for. I do plan to return them by certified mail. Their shipping cost they wont refund me and the certified mail amount I will spend is less than the 44.85 they charged me, so I will be at a loss of 10.00. If they dont refund me, its nothing more than theft. I thought about this over the weekend and after reading your stories, I decided to cancel my credit card and my company graciously did so and will be sending me another one with a new number and have assured me that this company cannot charge to it unless I give them my new number, which of course, I would never do.

I have had the same experience. Today I wrote to the Attorney General and Consumer Affairs in California. This is ridiculous. I also had my debit card changed so it cannot be used. Please be sure you to contact your bank and have your debit or credit card number changed, because these people are criminals. I really think there should be a class action suit against these people.

Walk Fit is completely fraud. They started charging my credit card and sent more "vitamins" that I never ordered even after I had specifically called and told them to not send me stuff. I sent the items back via certified mail and they claimed that they didn't receive it although I had the confirmation of the date and exact time that they signed for the returned items. It took me months to get them to credit back to my credit card and I had to fight more to get them to refund the cost which it took for me to send the products back. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General and they claimed that they "took the courtesy to credit my account although they never received the products back" and they also claimed that I agreed to the additional products at the time of ordering, which was also another lie because I would've never agreed to that.

I encourage everyone who has issuses with this company to keep fighting and report them to both the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General in the state that you reside.

I ORDERED ON MARCH 22, 2009 THEY HAVE TOOK THE MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT THEY TELL ME EVERYTIME I CALL THAT I WILL RECEIVE IT IN A WEEK. I EVEN PAYED FOR THE 3-5 DAY RUSH. THEY SAY THAT THEY CAN'T CREDIT THAT TIL I RECEIVE MY ORDER THEN I CAN CALL BACK FOR THE CREDIT. IT IS NOW JULY 8, 2009 AND STILL NO INSOLES AN MONEY IS BEING TAKIN OUT. MY ACCOUNT IS CONSTANTLY OVER DRAWN FROM THEM AN MY BIGGEST MISTAKE WAS I GAVE THEM MY CHECKING # INSTEAD OF A CARD. NOW UNTIL I GET MY ACCOUNT CORRECTED AN STABLED I CAN NOT CLOSE IT NOR OPEN A NEW ONE AND THIS IS AFFECTING MY CREDIT BAD.
