Purity Products Fraud

HELP ! Im in the Uk and ordered myfreegreentea and power colon cleanse - as trials paying only the P&P. I notified them within the time scale as per the terms and conditions and told them to cancel any future orders. Ive received no further pills but so far they have taken £100 every two weeks from my credit card. My credit card company have told me they cant stop the payments going out - EVER ! even if I cancel my card! Something to do with it being a subscription and they cant cancel that. Ive explained I have documentary proof of my cancellations - now approx 40 emails to the company - Ive had to instruct solicitors here in the UK but I have to see a specialist this week for an idea how to take this further. At this rate if I cant stop it I will end up bankrupt and lose my house - I havent stopped crying ! Can anyone suggest anything !? I just dont know how this kind of thing can be allowed in todays day and age. I have completely complied with the terms and conditions but this company goes under several names in several countries.

I have experienced the same thing and am based in the UK. I used my debit card and my bank HSBC recommended that I cancel the card as it had been "compromised". Whether any further money will be taken is unknown as the last amount went out on the 7th July. Like you I compiled with their t&c's but it hasn't made the slightest bit of difference. I understand your frustrations and I am sure your Credit Card must be able to so something, if all else fails can you not just report your card as lost? Then it would be canceled and all numbers that you originally registered would not be valid. I wish you all the very best

Purity Products Preach of Terms & Conditions

I live in Dubai and few weeks ago I've placed an order for both Green Tea Purity and Colon Cleanse elite products. As per their terms and conditions, you should receive the product and try it within 15 days free trail (that was not true, after 14 days they billed my credit card the product full amount 80 $ each) and in case you don't want to receive any further products, you should return the empty container so they would not bill your credit crard in the future.

Well, I received the products after 24 days of placing the order, and even though I wrote to them 100 times explaining that they should not bill my credit card until I recieve the products and try it first, they went ahead and billed my credit card anyway again 80 $ Each.

Not only that, but they shipped the products via the worst and cheapest mail service, despite the fact that I paid 30 $ shipping fee for each product. It took me long time to get to the mail office and the containers was in a very bad shape (squeezed).

This is a scam, I had to block my credit card and replace it immediatly. These companies do not have any ethical responsibility.

No one learn for free, my advice is to stay away from these online scams ! It did cost me a lot to know that.

Seems like they specialize in scamming! I had a similar experience. Not only do they keep sending the product and billing each time, the products do absolutely nothing. I have made numerous phone calls to their "customer service", have been promised that I will receive a refund and an address to send the products back, sent numerous emails and all to no avail. Why are they not shut down?

I wish I reviewed this site before placing an order for both Colon Cleanse and Green T. I have exactly the same experiences of this company and I am at a loss as to what to do. I supposedly registered for their "Free Trail" only to find out that £70 had been taken from account a day after receiving the Colon Cleanse followed a few days later by the same amount for the Green T - despite that fact that the Green T has never been received. I have exchanged numerous emails to the company with NO joy and today, when checking my account noted that more money had been taken. I have spoken to my bank, which is based in the UK, and they have lodged a dispute and cancelled my debit card as it’s the only way to stop any further transactions.

Surely this company cannot be allowed to get away with such unprofessional practice & surely we as consumers have to have our customer rights listened to and acted upon. I have tried to call the company with no joy. So any suggestions on how I could contract them would be gratefully received.

Purity Products MY FREE GREEN TEA (NOT)

I agree with a previous lady who picked up on this scam. I ordered my FREE sample and it arrived along with the 'COLON CLEANSE ELITE' that was handily advertised on their website and read that I just had to pay shipping & handling fees, fair enough. 14 days later which by the way was only 2 days after I had actually received these pills I was charged 2 amounts of $79.95. When I tried to find contact details other than the 'contact us'link there was no information available. When I tried to reply to an email that told me my bank account had been charged with the above amounts the email came back by postmaster as 'doesnt exist' how very convenient.
My family are extremely angry with me for being so stupid as it obvious that this is a scam especially as my husband now been olut of work for 11 weeks and with mortgage, loans and utility bills going unpaid or being returned I have wasted over £100 that could have put food on our table. Does anybody else know or have a contact for this company?

They are using over 10 different company names. All the E-mails they send are prewriten and sent to everyone. Their current scam is using the name Green Tea Purity but it is all the same people. If you look at all the E-mail addresses they are all G-mail accounts. Report them to G-mail as being used for scaming. Report them to IC3.gov this is the FBI internet crimes web site. Report them to the web sites that carry their adds. This is the only way to stop them.

Purity Products SCAMMED

I had similar problem to those already posted. Unfortunately I had ordered the two 'free' trials for Green Tea Purity and Power Colon Cleanse. Did not realise these pills were to be sent back within 14 days, however, as they were sent from China it was past the 14 day deadline before I actually received it, although I have only received ONE 'free' sample of the Power Colon Cleanse and none of the Green Tea. However I have been billed £50.04 TWICE from the Green Tea company and the same from Power Colon Cleanse and have received no more items. Tried sorting it out with bank but I have to send every bit of correspondence to them to try and sort out and they will have to get the 'companies' to prove that I knew I was setting up a subscription. It's a nightmare, cus Im already £150+ out of pocket for nothing! I have rang the Customer Support number where the girl (obviously a call centre) told me it was definitely now cancelled, however she could not tell me why I was billed twice for items not received, or indeed what the return address would be if I DID receive any items and needed to return them! I feel so stupid as what was supposed to be a free trial has cost a packet! I have cancelled my credit card this morning but was told by my Card Services that they cannot guarantee that they will not get money from the new card as they do not know what way the thing was set up in the first place. My bank are trying to resolve this matter for me, but im not hopeful to get a refund!

Let me know if anyone has had a positive outcome following one of these scams!

Thanks

S

I canceled my membership and the company still took $90 out of my account on Oct. 29, 2008 and sent their product. When I called to complain 2 days later they gave me a 7-10 business days time frame after I gave them the tracking number from the post office that I had sent the product back. I called again early Dec. 2008 and was told it would be credited on 12/19/08, that they were having computer problems. I called again on 12/29/08 and was told it would be credited in 4-5 business days because they had a high volume of requests for credit. I got the street address today and I am going to write a letter but I think I have been scammed!

I got scammed as well. I cancelled my credit card and have filed forms with my bank. The return address that the power colon cleanse was sent from is:

Choi Factory
N0. 26 De Heng Road
Chaozhou Guangdong China

I am going to check with the post office tomorrow to see if there is anything they can do or any advise they can give me.

Just like the last post I too ordered the 'free trial' of both the gree tea & colon cleanse pills only to find myself in the same situation. I have just been charged a 2nd time for both products which I also have not received. I have just cancelled my subscription on line, but after reading the last post I am now very concerned that this will not be done and further amounts will be taken. I have been scammed for just over £220 so far and have also been told by my bank that I have to take this up with the company, if not successfull then I can write to my bank to see what they can do. Does anyone know how to find out if legal action can be taken agains these companies?

Purity Products scammers who steal your money

Never order the free trial. these two businesses are sister companies and they are total scammers. they send the "free trial" so late and don't answer emails telling them you don't want their stupid product on purpose so they get to charge you the full amount. i'm still trying to get money back from them. absolute thieves.

I wish i read your comment first, I had the same trouble with these company's. I ordered the Power Colon Cleanser "FREE TRIAL" what a load of crap. I cancelled it well within the trial period but they still charged me. I asked them to cancel all other subscriptions they sent back confirmation emails telling me that everything was cancelled. The following month they charged me again, but they didnt send out anything. I sent more emails and made more phone calls, they said they would refund all the money but they still havn't.
So im in the same boat, dont know what to do!

Purity Products Big money making scam

I ordered green tea on line then got a funny feeling that they may charge my card(as I work for a bank I see this all the time) so I decided to cancel the card to prevent them taking any further money. I received the free trial on th 15th day (so much for a free trail) however I had called them and left several messages to cancel and followed this up by emailing them twice within the 14 days(via my hotmail so then you have proof). If you contact them via their homepage you have nothing to fall bk on. Then I began to receive emails from 4 different people to advise my card was declined. I just spend the past 2 weeks emailing them advising they were informed that I requested them to cancel the order and return the items. Just got an email with a returns address asking me to send bk to china! and they offered me the green tea for $39.95. Scam scam scam! Beware, I was lucky but v easy to get caught with these companies. I started cambridge diet instead and going to stick to that as its going great, wouldn't even trust taking the tablets now.

People who are ordering this Green Tea Purity are getting my contact details included in their delivery. It would appear that people them think I am an 'agent' for this company. I do not and have never had any association with this company neither have I ever ordered from them. I have contacted trading standards.

hi there, i am writing to complain about a free trial offer i ordered online, this was supposed to be a free no risk offer where you only paid for the postage and handling, they would send the product to you and if you were not happy you could cancel, send the product back to them and any further credit card deductions and shipments with this company would be finished. I have tried on numerous occasions to contact these people to cancel, only to to have no response at all and making myself sick thinking how much money they are going to scam out of me. I have tried contacting them through email, which will not send, and through the contact us link on there web site. Can you please help me, don't know what to do.
I have contacted my bank, but they will not cancel or change my credit card at this point, instead I have to write them a letter and explain what has happened, with any contact I have made with this company to cancel

They are the same company. i now wish i had checked for scams first, i feel so cross with myself, im constantly e-mailing them asking for a refund but no joy yet, i havent recieved the actual product either! fingers cross for all of us who fell for it.

I sent off for the months free trial for Green Tea Purity only paying $5.95 for postage as requested. At no time did I receive an email saying that I was to return any unused tablets to the company after 15 days. They now say they are charging to my card the sum of $79.95 as I did not respond to them or send back the tablets. This in sterling is $49.95 for a months supply of tablets which is supposed to be a FREE TRIAL.

Not only do this company take money without authoristion, they continue to remove funds under a different company name each month, the amount appears to increase also. It is a complete scam. I have contacted my credit card company and it is in the hands of their disputes and fraud team however as yet I have had no response. The company will not acknowledge cancellation, I have sent numerous e mais and tried telephoning. AVOID THIS COMPANY!
My credit company also inform me that should I even cancel my credit card (which I have requested) that this green tea company can still remove funds and that I will be liable to pay! I cannot believe that I have been conned in such a way and that no one appears to be able to do anything.

I signed up to green tea purity and colon cleanser which was ment to be a free trial i did not read the t&c so was not aware it would be impossible to cancell my order. dispite repeated emails and having the company even say "yes we will cancel your subscription now "they are still sending the product( which is left at the post office as i am not signing for it) and still charging my bank account- I now have the bank investigating the company.

Having read how wonderful this product was from several website together with Colon Cleanse I gave card details to pay for postage for "FREE" trial offer. After waiting over 2 weeks the Colon Cleanse arrived and I received an email to tell me they were taking $79.95 from my card for the goods. As I had not returned them they regarded this as my acceptance of their terms. In fact they took the money before I had received the goods. Another week went by and I received the Green Tea Purity in a badly damaged envelope which had to be repacked by our Royal Mail with the contents smashed.
I have emailed several times back to the sender of the notification that they were charging my credit card and I have never received a reply. There is nothing on the documents with the packages as it is all in Chinese to say who I can contact.
I have now taken this up with my credit card company who are going to look into this scam

i purchased the green tea purity trial and then recieved an e-mail saying i had to pay seventy nine dollars, i tried to get them to e-mail me the adress to return the product to no avail . they have took unauthorised payments from my account which also left me overdrawn in my account, so heavy bank charges also incured and im left £200.00 out of pocket. is there anything that can be done about this company.

I ordered this item on June 23, 2017, along with Power colon cleanse. The ad said to pay only the shipping which was $5.95 per item. After a 14 day trial if you did not cancel you would be charged $79.95 for the Green Tea and $79.95 for the Power colon cleanse, and you could cancel at anytime.

On July 1st I recevied the Green Tea sample and a bottle of 30 pills. Again according to their web site I had 14 days to cancel and 30 days to return the item for a refund. On July 6 I received a bottle containing 30 Colon cleanse capsules, but not the free sample I was promised.

I checked my bank and was shocked to find out I was charged $79.95 and $79.95 on July 6th for these products.

I called the company and after waiting over 30 minuted was told my membership was cancelled and I would receive an e-mail in 24-48 hours on how and where to return to package.

By Thursday I called again and was told "the email was sent check your spam mail." I have called several more times and on Friday July 10 was offered a $40.00 refund for each product. Still no email.

In the meantime I have filed a form with my credit card company( and cancelled the card) and they are looking in to this.

After reading several complaints on-line I do feel this is a scam and don't I am keeping my fingers crossed that some how this issue will be resolved.

Val, Could you please could you post the address they gave you themselves to return the goods as I'm having trouble finding it. I need proof of return of goods for my credit card company to refund the money taken. I have 2 different names and a few half bits of different addresses, mostly written in chinese. They've had me for 4 months worth on an old card I no longer use. My credit card company alone say they have hundreds of people going through this with the same company, so imagine how many other companies are having to deal with them too - WORLD WIDE SCAM!

Purity Products Unauthorized use of my Creditcard

sign up for free trial online, called in and canceled...said no additional charges would hit my account...a month later $74.95 was charged to my account. Called company refused to refund money. I complained about the bottle being received with absolutely no information of future monthly charges to my account, said that they would stop future monthly charges...This is a scam in hopes that most people will not catch it in time and that they will probably being able to collect $74.95 atleast twice before knowing it. They also told me that it was a 12 day trial and that I was supposed to call in 12 days...actually know in 12 days and feel the product working. What company says you're start feeling miracles in 12 days. far fetched.

I made the mistake of responding to their TV ad. They sent me not only the intro bottle but another whole auto order ($119). That make me mad and I called and cancelled my membership, sent products back at my expense in the first week of November. Well, last week I noticed a charge in my checking account for the amount above and I emailed them. Their customer service was not good. Last night I received their auto shippment order via UPS for $119. Needless to say I was hot!
I called them and they told me that I would have to send the order back as "Unauthorized Package" and then they would credit my checking account which would take 7/10 days! So they get to use my money for 3/4 weeks! The person (Nancy) I talked to last night said she had just cancelled my account!#$$ They used my card without my authorization and I have to go through the trouble of finding an USP now.
By the way, there was no apology from this company.

Purity Products - Illegal use of credit card

Purity Products Illegally used my credit card to mail me a "free" product. They $4.95 shipping was charged to my card. I have never contacted this company and they had never contacted me. This is outright stealing! It would be interesting to know if all the people ripped off have some common denominator, such as a purchase from the same business or the same...

Purity Products Money Taken without authorization

We ordered green tea purity & expected to pay only $5.95. Our credit card was then charged with $79.95 without authorisation ! When we checked the terms & conditions it states that the product should be returned after 14 days should you not want it. Interestingly, the terms & conditions state $5.95 in numbers & then state seventy nine ninety five in letters, so if you scan read it looking for no.'s it is'nt immediately seen. Wot a con. They also took the money after only 4 or 5 days us having the product in our possession. We have now emailed them asking for a full refund & for information to return the product.
Based on the above comments, i'm not sure if we will receive a response.

Emails come from IRON MAN, so be careful...

HI BACK IN JUNE 2009 I WENT ONLINE AND PLACED AN ORDER FOR A FREE TRIAL - GREEN TEA PRUITY, I CANCELLED THIS SUBSCRIPTION PRIOR TO THE 14 DAY CUT-OFF TIME, A FEW DAYS LATER I WANT TO CHECK ON-LINE WITH MY BANK AND FOUND THE THIS GREEN TEA PRUITY COMPANY HAD TAKEN £102.58 STERLING FROM MY ACCOUNT FOR JUST 100 TABLETS, I CONTACTED THIS COMPANY VIA EMAIL AND WAS TOLD TO SEND THESE TABLETS BACK (VIA CHINA) AND I WOULD RECEIVE A REFUND FOR THE AMOUNT TAKEN MINUS 20% RE-STOCKAGE, I INFORMED THEM THAT THEY COULD NOT TAKE MONEY FROM THE REFUND AS I CONTACTED THEM PRIOR TO THESE TABLETS BEING SENT TO ME.

I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THE VERY NEXT DAY (VIA REPLY EMAIL) THAT THIS COMPANY WAS INFORMING ME THAT WITHIN 6/8 DAYS THEY WOULD BE TAKING ANOTHER AMOUNT FOR THE SECOND SUBSCRIPTION. THE SECOND AMOUNT TAKEN WITH WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE FIRST AND THIS TIME THEY TOOK £116.40 FOR 100 TABLETS - I MUST ADMIT THAT I DID RECEIVE £48 STERLING IN REFUND FOR THE FIRST AMOUNT, WHICH I THOUGHT WAS A CHEEK.

I HAVE EMAILED THIS COMPANY DAILY, I WAS INFORMED ON OCTOBER 2ND BY MARK SUTHERLAND THE A SHOULD RECEIVE A REFUND WITHIN 6/8 WORKING DAYS, YEAH AS YOU GUEST IT IM STILL WAITING, I HAVE ASKED DAILY FOR DETAILS OF WHAT THEY INTEND TO SEND ME AND WHEN I SHOULD EXPECT REFUND - SO MY ADVICE DONT GO FOR ANY FREEBIES ON- LINE

I too have been burned by this crowd... didn't read the fine print, got charged $79.95 so then decided the only way to stop it was to cancel my credit card... contacted them and explained I was away whilst the free trial ended and they said I could return the product to them and then get my refund - however if you do this, you have to pay for registered post as they need proof of it being sent! You end up paying through the nose for this ###... its quite ridiculous, anyway I am perservering with emails 7 months after the event in the hope of getting at least something back... Also, their return email addresses keep changing so you will have to go back to the original website to send them anything by email.
THIS IS A HUGE SCAM... BEWARE... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

These people are day light thieves & to be honest if i have my way i will terminate each one of them. The content of the capsule is filled with God knows what. They took £49.90 from my account after agreeing to try it for £3.95. There is no other way of contacting them other than email so i didn't even bother sending them an email because obviously i wasn't going to get my money back. I will definetely track them down & get my money back. So Green Tea Purity or whatever you call yourself if you are reading this watch out. Anyone who is taking green tea purity, power colon, stopppppppp taking it with immediate effect because whats in that capsule isn't what they say it is.

If you look at all the E-mail addresses they are all G-mail accounts. Report them to G-mail as being used for scaming. Report them to IC3.gov this is the FBI internet crimes web site. Report them to the web sites that carry their adds. This is the only way to stop them.

I have also been caught out with this scam. I ordered the product but by the end of my 15 day 'trial' I had still not recieved the product. I sent email after email asking to cancel then eventuall got a standard email response saying I was not allowed to cancel until I recieved the product by which time they would charge me. I have since sent numerous emails of complaint and they have said I can keep the product for £39.00. I have had money taken out of my account even though I have cancelle. I have now cancelled my card and my bank are looking into it. I did read the terms and conditions and feel I have upheld my side of them. I am just gutted I did not discover this page before!

Purity Products Deceitful Business Practices

Purity needs to be held accountable for its seedy and cruel business practices .The internet just keep piling up complaints on Purity. As a near Customer victim of the Company. I did a little research in the Company after I fell victim to a radio advertisement on free products and a shipping cost only. After submitting my credit card number I started having second thoughts on my actions. But I waited for the product to arrive, but not before calling the Company several times to report that I did not receive the product in the time as said.I then called again to cancel all future unauthorized charges on my credit card, a major complaint from most of thier customers reporting on the internet. Be foreworned doing business with this company when it offers free products and shipping cost only. Unauthorized charges to your account will occur 99.9% of the time.

Purity Products Fraudulant Charges on my Card

I order Evoxin from a radio ad. WWMD also stated, that I would be refunded for shipping cost. I sent the rebate on 10 Feb and they received it on 15 Feb. I noticed that I was being charged $29.95 for February...I called and cancelled, the young lady said that she would fix that in their system...THEN I was charged again in March...and they TRIED to charge my card again in April. I called and spoke with Sicilia and she claims that I never called and cancelled and that she could not refund the previous charges. You can imagine how suprised I was to file a complaint and SEE ALL the numerous complaints from this very same company, with almost the same fraudulant activities. Please email me: [protected]@hotmail.com and tell me what will or can be done to bring this company down and stop their illegal practice.

Thank you,
Daniel Spencer

Purity Products - Robbed

I wrote a complaint a while back on this company, it's far worse than stated. Best advice, close your account via what ever you used. This company will just keep charging you, and doesn't seen to offer any contact phone number. I am closing my checking account because of this, and they do mention company hidden in the agreement that you are charged about...

Purity Products - Unauthorized Debiting of account

This company will not acknowledge the fact that I have cancelled my membership with them. They have debited my account $80.75 when I have already cancelled with them. They are saying I need a RMA# to ship product back to warehouse or it will be refused. I have tried calling 2 different #'s & they will not return my call so that I can obtain that # & ship my...

Purity Products Free Trial not so Free

Purity Products advertised a Free Trial of one of their products for joint pain on my local radio station - all you pay is shipping. I called to order it and specifically asked what the total amount my credit card would be charged was - 9.95 - I asked this a couple of times. When the product came there were 5 tubes in the box not just the free trial. The bill was for 9.95 plus a rush shipping charge I did not ask for so the total was 14.95. Then I find that the they have set me up on an auto ship for these things and they are something like 50 dollars each. Mind you they have already sent several extra in this first box with the free trial. When I finally track down someone to speak with I am told that they do not offer free trials only risk free trials and I am mistaken - that I must have asked for the rush shipping or they would not have sent it that way and that I need to send the product back with some convoluted but very specific shipping requirments in orded to not be charged the $150.00 and to end the auto shipping of more product. I am out 14.95 plus the money to send it all back and it is my fault not theirs - right.

I have heard the commercial several times since and it does, in fact, say Free Trail and not Risk Free Trial as the company rep claimed. Either way this company is not on the level and should be hit with some sort of fines for flase advertising.

You need to read the fine print for such trials.Did you call to cancel before the "trial" was over? I'm guessing no, because you were charged.

I've not ordered from Purity, but a quick check of their website yields the following information:

$4.95 shipping applies. By accepting the free bottle offer you will be enrolled in our Super Saver program, locking in the low Super Saver price of just $33.33 per bottle. As a Super Saver you will receive three bottles every 90 days at a savings of over $35 on every shipment. Your first delivery of 3 bottles will arrive 19 days after you you receive your FREE bottle, so you don't have to worry about missing a day. Purity will charge the credit card used today for your 3 bottle shipments. Of course, you can cancel at anytime. Cancel within the first 19 days and you will never be billed.

Purity Products Unauthorized billing

I would like to know how Purity Products got my name, address and credit card number without my knowledge. They mailed vitamins to me for "Free" (1 Pkg. Ultra-Pure Omega 3) that I did not order and now they want me to pay shipping fees. That is how they make their illegal money. Not by selling the product but by collecting outlandish shipping fees.

I am sending the vitamins back unopened and I will pay the return shipping gladly to the US Post Office but I will not pay Purity for shipping a product I did not order or want. I am going to file a formal LEGAL complaint to the authorities. They are stealing credit card numbers and addresses from unsuspecting internet users.

Everyone should file complaints with the police, when they are scammed.

Purity products sent me a bill for $179 for products I didn't order. They deducted the money from my bank account without my authorization. They gave me a cancellation number, let's see if they give my money back. I'm going to the bank soon to stop any more debiting from my account to Purity Products. I recommend that everyone else who's had this problem do the same, and I would not recommend that anybody buy from Purity Products, or take any so called "free offers". A simple trip to GNC or Walmart is much, much better.

On February 16th I placed a trial order for Purity Product with the 3 weeks to cancel. Before three weeks were up I received another package for 128 dollars that not only included the original product but additional products that were not ordered for additional costs. No they are denying their unfair business practice.
