Texas Roadhouse employment

My daughters Kayli and Keanna work at the Riverpoint location worked Friday December 2nd. They called Saturday the 3rd to let a manager know that they were going to pick up another employees shifts and were told that they could not return to work until they spoke with Andy McGee. He just so happened to be out of town. I called to find out why and I was told there had been a harassment allegation on both of them. So they couldn't work there scheduled shift on Sunday the 4th and were already taken off of the schedule that came out on the 1st and was for the week of the 5th-11th. Andy was not available to talk with the girls and I went due to the severity of the situation until 4:30 on December 5th. Kayli and keanna also filed a harassment against the accuser due to being threatened that she will make their work life hell, being rude and bossy. This said girl has been allowed to work eventhough there are 2 harrassment claims. I asked Andy why she had been allowed to work when he hadn't even talked with my daughters yet and his response was I was out of town. I said that is weird because you were out of town when my daughters were told they couldnt return to work and you also approved a schedule without them on it. Said girl had shifts. Part of my daughters harrassment claim was that this girl had said she wishes they were dead and they will be sorry for not being her friend. I am shocked that a person is allowed to work at texas roadhouse having said these things. Her claim against my daughters was that they were being rude and their body language seemed that they didnt like her. I told Andy why my daughters are being punished with not being able to work on Sunday and then to be taken off an entire week of schedules and he said he made the decision based on the information he had at the time because he talked to said girl and 3 witnesses on Friday the 2nd. I said if you can talk to said girl and witnesses while you were out of town why couldnt you have talked to my daughters? He said he didnt think it was something he needed to deal with immediately. I said What, are you kidding me. You didnt take my daughters claim serious? He didnt say anything. He punished my daughters for half of the story and the other person had no repercussions. This is absolutely not right. I made my daughters quit right there and then due to hostile work environment and for their safety. I am absolutely certain that my daughters were targeted and harrassed not only by this girl by but also management. We w I'll lloyd be filing a harrassment claim with the labor board.

You need to stop sending me private messages about how your father raped you. I am just stating the truth. You need to get a job so you do not need to beg for free food. I see you everywhere on Texas Roadhouse complaints.

When your daughter is not strong enough to fight her own battles you have no right calling grown women girls. When your grammar is no better than a child's you have no right calling grown women girls. Your daughters if they are old enough to work they should be old enough to defend themselves and fight their own battles instead of coming home crying to you. I know that you think your precious brats are perfect angels and model employees but they are not the angels that you think them to be.

Your daughters are better off not working at Texas Roadhouse. It seems they only want people who don't know what they are doing and managers who don't give a damn about their customers or employees. Why wasn't there someone else who is in charge when the manager isn't there? I think the managers at these restaurants are "USELESS". I would file a harassment suit against the manager, the girl and corporate! Good luck!

This comment you are reading coming from Ann_Marie is coming from a little girl that cannot afford to eat at Texas Roadhouse so she has to beg for a refund on food she had no issue eating. Also Ann_Marie. I suggest that you grow up and get a job so you do not need to beg restaurants for refunds before calling a grown woman a girl.

Texas Roadhouse poor service

My family dined at the Asheville, NC Texas Roadhouse today 11/25/18 to celebrate my birthday. My kids refer to it as the "Roll House" since that is why we keep going back. Our "server" was Rebecka. The food was great but the service was so bad we all left furious! We had already completed our appetizers and were almost finished with our meals before we were ever brought any rolls, after having requested them thrice. (All other servers seemed to have no trouble supplying rolls to their tables.) Despite several requests for a refill, I sat with a dry Coke glass for at least 40 minutes and my husband for almost as long, although he did get one refill which was exhausted before his meal arrived. My 8 year old daughter was brought THREE un-needed refills of her blue lemonade by other servers? Don't know what this waitress' problem was, but it will keep us away for a while. We are almost always approached by a manager to ask how things are, but couldn't find one today to complain to.

Texas Roadhouse unauthorized credit card charge

Dined at the Bradenton, Fl location 10/21/18. My meal charge was $16.88 and I left a $5.00 tip on the table for the server which he promptly took. I never add the tip on the receipt. When checking my charge card account, the charge for my meal was $21.88. I called and spoke to the manager on 10/26/18 and explained the situation to her. She went and got the server's receipts for that day and noticed my meal was $16.88. She said she would contact corporate office and had it corrected. She called me back and said the credit should be applied in 24-48 hrs. Five days later and no credit applied. Called on 10/31/18 and spoke to service. She contacted corporate and was told it would be taken care of by that evening. Now Nov. 3rd and still no credit applied to my account. Was told it was an accident but how can you mistakenly enter $21.88 for $16.88. If you choice to eat at this establishment, I strongly recommend you pay at the register and double check your receipt. My mistake - I didn't. Don't understand why it is an issue with crediting my account for the overcharge. So disappointed with the way this situation has been handled. They spoke to the server and accepted the explanation that it was an accident. Don't really accept that but I am not the employer. I will not eat at this establishment again. If it doesn't get corrected, the server got a $10.00 tip for a $16.88 meal charge. Pretty good - don't you think? Again, so disappointed in the handling of this matter of crediting my credit card account for the $5.00,

Texas Roadhouse food

We ordered take out and ordered salads and asked for extra dressing and never received them, so we lost money. We also asked for extra rolls and didn't get any. One of the reasons we eat here is because of the rolls and we love the homemade Italian dressing. Most times we eat here are great but lately been very disappointed. We have eaten here for years and never had issues up until lately.

Texas Roadhouse employee

This employee was cleaning up a table. While she was doing so she took a pill off the table and took the pill. I could not believe Texas Roadhouse would employ someone that could be so careless or reckless while on the job. Her name tag said ashley when I saw her as I walked out of the restaurant. I am still in disbelief that someone could be so dangerous in taking someone else's medicines from a table they work at. I would like to know that's further action will be taken in ensuring that she will be punished.

Texas Roadhouse all around experience from the time we sat down

We frequent this establishment at least once a week. Its my favorite place. As soon as we walked through the door the girl that's at the desk asking how many is my group is the rudest person ever. Tells us to stand to the the side because she needed to get to the people behind us. I havent even told her how many people was in my party yet. There is only 3 of us and it wasnt a busy time for the restaurant. We got seated finally even though there were several empty tables. Everyone was standing around talking and laughing. We got to table and it took waitress 27 minutes to come over and take our drink order after asking for our waitress 3 times. Then she was short with us I guess because we had to ask for her 3 times. Finally got our drinks and appitizer which was cold then ordered our food. 3 simple steaks and salads. Took 40 min to get and they weren't cooked like we asked for them. I'm not a complainer and this is my fab place to eat but there comes a point when something needs to be addressed. Way to much playing and childish actions going on by employees not to mention the rudeness by some. We played for our food that day unhappily $80. I would like a voucher for that amount to actually enjoy my food but it will b at another Texas Roadhouse not this one ever again. There have been several complaints in this area on social media about this one restaurant. Someone needs to look into it. Not at all happy with what happened and neither are several other people around this area.

That is a good thing you will not be returning . You cannot afford their prices. That is why you ate the food without an issue, created fake issues and are demanding full refund. I hope you don't get a full refund. You are not entitled to on. Not their fault you have no job and cannot afford their prices.

Texas Roadhouse food and service

Went out with my family for dinner. My food was drastically undercooked. I ordered a steak well done, came out rare, my mother's food was almost burned, she ate it anyway. I sent mine back and they sent out my baked potato 10 mins before my steak came out. The steak was in the back for 20 more minutes atleast. I figured they were cooking a fresh 1, instead I received my original steak burned and squished back together. I told them I wasn't going to eat it and was completely disrespected for the rest of our visit. The waiter didnt come back and ask if we needed anything else until the check was due. A manager came around while I was waiting and told her what had happened and she basically shrugged it off like she didnt care. This is the worst service I have ever had. The waiter was unprofessional and so was the manager. 42 dollars lighter and had to stop for fast food on the way home. I will rate the company online and share my experience with everyone willing to listen.

Texas Roadhouse prime rib

I get a prime rib every Tuesday in surprise, Arizona. Always excellent. Visiting my daughters in Parker, Colorado, I wanted to treat them to the prime rib at the roadhouse. Terrible meal! We ordered 3 prime ribs, all 3 were very fatty with very little actual meat. We ordered them medium, all 3 were over cooked. It looked as though it was at the end of the prime rib, more like the end cuts. I did speak with the manager. Very disappointing experience.

Texas Roadhouse not being waited on!

We sat in a booth for over 15 minutes and were never waited on. Multiple booths were waited on that came in after us and still not being waited on. We had to physically get up and find someone to wait on us. Then the waitress came to the table and stared at us as if we were an inconvenience instead of asking what we would like to drink. Very unprofessional! If we were not hungry we would have got up and left.

Texas Roadhouse safety

Friday night was not what we had planned..a nice steak dinner, drinks and quality time. Waco's Texas Roadhouse was never where I expected this to happen. The restaurant was packed with a long wait to be seated. We waited a bit for 2 seats to come available in the bar area. Once we sat down, we could hear a "man" talking very loudly and using the "F" bomb every other word. He was talking to what looked to be his very young pregnant girlfriend. The conversation was not pleasant to hear. She never really responded, just sat there like a little puppy being scolded. Eventually, Monty told the coward we were tired of hearing it and he was being really disrespectful to everyone trying to enjoy their meal. Others were also wishing he'd shut up or at least tone in down. At this point things got REALLY heated. Before I knew it, the guy had come over and they were standing face to face with myself, managers and a bartender trying to get between them. At that time the coward stated "I have something for you, a 357" and went outside. I immediately called 911 and several squad cars show up. They instructed us to stay inside. The coward was spoken to by the police and they determined he didn't have a gun on him. The car WAS NOT searched. Afterwards the police came inside and spoke with us. They informed us that the managers said he was a "regular and posed no harm." They asked if we were leaving soon and if we thought it was ok for him to come back in and sit on the other side of the restaurant. I explained that I was scared and my meal was ruined, so we would be leaving after paying our tab. Police left. Now what happened next just baffled me. The coward and his girlfriend came and sat down in their same seats, just four seats down from us. At that time, one of the managers walked up and served
him a fresh cooked meal..even pats him on the back and asked if he was okay. I couldn't believe what I was seeing! I immediately asked to speak to a manager and of course the same one comes after a short time. I explained I couldn't believe what I had just seen. He proceeds to tell me that "he is a regular and it was his understanding that we started the confrontation." I asked if he'd like to speak with some witnesses that were now seated at their tables they were waiting on. He states "NO I'm done!" I then asked why he wasn't seated elsewhere like was discussed. I never really got an answer. Just another "I'M done!". At this point I explained that my meal was ruined and I shouldn't have to pay and I wanted their corporate phone #. He said okay and said that we needed to leave. After taking a while he showed up with the # and said "the man just wants to feed his baby" as he rubbed his own belly. Made me sick! I explained we would never be back and he said "GOOD!" I have never been so scared, frustrated and confused. Is this our justice system? Needless to say corporate will be informed, and if nothing else I expect the manager to have some repercussions. This was handled all wrong and luckily no one was injured. So the theory of the story is...You are not protected! You must listen to profanity and not have any peace when trying to enjoy your meal and last but not least, HE WAS A REGULAR!

YOU CALLED THE POLICE, Over a confrontation at a restaurant THAT YOU STARTED? I really hope that they gave you a, MISUSE OF 911 Ticket. THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY!

People can drop the FBOMB whenever the F _ _ _ they Want! This is a Free Country, and the last time I checked, we all still had first amendment freedoms.

IF you are so scared, frustrated, and confused, when you go to a restaurant, and hear someone cuss, STAY AT HOME! This is 100% your fault, for saying something to begin with... And with regards to your little statement, "Others were also wishing he'd shut up or at least tone in down:"

Did you take a poll of the people in the dining room?

Personally, I think you had to wait a while for your table, and you decided you wanted a free meal as a result, so you decided to get upset, over some guy saying the 'F' Word, and call the police for no reason at all.

Hopefully, the police, and 911 put you on a black list, of people who call the cops, for NO REASON what so ever!

Texas Roadhouse all

In a world of so much negativity I thought that I would write you with not a complaint but rather a praise. My husband and I frequent the texas roadhouse in holly springs north carolina and we love it! I just wanted to say please don't change a thing, you're doing a great job. The steaks are ultra flavorful and always good and at a very reasonable price. I recently ate at ruth's chris on a business lecture. Thankfully I did not have to pay for my dinner as it was ridiculously overpriced! Not only that but the steak was not very good. Texas roadhouse steaks far exceed their food my opinion. Your portions are great, your sides are awesome and the service has always been exceptional! I just wanted to thank you for a great restaurant and a great product...in fact we are going there tonight. I hope that this email gets forwarded to the vp. If your company. Thank you again

Oh grow up child. Just because someone posts something positive about a company does not mean they work there. You are a foolish little child. I would say that you are bashing them because you worked there and were fired. But unlike you I do not make ASSumptions. Besides there are child labor laws and it would be illegal for them to you in the first place.. You are lying by ASSuming that they work there. Mommy needs to give you a good slap across the face and take away your internet little girl. Grow up child.

I am with you, I think the above person probably worked there and got fired. I am a 55-year-old female professional and NO I do not work at Texas Roadhouse not have any connection with them … However we happen to love their steaks! They’re very much worth the money and very flavorful and we have always always always had a good experience! Again like I said before...… “In the world that’s full of negativity “ ... there’s always that one. I hope they have s blessed day! 😊

Texas Roadhouse steak, mac n cheese

Waited 10 minutes at table with no waiter even taking drink order then we finally got our steaks after 30 minutes waiting. Then my wife's sirloin was ordered medium and came out chewy worse then beef jerky and then my sirloin had no flavor, was under cooked, and was chewy. My sons Mac n cheese came out Congealed and dry as ever he wouldn't even eat it. Our drink orders never even got refilled my wife sat there with hers empty for over 20 minutes. I had to get up to go ask for sweet and low because our waiter never even checked on us till it was time for the ticket. Absolutely will never be back after this.

After we left the restaurant just as we were getting into the car my son had to use the restroom. I was so angry at this point that I started slapping him several times. I took him to the washroom. When I came out i noticed someone talking to my wife. They were telling her that I should not hit my son that way, that one slap or spank is acceptable but to slap him across the face several times is abuse. I swore at them and told them to mind their own business. I found out out that they contacted CPS through my license plate number and not they want to talk to me and my wife about how I treat my son.

Texas Roadhouse paducah, ky location, food prep, missing items and overall service

My husband and I eat at TX Roadhouse frequently. We eat here at least 3+ times a month. We have been to many other locations. Our experience is that the food is always great, service very good, and it's an enjoyable experience wherever we eat. We went to the Paducah, KY location on Saturday night, Sep 22 at 5:20 pm. We didn't have call ahead seating, and it was crowded, so we expected a wait. When they seated us, they didn't have any clean forks, so we were seated with a basket of rolls, and nothing else. I ordered a prime rib medium well, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. My husband ordered the ribs, a baked potato, and applesauce. His drink order was water with lemon. (He got just plain water.) It was a wait to get our silverware and napkins. We never got the serving plates for the rolls. My 12 oz prime rib was no more than a 10 oz., had a lot of gristle, and was very well done. I didn't get my broccoli. When it came, it looked burnt, and I didn't eat it. The rolls were lukewarm, and the server refilled my tea glass from a pitcher. We were very, very disappointed. We will never go back to that location again.

Texas Roadhouse meal was not too warm and they did not put extra sour cream in the bag.

I place the order for carry out over the phone. Asked for Extra sour cream for potato which was not warm and was burnt on the outside, stiff on the inside. They gave me 1/2 a small cup of sour cream. Very disappointed. However they gave me 3 butters. They went through the order with me. Said the extras were in the paper bag but did not take them out. I was more interested in the salmon being norweigan. Which the manager looked into and said yes it is norweigan in which he was right. When I got home I could see it in the light. After he pointed it out to me he kind of ignored me. I had asked him another question or two but he did not answer. I had asked for extra ceasar dressing and extra croutons in which they had to go back to the kitchen for more croutons. They had only given me about 7. I would rate this type of service to be about a 7. Due to the potato 1/2 very small cup of sour cream and lousy management.
